The Bokeelia Boathouse is great for bringing a boat with easy access to cruising around the islands in SWFL. The greatest enjoyment for me in the house is seeing the sunrise over the front canal and then the sunset on the back deck.

Great spot!!

Property was exactly as advertised and super simple check in and out. Great spot if you’re coming to fish with a dock with power and water located on the dock. Would recommend everyone to stay here and we would definitely come back! Thank you

Relaxing Getaway

Lovely property, very clean, newly updated, well-appointed kitchen and home, very spacious! Island is quiet and low-key and we enjoyed local seafood everyday! Watched the sunrise from the front balcony in the mornings and enjoyed watching the boats come in and out in the morning and evening. Check-in and out was a breeze.

Weekend get away

Everything was very clean and comfortable. The main thing that caught my eye was the dock in the pictures and easy access to it. But, upon arrival, the dock is not part of the rental. Had to use a narrow canal ,instead. Not a deal breaker, but just a little misleading in the pictures.

Location, locaton, location

The property was clean & cozy. The boat access amazing. We saw manatee & dolphin every day. Only issue is that we didn't catch any fish! I would go there again. Cynthia, the property manager was very sweet. Oh, and the shelling is simply amazing.

Great house in a fantastic location

It's hard to imagine a better location for boaters and kayakers. The Jug Creek Marina gas pump is 3 doors down the canal and Shell Pass is about 2 minutes away. Hop in a kayak and you'll be at the Calusa Island Preserve in 2 minutes. There was plenty of room for our 20' center console and we thoroughly enjoyed our stay. You'll love the sunrise view over the islands!

Nice place to stay

The house was clean and well keep . The beds are firm and very comfortable the pillows were perfect and if you wanted a thicker pillow there was two thicker ones in the closet . The kitchen had plenty of utensils and a nice selection of pots and pans and bowls for cooking. The screened in porch front and back have very comfortable chairs for morning or evening setting. We were fishing and will be back. The fish cleaning table is very small and wobbly but we made do. A great place to stay.

Boathouse spectacular

The view on the deck was beautiful particularly with sunrise and sunsets. Excellent location to rent kayaks, and sign up for fishing adventures. The house was clean and beds comfortable. We spent a week there and each day was busy. House manager very helpful and informative.
