Spacious beautiful custom home backing Flagstaff Urban Trail and Thousands of Ponderosa Pines for as far as the eye can see. It sits towards the back of the property so you feel like you have the privacy of a cabin in the woods, but with the conveniences of being very close to all Flagstaff has to offer! Woody Mountain views from the back deck and kitchen! From the top floor North facing bedroom you can see the San Francisco peaks of Flagstaff! Located in the desirable and established University Heights Neighborhood only 10 minutes from Downtown Flagstaff, 5 minutes to Northern Arizona University (NAU), 25 minutes to Arizona Snowbowl for skiing and snowboarding, 40 minutes to beautiful Red Rock Sedona, and 80 miles to Grand Canyon National Park South Rim.

Huge landscaped outdoor area great for entertaining and letting yourself enjoy the cool Flagstaff evenings. Includes 600 square feet of turf, 300 square foot patio with eight seat table, 200 square foot deck with gas fire pit, "L" shaped sectional sofa, chairs, and gas grill. Covered front porch with 1 large rock bench and 3 teak lounger chairs can be used to stay dry and enjoy during monsoon season. During rain storms we even have a river/wash that flows behind the house.

First Floor Master Bedroom: King Pillow Top Bed, 55" Flatscreen TV, Large Walk in Closet, Modern bright Master bath with Double Vanity Sink, Stand Alone Modern Tub, Walk in Full Glass Shower with double shower heads. Watch the beautiful sunrise from bed or pull the blinds to sleep in. At night you can view the stars from the comfort and warmth of your sheets!

Bedroom #2: Queen Bed with bath across the hall with walk in shower and custom metal counter tops. Watch the sunrise way above the trees from bed and watch for shooting stars as you count sheep.

Bedroom #3: Queen Pillow Top Bed with shared bath with shower/tub and double vanity sinks. Wake up viewing the mountain peaks in the distance.

Bedroom #4: Queen Pillow Top Bed over looking thousands of Ponderosa Pines. Watch the sunset fade behind the horizon as your head hits the pillow. *Optional Pack and Play available.

Pool room: Enjoy a game of billiards as dinner is cooking in the cool evenings.

This was one of the best VRBO houses that I have ever stayed in. Family and pet friendly. The house also came with basic amenities that made the stay even easier. Will try and stay here every time I go to Flagstaff.

Perfect Getaway with Awesome Amenities and Stargazing

This house is absolutely perfect for a nice getaway - the pictures don’t do it justice! Great location, cute neighborhood and home decor, bedrooms are very spacious and the hot tub and pool table were a huge plus. We’ve never experienced such great stargazing! The host was very thorough and responded quickly. This house has everything you need!

Perfect get away in Flagstaff

Had a wonderful time at this rental. The house itself is amazing. Has everything inside you could wish/need for. The views are amazing, from deck, side and back yard. Location is perfect!! It was close to downtown flagstaff, but made you feel like you were in the middle of woods once you entered the house and looked out the back. Would definitely rent again.

My husband, our daughters and their spouses, my mom and my grandbaby chose to stay at your home for my daughters graduation from NAU. We loved the open floor plan so we could all talk and gather together. The view is amazing and the neighborhood is so quiet. The house is beautiful and had all we needed! Will was quick with answers to any questions I had. We all appreciated the bits of Star Wars we would discover!

Family Getaway

The house was immaculate from the moment we pulled in the driveway. A lot of windows with beautiful views of the pines really made this trip special as we are from the valley where the only green to be seen this time of year is a cactus! The house was well equipped with towels, blankets, pillows, pots, pans, plates, and some condiments. The owner provided great instructions on how to use the hot tub, fire table, grill, and other things you would want to know about the house. It was also nice to get a car or two in the garage. The backyard has multiple areas to sit around and the grandkids had fun walking around on the hill and having s’mores by the fire. The bedrooms were very spacious, especially the master, and the open layout of the dining area, kitchen, and living room really provided more than enough room for the whole family to hang out and visit. The property was well worth the money and we hope to stay there again soon. Thanks Will.

Beautiful views, quiet luxury, everything you need

We made relatively late plans to take a quick trip to Flagstaff for some family fun in the snow. There were plenty of rentals available but this one stood out to us for a few reasons… the size of the home and the ability to comfortably accommodate our party of five. The views and proximity to beautiful pine trees and surroundings. The pool table. The available garage space. The nice large table in the kitchen. The updated styling of the home and the primary suite being on the first floor. So much goodness to appreciate. When we arrived at the home it was just as stated in the listing in a nice quiet neighborhood- perfect for what our family needed at the time. The check-in and check-out processes were seamless with everything being clearly laid out. The kitchen is fully stocked and not just with the bare minimum, but everything you could possibly need. This was just the retreat we needed!

The Best Place To Stay in Flagstaf. 10 Stars

Three things made this trip perfect (other than the weather which was perfect). First Will, the owner is amazing. Communication with him is immediate and if there is anything that you ask him, you get an answer in a few minutes. He is the best host I have ever dealt with and was one of the main reasons why we booked the house to begin with. Second is the house which is beautiful and perfect. You could not ask for a nicer house anywhere to stay in. Third is the location. We scouted out every location in Flagstaf while here and this is easily the best place to be. Getting to anything takes 10 minutes and you do not have to cross the train tracks to get to stores and restaurants which is wonderful. You can avoid almost all of the bad traffic from here and that is a big deal. I would say that this house deserves 10 stars but I am limited by the system. Between the house, the location and Will, you can not do better than staying in this house. One personal note. Our best meal was at Tinderbox. It is a step above everything else that we found in Flagstaf. Parking is easy (around the corner) and the food and drinks are great.

Many Positives, Except Constant Freeway Traffic Noise

This house is a terrific VRBO in so many ways. It's well stocked with everything you need, the owner/manager is pleasant and very responsive and the decor is super cute. Even though we were in a regular neighborhood, we felt like we were in a mountain chalet looking out at all the tops of the pine trees and enjoying the super cute cabin like decor inside. There are some upscale items in this house that are nice such as a KitchenAide stand mixer, a pool table and baskets of blanket throws to cuddle up with while watching TV. Prior to booking, I scoured the other reviews to see if anyone else had noted traffic sound, since the map shows the back of the home facing the direction towards Hwy 17. Since there was no mention of this, we figured it must not be an issue, so we were really disappointed at the constant hum of cars and grinding of semi-trucks the entire time we were there when we had the windows and slider open. Of course, we were there over a holiday weekend, and perhaps traffic was heavier than usual, but we found this to be a bummer, since we were desperate for a get away from the heat of Phoenix and really wanted to enjoy some fresh, cool air especially at night.

Looking over the thousands of Ponderosa Pines, watching the sunset, and star gazing the millions of stars off the back deck has to be our favorite features of this home as well! Possibly the very busy holiday weekend of your reservation encouraged additional traffic noise with the windows and doors fully open. It is hard to eliminate all traffic noise while still maintaining such a close proximity to town and trails. We spent many nights personally designing so many tiny aspects of our home, trying to think of anything we could to make our guests have a stress-free and relaxing experience! We are so glad you were able to enjoy these luxuries! We’re happy you were able to enjoy all Flagstaff has to offer and enjoy our home to the fullest! Hopefully you were able to sit back and view the Milky Way by the fire pit!

Comfortable luxury in Flagstaff

Will’s home in Flagstaff was just what my family wanted; a quiet escape with beautiful views to play in the mountains while still close to restaurants and shops. The home is beautifully appointed, offers the most comfortable beds (with window treatments that keep every bit of light out!), plenty of space to engage in family time or to take a minute for yourself. We’ve stayed in all kinds of rentals and this is among very few that offers a complete kitchen in which to make delicious meals-from spices to well maintained appliances to foil and food storage to cookware I’d use in my own home. The whole home is put together with such thoughtful efficiency…it was very easy to find what we needed. My favorite example was the clearly labeled full/empty propane tanks in the garage! The home is in a family neighborhood in a quiet culdesac next to friendly neighbors. We got a bunch of snow over our visit which was plowed in no time and repeatedly over a couple days. Will was a breeze to work with, very accessible, kind and efficient. Truly a gem of an experience and one we plan to replicate in the future! Oh, and my budding teenage photographer was enamored of the stunning photos displayed throughout the home. Cheers, Will and thanks again!

Peaceful luxury in the pines

What a beautiful home inside and out. Communication with Will and Keri was easy and smooth, and they have taken great care to ensure all the details were clearly communicated and easily referenced. Aside from logistics, the home and experience was an absolute delight! Goodness, it's gorgeous. From the living room, kitchen and most of the bedrooms there is a view of just beautiful pines/mostly tree tops. I loved just watching the gentle movement of the trees, and how it seemingly fills all the windows. The view is amazing. The house is STUNNING. I love the floor plan, architectural details, decor and furniture of the home. Traveling can be stressful but I felt very at peace and calm during our stay here. The bathtub in the master bedroom is so awesome. I could gush on and on but I just think it's the most beautiful house and I will keep this home in my memory in case I build a second home in the mountains someday. We have three young children and I was so thankful that the house was wonderfully outfitted to host them! I teared up when I saw the two high chairs set up for my twins at the kitchen counter. Traveling with kids is hard and seeing that there was just so touching. The rooms had great curtains that helped with sleeping in and there was plenty of space for the kids the run around. There was a baby gate downstairs as well which was a huge relief so that I could contain the kids without worrying about them climbing the stairs. There were also some delightful children's toys that the kids loved. The kitchen is beautiful and well outfitted - we had everything we needed! All around it was a really outstanding experience and Will and Keri were wonderful hosts!! Thank you so much!!

Relax in the Woods

This home is very nicely appointed with plenty of room for everyone. We enjoyed the privacy of the back deck with firepit and the side yard where we brought a Cornhole set. The pool table was an added bonus and we enjoyed playing cards and games at the large dining table. 15 minutes from downtown and.lots of walking trails nearby. We would definitely recommend this property.

This home is spectacular! Comfortable, relaxing, awesome location to Flagstaff and an hour from Sedona. Home in the pines! We relaxed by the gas fire pit on the deck, enjoyed numerous games of pool and just plain relaxed. Definitely stay again. Super easy host.

Absolute Perfection!

Gorgeous home in an equally beautiful neighborhood. From the moment we walked through the door, everything was perfect! It's as if they took the best of every other VRBO and implemented it in this home. We were incredibly impressed by the the cleanliness and organization of every room. Our adult children joined us and the memories we created will last a lifetime. Hubby always brings his Baggo board, and the side yard was perfect for an epic competition! We hiked and biked the trails behind the house. ( I left some suggestions in the guest book.) Having a quick shower then plunging into the hot tub was magical after our long rides! Each evening by the fire pit on the patio was bliss. Our hosts were so kind to have propane tanks ready and labeled. Will is super easy to communicate with and responds almost instantly. If I could rate this property with a zillion stars, I would! That reminds me, we got to watch the meteor shower last night from the patio!

Experience was fantastic. Property is a appointmented with everything you would ever think of needing. The space is fantastic. The deck overlooking the forest and the Ponderosa Pines is amazing. The lower yard with the swing and jacuzzi and picnic table is a great escape if you want a little privacy from the group.
