We had such a great time. I have 7 really close girlfriends and we’ve been close for 40 years so we always pick a property to stay at for a weekend and we were so excited to finally get a property that was right on the water and the property did not disappoint. Of course it rained all day Saturday and we checked in Friday at three, but we did get to enjoy the outdoors Friday night. Went to some wineries on Saturday and there were plenty to choose from! Mary was so responsive and answer any questions we had. We will definitely stay again!

Great Family Trip

Perfect Location

Perfect location on the water. Easy walk to one of our now favorite Wineries Rooster Hill. Couldn’t have asked for a better place to stay.

Beautiful lakeside vacation

Mary Ellen's home was exactly as pictured, absolutely beautiful, and the location couldn't have been better! The road, where the house is located, is very quiet and walkable allowing us to take a morning stroll each day. I would highly recommend and definitely visit again!

Friend Weekend Getaway

Our group of 7 friends had a great time in this beautiful home on Keuka Lake. Perfect location to visit wineries, The Windmill Market and downtown Penn Yan. Home had all the amenities supplied. View of the lake from the rooms, deck and patio are stunning. Definitely would stay here again !

Terrific Home!

This home was perfect for our group of 7. There are great gathering areas overlooking the lake and on lake level. The home was nicely furnished and very clean. We all agreed that we would love to rent this property again.

Fantastic Home, wonderful stay

Cloudy Eclipse Weekend

It was mostly cloudy for the 2024 Eclipse but luckily we had this great house on the lake to enjoy our time in the Finger Lakes with friends. The owner was quick to respond to our few minor questions. It was also enjoyable just to walk the low traffic road along the lake.

This is LAKE LIFE

Start you day enjoying a cup of coffee on the upper deck while looking out over the water...end the day sipping on a glass of wine on the lower patio while watching the sunset! We did a winery tour (only 5 of the many around Keuka) and spent the morning hiking at Watkins Glen - a MUST SEE stop in the Finger Lakes! This house was perfect for our girls weekend - kayaking, grilling and just enjoying time with each other in the comfort of this gem on the lake!

Awful Neighborhood- STAY ELSEWHERE!!

What we had hoped would be a peaceful, relaxing weekend of sitting by the Lakeshore, listening to the waves and enjoying my oldest daughters graduation from college was quickly turned into a white trash, trailer park Of a neighborhood. We arrived to this area of nice lakefront homes to check in around 3 PM, the house across the street and just to the north diagonally already had eight young men on the lawn playing beer pong and playing music so loudly that all within a 1/2 of a mile radius could hear it. They were cursing and screaming. These entitled spoiled little brats, could obviously care less about the rest of the entire neighborhood or the fact that they had an entire house to do this INSIDE of. This behavior continued for most of the night, we tried to get some sleep but at around 12:30 in the morning, we were woken up by these eight self-absorbed, self-centered idiots , swimming in the lake right next to the house we had rented, again, screaming, yelling, and cursing. At this point, I had to call law enforcement. A Yates county deputy sheriff showed up and spoke to them a short time later. This conversation seems to have no impact at all. We left for my daughters graduation the next morning and we returned around noon and they were absolutely at it again on the front lawn in the neighborhood of million dollar lakefront homes playing beer pong, playing their music just as loudly as it was the day before. We were forced to leave at that point!!! STAY ELSEWHERE!!!!!

I was expecting this review. This is something that has NEVER happened in this neighborhood. The owners of the house next door(not a rental) allowed their son in law and soon to be son in law to host their batchelor party at their lake home. Yes, it seems it turned into rowdy party but this was a rare event around here. I have sent a letter to the parents(owners) and hope to get a response. The renter at our home became very unhinged at this and I did not blame him. It was an unfortunate situation and one that we did not have control of as we had no idea this was going to happen. In no way should this deter future guests at our home as it was an isolated event. I think this is obvious from our 5 star reviews.

60th birthday celebration

We stayed here to celebrate a 60th birthday party for one of our friends. The cottage is lovely, very clean and well maintained. The deck and fire put area looks like it would be a lot of fun in the Summer months. Highly recommend staying here!

Perfect lake front property

Easy access to lake, dock was perfect for hanging out and swimming. Only thing missing was a ladder ;) Enjoyed both deck areas, one for sunny days and one for when the rain comes. The views were perfect. Close to several restaurants in either direction. The property itself was lush w greenery. We will definitely look up this property again when we are in the area.

Our 50th Keuka College Reunion

The house was fabulous for the 6 of us. The owner was easily reached when the hot water heater unexpectedly failed and they arranged to have a new one installed ASAP...AND even compensated us for the inconvenience. While the VRBO noted "few steps" there are actually three full stairways to navigate so mobility is required. The views were awesome and the house had all necessary amenities. Beds were comfortable and AC worked great. There's lots of space to entertain and a great outdoor grill. We loved this place and plan to return soon.
