A tour of the house
As you enter the home via stairs, you will find the heart of the home on the main level. The home is split across two levels.
The combined living and dining area is likely where you will spend much of your time, with those panoramic lake and mountain views as the backdrop. There is a heat pump to keep you warm during winter evenings, and it also provides cooling in summer.
Settle in with the smart TV and Freeview. If you feel like a quiet night in, there are board games on hand for relaxed evenings. When the weather is kind, step out onto the deck and enjoy the view with a coffee in the morning or a wine in the evening.
Next to the living room is the kitchen, which is fully equipped for cooking at home. It includes an oven, gas hob, microwave, toaster, fridge, dishwasher, and a French press for that important morning coffee. You are welcome to help yourself to tea and coffee, along with a starter set of pantry basics for simple meals.
The master bedroom on the main level has a comfortable queen bed, its own heating, and an ensuite bathroom with a walk-in shower. There is also a separate toilet downstairs for added convenience.
Upstairs you will find two more bedrooms. One has a queen bed. The other can be set up as a king bed or two singles, depending on what your group needs. Please tell us your preference when you book so we can have it ready for your arrival.
These upstairs rooms share a bathroom. Both bedrooms also have heating/cooling via heat pumps, so you stay comfortable year-round.
For longer stays and outdoor trips, the house includes a laundry with a washing machine and dryer, which makes it easy to keep gear and clothing fresh during your visit.
Onsite, there is free parking for two cars and unlimited Wi-Fi for all your devices.
Travelling with children
For families travelling with little ones, a high chair and portacot are available free of charge. Please let us know when you book so we can have them set up.
Local tip: Sherwood is about a 15 minute walk away via a shortcut and is a local favourite for coffee, brunch or dinner.
