Come enjoy beautiful old charm! This diamond in Palmyra, PA is less than 10 minutes from popular Hershey attractions, 30 minutes from Amish Country, 45 minutes from Round Top Mountain Resort, and less than 2 hours from the beautiful Poconos mountains. Seated in a quiet small town that is ideally located for exploring all that Central PA has to offer. Explore Gettysburg, ride the Strasbourg Railroad, cruise on the Susquehanna, or enjoy Hershey attractions while staying in this beautiful home that can sleep up to 14 guests! This home is also conveniently located only two blocks from the center of Palmyra where there are restaurants, quaint shops, convenience stores, and access to the bus line that run to Hershey Park and the outlets.

Inside, you will find a spacious kitchen with enough counter space to prepare all your meals! Enjoy them in the huge dining room that seats 12+. The living room offers comfortable seating including a large sectional, chaise and futon couch along with a large screen TV with Cable, WIFI, and a Roku. Upstairs, sleep comfortably in one of the 5 bedrooms that includes 3 queen beds, 1 full bed, and 3 sets of bunk beds.

The backyard of this home is a shared exit for both the house and the attached apartment. You are welcome to use the backyard for your enjoyment during your stay, but residents or guests of apartment may walk from the garage to the driveway. Please keep walkways accessible. Please be respectful of neighbors by following all Palmyra noise ordinance and laws during your stay. There shall be no loud noises or music outside and no parties during your stay. Any use of illegal substances is strictly prohibited on site. While we want you to enjoy your stay in our home, several recent incidences that resulted in neighborhood complaints have made it necessary to add this to the description to ensure that our home and others in the area remain available to rent.

Everything was as described. There was a large kitchen/dining room set up that was able to fit our family which was a huge plus! There were plenty of sleeping arrangements. The bed I slept in was quite comfortable. The check-in/out process was quite smooth. The host was very good at pointing out the rules. Overall, the place felt very clean; the sheets, bath towels, bathrooms, everything. Thank you!

We love the place and had a great time. So many of the details were taken care of and provided to make the stay very easy. Only thing that I wanted to mention was that many of the beds were not made with linens when we got here so we had to put the linens on which for some of the beds, Bunkbeds, especially, was a bit of a hassle. Upstairs bathroom door doesn’t close that well. Have to lift and push a lot to Close and Lock, which causes a lot of noise for the bedroom right outside of it in the middle of the night. Loved so many things about the house though. Highly recommend.

Fun family getaway at Hershey

This is home away from home for our family of 14. This is the 4th time we stayed here. Location is great. Amenities are wonderful. Everyone has a bed to sleep in. Walking distance to food, post office, some shopping, and church. Very nice neighbors.

Perfect spot!

This was the perfect spot for our Girl Scout Troop after a day at Hershey Park! Everything was perfect. The descriptions were highly accurate and the location was so close to Hershey. The upstairs bathrooms upgrades look wonderful!

My extended family all came together to celebrate my son’s graduation and various birthdays. We were able to walk to a wonderful gluten free Italian restaurant one night and eat around a huge family table another night. So close to Hershey attractions. Just perfect!!

My college roommates and I used this as a meet uo for our three families and we explored chocolate world and Troegs! Very good location. There was a small any problem but it didnt affect our stay at all. Would definitely recommend.

Great House and Location

The house was amazing and had such character. We loved the huge table here all of us were able to sit and eat together. The kitchen was well stocked with everything you could need. The house was 10 minutes from Hershey, which was our reason for the stay. The supermarket, pizzeria and liquor store were minutes away. Parking was easy and accessible. Highly recommend this house.

Great location, cute home. We had a fantastic time. This house was just what we needed to catch up with friends and have our kids play all weekend. The house was very clean, spacious and updated. Only improvements would be central a/c and another bathroom. However, the temperature was comfortable with the window a/c units.

Great place for a big family

Very spacious house yet a cozy feel. The upstairs bathroom is mid reno but had no affect on usage. Plenty of room for extended family. 10min from Hershey park. Surrounded by cute restaurants. Convenient and beautiful huge kitchen and unique dining table. Updated appliances and fun porch with swing and breakfast corner table. We all had a great time.

Close to Herseypark

This home is within 5 minutes from all things Hersey! It had everything you would need for your home away from home. Beautiful home. All 14 of us were able to stay without any worries. The entire home was beautifully decorated. This home is very accommodating to children as well as adults. She even had games to play while visiting. The owner, Cindy, is always just a phone call away if needed.

GREAT location, clean & private

The property was very clean, easy to find & has lots of space. The only downside was having 1 bathroom, but with 4 adults & 3 kids staying, it was never an issue for us. We would definitely stay here again if we visit Hershey. It had everything we needed and was easy to get in and out of. Wifi & basic cable. We dined out for all of our meals, but if we chose to stay in, it would've been very easy with a fully supplied & clean kitchen. The owner was readily available & responsive for anything via phone call or text. Our deposit was also returned the night we departed which is the soonest I've ever had that happen!

Our family absolutely enjoyed calling this home for 2 weeks!

Our family of 13 spent two weeks in this awesome home. We enjoyed so much about the home itself - spending time on the front porch on the swing or doing projects and games at the table, the back yard sections were perfect for collecting fireflies (lightning bugs), and the large table in the dining room was very adequate for everyone to sit at one time to eat or enjoy games and crafts. The large spacious kitchen was great with lots of counter space and plenty of cabinets. We made breakfast each morning and many times our lunch as well. Having the laundry room was a bonus. The living room at the front of the house had plenty of space for playing with toys or enjoying a show on the large screen television. Our daughter was able to continue teaching English to her students in China, thanks to the available wifi connection. There were some games and toys at the house for our young ones. Also, a pack n play for our youngest one to sleep in. Everyone had a comfortable bed in which to sleep. The a/c units worked great, so despite the heat and high humidity at times, we were very comfortable. We loved the doorbell tones. And, the fact that you could tell if the guest was at the back door or the front door, based on the sound of the doorbell. The location is perfect. Like the ad, it is definitely close to all things Hershey. Close enough to make a late night run to Chocolate World for a yummy cupcake or for yet another ride through Chocolate World. The home is also convenient for trips to Amish country, to Harrisburg, or many other locations. We enjoyed walking to church each Sunday. As well as walking to the square of Palmyra and checking out the fun shops along Main Street and some of the side streets. And, the post office is only two doors away if you need to mail post cards or send packages. Our experience with Cindy has been very rewarding. She is very prompt at replying to our communications. Also, her mother-in-law, Helen, was there to greet us and give us they keys upon arrival. If the opportunity presents itself for all of us to return to Pennsylvania in the future, we already know where we will be staying. Thank you, Cindy! And, thank you to your husband for all the projects he has done around the house that enhanced our stay.

Character galore

My husband and I enjoy working on our home, hiking, biking, and hanging out. We grew up outside of Pennsylvania, but really love it here. We are houseparents at a local boarding school for low income children and bought our home as a project, somewhere to stay when we are not working and as a way to make as extra income to help pay for schooling and missions.

Why they chose this property

We loved this home the minute we walked in with all of it's old charm and wood everywhere. It has a lot of character!

What makes this property unique

We have a great front porch swing that might be fun to take the time to hang out on. There are lots of areas in the home to be by yourself even if you have a large group traveling with you. It has a cozy feel and lots of character.
