We had a wonderful stay at the waterfront studio. The view from the back porch was beautiful overlooking the bay. The unit had everything we needed. It was in a good location to visit many activities around the Bay Area.

10/10 experience - you won’t regret staying here!! Donna and Julie are great at communicating all the necessary info and have made the unit so inviting with everything you’ll need to feel at home. The incredible bay views and convenient ferry/BART access to downtown San Francisco gave a perfect balance of nature and city feel, and we especially loved the hot tub, great indoor bathtub, and dual shower for relaxing after long days. The bed was also so comfortable I never wanted to leave it! Can’t recommend this place enough, and hope to book again in the future!

Private Gem with Bay View

We needed a private little spot but wanted something lovely to look at. Julie and Donna's studio fit perfectly. The kitchen is tiny but very functional. Just mentioning as my husband's friend would have a squeeze in the space. We were fine. Loved the privacy, views, lovely hiking spots and block away beach access. We BBQ'd and played cards, sat in the wooden hot tub. 5 stars! And we will stay again. Great communication with hosts as well. There is one flight of stairs you have to take down to the garden level so if mobility is an issue you might have to consider if you can handle that. I just had surgery and held the rail going down. No problemo. It truly is a gem in Pt Richmond.

Absolutely wonderful 20th Anniversary weekend and first time in San Francisco. This property was even better than listed. The little things are what made such a difference….the cedar hot tub actually smells like cedar and gives a very “natural” woodsy vibe, the street with the views between every house, the art everywhere, the town square, the local market with the best sandwiches EVER, the wonderful hosts who even accepted my UberEats order after I missed the notification and made an effort to make us feel welcome……it goes on and on. I couldn’t imagine a better place to stay.

The pictures don’t even do it justice. Gorgeous relaxing views. Very private. So happy to have found this amazing gem tucked into a hill in a cozy little town across the bay from the city. Quaint and cozy but with beautiful and modern upgrades and everything you could possibly need to feel at home. Coffee and breakfast items were even provided for our convenience, which was perfect since we got in later than planned. Donna and Julie were the most helpful and gracious hosts. It was so wonderful that we extended an extra day because we just weren’t ready to leave. Would definitely love to stay here again! ❤️

Beautiful oasis with stellar bay views

My husband and I loved staying in this lower-level rental unit. It was fully furnished with everything we needed, had a luxurious bathroom, plus offered the bonus of a hot tub and beautiful patio area for our private use. It was a great spot to return to and relax after days spent exploring San Francisco and the Bay Area. Donna and Julie were super helpful and great to communicate with about parking, accessing the rental, using the hot tub and departure. So glad we stayed here!

A Beautiful Stay

I stayed here with a friend while attending a local conference. It is as beautiful in person as it is in the photos. The owners, Julie and Donna, texted on our first day to confirm our check in time and arrange to meet. Julie showed us around the property when we arrived. They live above the apartment, but we had plenty of privacy. They were thoughtful and left items for breakfast in the refrigerator. I needed some papers printed and Donna printed them for me. They were welcoming and happy to help. With being gone at the conference most of the daytime hours we didn't get a chance to enjoy the hot tub, but I sure did enjoy the huge tub in the bathroom! All of the linens are soft, cozy and smell wonderful! I found the bed perfect, with plenty of blankets and a variety of pillows. My only regret is that so many of my hours were spent away from this sanctuary.

We stayed here for two months in January and February. The apartment is perfect for two people. The kitchen is very small, but works. The bathroom is special with a claw foot tub, and the best double shower we have ever had in any room anywhere! There are two wonderful outside areas to sit, one is a brick garden area with a grill that we used a lot. The other deck is on the west side of the apartment, and is a fantastic place to watch the sunsets and pull a table over for dinner on the deck. Hot tub also on the west deck. The views from the bed are wonderful.The Richmond bridge is so pretty at night and the sunsets over the bay and Mt.Tamalpais are spectacular from inside and out. The house is nearly at the end of the street ,and is incredibly quiet. You can hike around in the hills and the Keller Beach area just moments from your door. Walking into Point Richmond is easy as can be.There are several fabulous restaurants and coffee shops in Point Richmond. The hosts are lovely and live upstairs. We have stayed several places in Point Richmond and this is a good one!!!

Things to consider

The property is unique in a good way, but I believe it lends itself to either younger people that are physically active or to a couple that prefers an intimate getaway. The roadway is quite steep and the stairs leading down to the unit can be challenging. View, accommodations, and atmosphere Are appealing.

Beautiful Views/Great Hosts

Donna and Julie were amazing hosts! Upon arrival, Julie gave us a tour of the place and made sure we were good to go. They left the hot tub on for us and gave us noticed when they were stopping by. We were able to see the golden gate bridge and the sunset. The studio was welcoming and we enjoyed every bit of our stay. There are restaurants and stores nearby in case you were missing something or just wanted some food. We hope to come back in the near future.
