Great stay!

We booked this for our family of 8 adults as we were attending a wedding at Spanish Point. The lodge was a great size for the group and perfectly situated for us. The owner David, was very friendly and prompt to respond to our needs. We have a great time in this beautiful part of Ireland.

Berry Lodge

Such a wonderful place! The location and condition of the house were first rate! My husband, myself, our adult children and spouses made ourselves at home. David was super easy to work with. I can’t say enough about how great this experience was.

Wild Atlantic Way Stay at Berrylodge

Absolute Perfection. We loved Berrylodge and highly recommend staying here. Convenient day drives to sites along the WAW. Rented the entire house for 9 adults where we attended a wedding. Enough room to socialize & enough room for privacy (if you wanted it.) Extraordinary well-appointed kitchen and comfortable beds. David, the host, was very attentive and provided helpful recommendations. I hope to go back to Berrylodge soon. We all had truly wonderful stay!

Perfect for a family reunion

We had a wonderful time at the Berry Lodge. It is an amazing house at a great location. The house provides everything you need and more and was perfect for our group of 10. David was really nice and helpful! We can definitely recommend this house and hope to go there again some time.

Wonderful retreat

The Berry Lodge was the perfect setting for our family gathering this summer. Spacious with 5 en-suite rooms (plus a smaller unadvertised extra room for that additional guest), the lodge is located within easy walking distance of the water, very close to Spanish point and it’s amazing surf-ready beach, easy access to supply shopping nearby Milltown Malbay, and great view of the ocean and pastoral landscape, it is centrally located on the coast of Clare for up and down county ramblings. As a former cooking school it has a professional kitchen that will allow the production of large group meals if that’s your thing, or fine dining can be found at the Armada hotel or Bellebridge inn, with several other options including takeout nearby. Our family and guests were very impressed with the lodge and we came to consider it our home base as we visited the Burren, Lehinch, Loop Head, the Cliffs of Moher, Ennistymon, Caherconnell, the Aran islands and numerous other small excursions. David was amazing and responsive to the little things and questions that come up, and helped arrange dining options and bike rentals. The perfect getaway!
