Location is great, the place is very basic!

Only one room with AC and only one fan to use between 2 rooms, good collection of cups, plates, etc but beds were noisy and uncomfortable. Parking was a HUGE issue, not worth the money, my opinion...

Trip thru northern Italy

Nicolo’s place was great. Nice location to see Rome with public transportation (minus the one day strike which is not the stay’s fault) while having a nice patio to drink wine in the evening or coffee in the morning. Nice little sandwich shop and coffee shop virtually next door. Nicolo gave us some tips for restaurants and was willing to make a reservation for us. Recommended.

What an enchanting spot! We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at this apartment in June. It was large and clean, with an incredible, peaceful courtyard in front and our own smaller courtyard off the back. We felt it was very close to public transportation with a delightful bodega serving pastries and gelato just steps away. Also a yummy sandwich shop next door. We had an easy time getting into the apartment and the owners were flexible with our luggage drop-off as we navigated an earlier than expected arrival. I can't say enough good things about this place!

Die Wohnung ist groß und geräumig. Allerdings sieht das Bad und die Küche sehr abgenutzt aus, im Ganzen gehört die Wohnung mal wieder instand gesendet. Die im Internet beschriebene Ausstattung passt nicht mit drr tatsächlichen Ausstattung überein. Die Waschmaschine, das Bügeleisen und das Bügelbrett sowie der Grill fehlen. Sehr laut war auch das Geräusch von Garagentor, vorallem Nachts im Bett waren die Geräusche sehr unangenehm. Das Preis- Leistungs-Verhältnis hat unserer Meinung nach nicht gepasst.

The guests were very polite and respectful. They pointed out a problem with the listing description, as years ago I had removed both the washing machine and iron from the amenities offered, but these amenities were still listed somewhere in the description. So, even after I called VRBO to ask for clarification, I still offered laundry service. I first took them to a laundry with which I have a laundry contract. However, since they expressed concerns for some unspecified reason, we chose another where they felt more comfortable. Overall, although this is a purely personal rating, giving it two stars seems more like a whim than an objective assessment. I accommodated them and offered services that weren't offered because I empathized with their situation. In any case, I'm happy to have hosted them and hope they had a pleasant stay in Rome.

Sehr gut geeignet für einen Rom-Besuch

Die Wohnung ist geräumig und für die angegebenen 6 Personen gut geeignet. Sie liegt in direkter Nähe zur Metro und dem Bus, so dass man auch ohne Auto anreisen und viel unternehmen kann. Der Garten ist eine Ruheoase nach dem hektischen Stadttreiben. Die Kommunikation mit dem vermieter hat bestens geklappt. Jederzeit wieder und absolut empfehlenswert

Fantastic 2 month stay

We had a wonderful 2 months at the Vatican apartment. Nicolo was a fantastic host and was quick to help us navigate Rome. He was always available and had some great recommendations for local restaurants. The apartment had everything that we needed to feel at home for our stay. We would highly recommend this property and hope to stay there again.

This property is the perfect location to stay to visit the Vatican or take a tour of Rome. Very nice neighborhood with cafes, markets, shops all within walking distance. Nicolo is an outstanding host & went out of his way to provide everything we needed. Our 2 bedroom apartment had a lush private garden. Perfect to relax & unwind after a day trip. I would highly recommend Vatican Villa property to families or couples looking for a true Italian living experience.
