Outpost: Hollyhock 2013

Hollyhock 2013 is a cozy two bedroom, one bath condo that is perfect for small group. The unit features a primary bedroom with a king bed and a second bedroom with a full / twin bunk combo. Curl up by the fireplace, or lounge on the porch and cook dinner on the electric grill. The unit's convenient location in the Aspens makes it the perfect outpost for all of your Jackson Hole adventures.

Teton Sports Club is closing for a year on October 1st, 2022 for renovations.

Please note that this home does not have air conditioning, as central AC is still an uncommon property feature throughout Jackson Hole. Fortunately, due to our elevation and mountain climate, we find indoor temperatures can be regulated by following procedures detailed in the guest portal provided upon booking.

*Please note that the National Parks Service has construction planned for Moose-Wilson Road, affecting the closest entrance to Grand Teton Park, the Granite Canyon Entrance. We have outlined the closures they anticipate below:

Through late July: open from 7 pm Friday to 7 am Monday, or the day after a federal holiday at 7 am.

Late July through the remainder of the summer: open seven days a week with possible 20-minute delays.

During the specified closures, access to the park is fortunately still possible through the main entrance in Moose. Please contact us for recommended routes

Great central location

Great location for Jackson Town Square, Teton Village and the Grand Tetons. Loved that there is a market, shops and restaurants within walking distance. Very spacious as well! We would stay here again!

Great location and access to all surrounding winter activities that we planned. Short walking distance to a market that supplied us with everything we needed to eat for dinner. The unit had a great kitchen with supplies for every type of cooking. Great views and a great host, will definitely be back!

Perfect Stay!

Communication from the start was super headache free. Property was very clean/cozy. Next to groceries, food, and less than a 25 min drive into the park. Building are old, so you can hear the neighbors, but it wasn’t bad at all. Would stay here again in a heartbeat.

Responsive hosts, it is a corporate owned property. After you book with VRBO, a company called Outpost will send you a bunch of extra contracts to sign. They email and test you many times before your visit and during. Very clean and nice.

Great place for a Teton vacation!

Condo was clean and well stocked! Great place for our family to stay. Kids loved the bunk-bed room! Nice to have laundry available. Kitchen was stocked with what we needed and the unexpected coffee was the bomb! Everything you need is close (groceries, gym, bike path, Teton Village, Teton NP). If you choose to eat in Jackson or really do anything there, leave plenty of time. It’s crowded! Also, this awesome condo is a bit difficult to find...follow their instructions

Perfect summer getaway and wonderful service!

My husband, mama and I retreated to Jackson Hole for three days and had the perfect time here and we're definitely coming back. From the moment we walked in, I felt like a treasured guest. Beautifully decorated, comfy beds, great open kitchen and spotless clean - it kinda felt like home! It's centrally located to Teton village, the square and hiking trails- just perfect. And you're right near the beautifully paved trails for cycling or running. Also, the Aspen market is just outside your door, and it's a foodies dream if you just want to pick up something easy and fresh for meals. Great restaurants and coffee shop nearby too! I can't wait to comeback for my next retreat and bring more family!

We had a great stay. Condo was exactly as described. Only hiccup is finding it- Google maps does not take you to the unit. However, if we had paid attention to the instructions, we would have found it easily so… completely our fault. Will rent again if we make back to JH.

Great Place

We had a small issue with not getting the door code, but received a call back quickly including the code. Place was clean and nice. The main bedroom needs a blackout blind as it is very bright at 5:30am, but otherwise the place is amazing. Nice towels, good kitchen and well stocked. We had a great time. I would caution that (as the pictures show) the upper bunk bed doesn't have a railing and we were not comfortable with our 3 year old sleeping up there. Probably fine for a bigger kid

Perfect location for a visit to Grand Teton National Park

This was the perfect location for a Fall Break getaway with our 17 year-old-son, close to Grand Teton National Park but away from the bustle of Jackson. The condo was recently renovated, nicely decorated, and clean. Our son loved having his own little room off of the living room. It was great to be able to prepare our own meals in the kitchen. The kitchen was adequately stocked, but it would have been nice to have a larger pot to cook soup or rubber spatula to scrape bowls, pots, and pans. It was not a game changer but would improve the kitchen to have a few more items. We would definitely stay here again.

Good condo, paper thin walls

The condo itself was nicely kept and had everything we needed. However, the walls of the condo must be paper thin and we could hear absolutely everything that the upstairs neighbors were doing. It didn’t help that they had three big dogs upstairs and at least three or four people who woke up promptly at 6 am every day. We would not stay here again.

Noise/water leaks

We stayed at this unit between January 6 - 14. The unit is exactly as described. The issues being the construction they are doing above, from the first day of arriving until the last construction was being done until 9pm sometimes. On our fourth night water started leaking through a light fixture from them hitting a water line above. That being a safety hazard I called the company again. They initiated a partial refund and was told I’d receive it with in 5-10 business days, I still have not received that refund. After countless back and forth, I get the same response. “ refund has been sent to XXXX card.”( still no refund) My advice would be to stay away from this unit, or at least ask about construction and noice before booking. After reading reviews I see that the noise issue is common and wish I would have done more research before booking.

Hi Troy, Thank you for taking the time to review your recent stay at Hollyhock 2013. While we are glad to hear you found the unit as described, we want to reiterate our sincere apologies for the issues you experienced. As our team communicated during your stay, we were aware that the unit above had previously been undergoing renovations however, neither our teams nor our prior guests had reported any activity for nearly two months, so we were under the impression that the work had been completed. Since we do not manage the neighboring home, we were not notified that the work was scheduled to resume, otherwise, we certainly would have notified you. We are so sorry again for the disruption to your vacation. We can confirm that the leak resulting from this project has been resolved and we have completed the necessary steps for mitigation to avoid any issues in the future. In response to the construction being carried into the evening hours, we have been in contact with the homeowner to ensure that the contractors are adhering to HOA regulations. Their bylaws dictate that any work outside of 8 AM - 6 PM, Monday - Friday, cannot exceed a decibel level of a regular speaking conversation, 60dB. All of this being said, we are hopeful that the project will be completed by the end of this winter at the latest. Lastly, we apologize for the added trouble following the provided refund. We understand that you had two different cards on file and the incorrect one was refunded. Thank you for reaching out directly so that we could resolve this for you. Overall, we want to thank your group for your kindness and understanding regarding the disturbances you encountered. We hope that despite these issues, you were able to enjoy your time in Jackson overall. Please do let us know if you ever return to the area.
