Beautiful duplexed cottage built in 2018 . Lower walkout unit. Book your vacation now to enjoy the many activities this 4 season paradise has to offer . Ski at Blue Mountain! Hike or Bike the Bruce Trail . Walk or cycle along the Georgian Trail which extends from Collingwood all the way to Meaford. Caving, climbing and of course shopping! Golf at one of the many beautiful courses in the area, Fish, boat or swim on gorgeous Georgian Bay ! After a day of skiing or summer activities enjoy relaxing around the firepit or enjoy a game of beach volleyball on the sand court . This 2 KING bedrooms, 2 bath unit is beautifully appointed with walk in closets and kitchen pantry! Maximum 4 guests. Heated floors throughout this open concept space. Comfy cozy King size beds with luxurious linens. This cottage is a duplex , this unit being the lower walkout unit . Privacy is not an issue, each unit having separate driveways, entrances as well each having its own patio, verandahs, outdoor seating and Weber Gas Grill. Want two families vacationing together? This is the perfect opportunity. These duplexed units DO NOT have inside access to one another. Close to Hwy 26 ( 2 lane road) with easy access to activities, restaurants, grocery stores, LCBO all within 5 min drive. Back yard has a Regulation sized sand volleyball court installed spring 2018. 2 Kayaks and a few cruiser bicycles for your enjoyment Beautiful storage building to access bikes or store your own bikes in this securely locked space . Children's strollers available for guest use as well as folding Beach chairs,. (guest will require vehicle either a truck or a roof rack to take kayaks 5 min drive to beach) Fire pit with provided firewood surrounded with Muskoka chairs. Relax on your private covered porch. Partake in many local activities including Live Musical/Theatrical events at the Meaford Hall Arts and Cultural Center after dining in one of the areas amazing restaurants. Local vineyards offering wine tasting and Charcuterie platters . Thornbury Cidery is a neat stop to sample local ciders . Gorgeous waterfront within a 5 minute drive. Collingwood and Blue Mountain activities 15-20 min drive .

Relaxing Canadian Experience

We enjoyed the convenience and location of this property. It felt removed and private yet easy to get to town and nearby areas of interest. Cleanliness, and comforts of home are high priority for us and this Meaford home provided both! While in the area, we took a kayak trip down the Beaver River, drove to Tobermory to see flower pot Island, went on a fishing charter and caught Lake Trout for dinner, biked, hiked, fished the Big Head River, visited Blue Mountain and scenic caves, travelled to Sauble Beach, and got in a few games of beach volleyball at the house! It was fun to explore local fruit and farm stands, enjoy a delicious meal at Ted's, dine at the Leaky Canoe and make and prepare a few meals in the adequately stocked kitchen.

Wonderful place in beautiful area

We loved staying here. The place is newly renovated with beautiful furniture and appliances and every thought for what you might want is included. Lianne is a great host and was very good with communication. The only drawbacks were that it is right off the highway and nothing is walkable at all, including the nearby Georgian Trail and that the location has many rules. We felt a little on eggshells throughout our stay.

Beautiful, impeccably kept and had everything we needed, except a turkey baster - lol but Lianne bought us a foil roaster that worked great. Only suggestion is a second hand held spot for at least one of the showers so you can shower without getting your hair wet. The hostess gifts were much appreciated. Going to suggest place to others.

Beautiful cottage in a charming town

We were immediately impressed with the cleanliness and beauty of the cottage. The owner, Lianne, made us feel welcome by adding a few extra special touches by leaving a fresh pie, a bottle of Rose, coffee and cream in the fridge. Our sheets were also spritzed with essential oils to promote a restful, peaceful sleep. We had everything we needed throughout our stay. Meaford is a charming, small town with a few good restaurants, a small beach and other attractions such as a trail for biking and hiking, etc... The cottage is close enough to Thornburry, Collingwood and Blue Mountain which provided us with alternative areas to visit. Blue Mountain Resort had a lot of interesting attractions. More than we could do in one day. The Blue Mountain area had scenic caves and a suspension bridge that we visited. Communication with Lianne was very good as well. She was very responsive to texts. We would absolutely consider renting this cottage again in the future. Thank you Lianne for all that you did to ensure we had a great time on vacation.

Such a beautiful property!

Me and my family were over the moon with our week stay. Lianne went over the top with making sure the cottage was well stocked and clean! She was also very responsive to messages and answered all our questions! We will definitely be back and recommend her 100%!

Fantastic stay!!!

This beautifully appointed property was outstanding. Attention paid to every detail! We just spent a week here hiking The Bruce Trail, golfing and enjoying the communities from Collingwood to Owen Sound. We will definitely be back to this gem!

Beautiful Cottage

Fabulous cottage. Extremely well appointed with everything you would need+++ Beds are very comfortable. The location is great, a short distance to Meaford and Thornbury. Bruce trail is close by for some great hikes. Lots of good restaurants in the area. The owner is always available if you need anything. Would highly recommend!

Excellent property!

Luxurious, meticulous, modern furnished property well located between Thornbury and Meauford off highway 26. Extras such as 2 kayaks, gas bbq grill, foldable beach chairs, bicycles are also available for use. Very cosy!

We were absolutely charmed by the place. It was very cosy and neat. The hospitality of the owner is impeccable making us feel very welcome. If you are planning to visit the surrounding area, this is the place to stay! Most of the activities we had planned were unfortunately between one to two hours drive one way. (Bruce peninsula) So we had to do a lot of driving every day. But we felt at home every evening once back after long days. Thank you Lianne for everything and your hospitality!

Great cottage

The cottage is beautifully appointed and the host did lots of small touches which were very appreciated (food in the fridge, table set, canoes and other sports accessories available). Nice location between Meaford and Thornbury near a few farm markets. The only downside--the cottage is next to a highway so you hear cars noises from outside (not inside).

Must Return Vacation Spot

One of the most welcoming of cottages I have had the pleasure of staying in. Clean, homey, close to everything (LCBO ESPECIALLY) and one of the most best hostess one could ever meet. Lianne made it possible with her recommendations to restaurants, waterfalls (a must visit site), etc. I wouldn’t hesitate to vacationing here again with my family and friends.
