Good location that might require some driving skills, excellent view. Small repairs will improve residents experience. Generally quieter. Equipped with some essentials that will help does staying for long periods.

La casa es muy grande, con cuatro habitaciones con camas dobles, la limpieza básica de baños, menaje de ropa estaba correcto, pero se observaba que la casa ha estado cerrada, con telas de arañas en determinados sitios y mucha mucha humedad (dentro de armarios y en las paredes se ve claramente); en la habitación de la planta baja se caía la pintura del techo. La piscina es un jacuzzi. Se necesita coche para cualquier desplazamiento, pero imagino que esto es así en toda la isla. Los colchones algo incómodos. Por lo demás, bien.

Volgens de advertentie zou het huis 4 badkamers hebben. Dat klopt dus niet.3 badkamers. Het huis was voor portugeese begrippen goed( denk ik) het was eenvoudig. Bedden waren smal 140 breed kraakten erg.Het was er schoon en als uitval basis was het voldoende. Het huis ligt op een berg en zodra je het terras afloopt moet rekening er mee houden dat het gelijk bergaf loopt.

Disappointing accommodation

We would describe the villa as basic. There was no washing up bowl, sink plug or drainer, which obviously made washing up difficult so we bought a plug and drainer. There was also no kettle, although this is sometimes down to local preferences. There are 3 bathrooms in total, 1 downstairs with a shower cubicle and 2 upstairs, 1 with a bath only and 1 en suite with a corner shower tray and curtain which did not reach the tray and so flooded the floor when it was used. The hot water often ran out so we (5 adults) showered at different times of the day. There is also a toilet downstairs (presumably described as the 4th bathroom) but is has no seat. There were no cleaning materials and little toilet paper so I would suggest bringing your own or buying some as soon as possible. Each bedroom has only 1 bedside lamp and there are no spare sheets or blankets. There were a couple of extra pillows but no coverings for them. Outside the views are lovely but the 2 lounger cushions are tatty and the chairs could do with a clean. The location means that walking anywhere involves some steep gradients, often without pavements, so I would consider hiring a car (if you are good at hill starts ...) or using taxis to get around. There are also a lot of dogs in the area who seem to bark all the time!! We were on holiday when Madeira went into lockdown and will hopefully return again soon to enjoy the holiday that we had planned but would not book this villa again.

Satisfait dans l’ensemble

Logement qui semble plutôt haut de gamme mais il ne faut pas trop regarder dans les détails. Fuite dans la cuisine qui a été signalée dès notre arrivée mais rien n’a été fait. Lors de notre départ, nous avons laisser les clés sur la table et sommes partis sans voir personne car l’aéroport gérant n’était pas à l’heure et nous avions un avion à prendre. Logement plutôt bien situé mais une voiture semble nécessaire.

Flott opphold på Madeira! Fantastisk natur og hyggelige mennesker!

Fint hus flott terrasse og utsikt! Mangelfull info fra vert da vi kom. Bl a vanskelig å finne ut hvordan vi skulle komme til byen. Mugg i kjøkkenskap og vannlekkasje under oppvaskbenk. Harde senger! Noen drosjesjåfører hadde problem med å finne adressen.
