My family and I enjoyed our stay. The house was fairly clean, and very welcoming. The kids enjoyed the freedom of the huge front and backyard. The house had all the required amenities to accommodate our stay. Would definitely rent this home again on our next visit soon.

The house was comfortable, quiet and country. The property is well maintained and the fence was perfect for the dogs. The host Amy was most gracious and welcomed us with some home grown Texas hospitality...(fresh garden delights). It was a great little stay and when we travel back to the area again we will definitely book again! Thank You Amy
The property was just as advertised and met my family’s needs perfectly. We unilaterally agreed we would stay there again in the future. Amy was attentive and extremely helpful. The dogs loved the property and it’s completely fenced so no worries there. For us…this was a 10 outta 10 stay! 😊
This was the our type of rental, in the country, no traffic noise.
You will hear the trains in the background, my husband’s a train watcher, but you can’t see them.
Fort Hood is near by and do practice exercises. Sound like distant thunder.

Great place in the country for a quiet stay!
If you are looking to get out of the city and enjoy some quiet time in the country, this is the place. Was in the area for work, spent 3 weeks here and had no issues at all, we are country folks, so this place was right up my alley for an extended trip with the opportunity to bring my wife and our pups along without having to worry about making it work in a congested hotel scenario. The house was clean and is very roomy with plenty of space for a larger group if needed. All the appliances worked fine, internet was good for streaming and getting work done.Close enough to shopping and food to be convenient, but far enough out to get away from the grind. Easy day trips to Austin and Waco. Groceries and restaurants within 15 minutes in Temple with convenience stores much closer if just needing a few items.Where we live is heavy forest, so was really nice to be somewhere to enjoy the wide open space and views for a bit - sunrises / sunsets are really nice from the porches. We would stay here again for sure!
The sheets on the master mattress were dirty. Abrasive gunk on the sheets along with multiple pieces of hair. The master mattress could have been taken straight from a dump and put directly into that master bedroom. The hall bath toilet was filthy and unclean. The entire place is grimey and poorly maintained.
I contacted the on call property manager directly.. never received a response. I contacted Evolve and it took a month to get a credit that didn’t cover the cleaning fee. Vrbo would do nothing because I did not contact them while in the house ( we were there less than two day ).
We are now former customer.
We really enjoyed the rural privacy of this property! The massive yard is fully fenced and was perfect for our two small boys to run and play in with minimal parental stress. The layout of the house is also super family friendly. Both front and back porches are cozy and inviting for cold sweet tea and good conversation. I’m certain we’ll be staying again in the future!

If you are looking for a place that is out in the country with nothing around, this is for you. The house is not represented well in the outside front photo. The front has massive overgrown trees (some half dead). The fire pit does not have stumps as in the picture, but what looked like old school desks around it. The grill is charcoal and very old.
The house itself is old but clean. It reminds me of my grandmothers house. Outdated furniture and decor. Could not get the shower in the master bath to work. Back outside light didn’t work. The property is surrounded by what looks like a family compound of about 3 houses on the right. Behind the house is a pasture with a horse. We never saw anyone tend to this poor horse with food or water for 3 days. Since this is your only view from the back porch it’s pretty hard to not notice or care.
The outdoor furniture is metal and SO uncomfortable we went and bought chairs to sit in. Since the house is in the middle of nowhere it would have been nice to at least have comfortable outdoor seating.
On the positive side, the washer and dryer are very nice as well as the fridge. The king sized bed in the master was very comfortable! And the water pressure and hot water in the guest bath were awesome.
This rental served our purpose of getting off the grid for a few days but we were disappointed overall with the condition of the property.
We enjoyed our time here. It was the perfect place for our family to meet up. The country setting was so nice, and we spent a lot of time enjoying the outdoors.
Very nice home ! Enjoyed all the space and comfy beds ! It was very nice of them to leave us a bottle of wine which we enjoyed and had a relaxing time !
The manager was very nice and accommodating. The house was nice and felt homey. Had everything we needed and then some. Would love to stay there again when we are in the area.

Peaceful and Relaxing
We stayed at Willows Nest while working in Waco. It was such a little gem! We enjoyed weekend fires in the fire pit, relaxing on the back porch in the morning sun and on the front porch for the sunset. Peaceful and relaxing with everything we needed! All with a fabulous host who was available if we needed her. Wonderful stay, wouldn’t hesitate to do it again!
Spacious fenced yard, with a friendly horse the next yard over. Lots of room to run. Rural area, but close to small town with a nice grocery store, and a larger area with many good restaurants. very quiet.
the house is charming and nicely appointed. I wish we could have stayed longer.
This place was amazing!! The outdoor fire pit & grill were the best for having a beer at night. It was clean and the beds were nice ! Will stay again the next time we are in town !
We enjoyed the property, the peace and quiet. We used the fire ring outside and just sat out on the porch. I have been working in Temple and have had to use a VRBO every week and this has been by far the BEST. Also, the host was very helpful and responsive. I have already booked my next stay. The only thing I would say is bring your own coffee cups. The cups in the house barely hold the coffee from the Keurig and if you want to add creamer or something, forget it.
This is an older style home but everything was clean and welcoming. It was perfect for what we needed. Sitting on the front porch listening to bullfrogs in the evening was so relaxing. Amy was a great host couldn't be more pleased with our stay!
The property is beautiful! The kids played in the yard the entire time no matter how cold it was. We loved being able to see and hear all the different animals. Plenty of bedding. If I had to be in this area again I would definitely stay here again
