Come back home and relax while discussing the day’s adventures before heading for dinner in one of the restaurants in Kaimuki - 5 minutes away - or Waikiki – 2.5 miles away. Or prepare dinner in the large, well-appointed kitchen and dine on the expansive lanai while appreciating a gorgeous sunset. Before retiring, spread out in the roomy living room, watch the wide screen TV in the den, or play board games around the dining room table. There are two bedrooms – one with a king bed and one with a queen bed. The couch in the den also converts to a queen bed. There’s an easy parking spot plus plenty of off-street parking and free WiFi. A washer and dryer with detergent are available on the first floor, as well as an outside shower to wash off the beach sand. The house has lovely large side and back yards with mango, lychee and citrus trees and numerous flowering tropical plants. It’s situated on a steep street (hence the great views) and in a neighborhood where local residents go to work in the morning and come home in the evening – so there is street noise at those times. The rental unit is the entire second floor (22 steps up from the parking area) of a 2-story vintage Hawaiian home. There is a long term tenant on the ground floor who has a completely separate entrance. The manager lives right across the street and has received rave reviews for her advice and attention to tenants needs.
