Upscale Guesthouse with Bonus Studio and Lush Garden

Welcome to your private refuge in San Luis Obispo!

This professionally landscaped property boasts a 900 square foot guest house and a separate 350 square foot studio. The 2 building have French doors that open onto a charming slate-tiled patio with a BBQ, umbrella covered dining area and seating area. In addition to the patio, enjoy a large private back yard with a lush garden and shaded seating area.

The guest house and studio are separated from our home by a privacy fence, and are accessed by their own separate driveway.

The guest house's bedroom is one the first floor. The guest house also boasts a full kitchen, full bath, and a sitting area with gas
fireplace and TV. The loft also has a desk/office space, large TV and sleeper sofa.

The studio has a comfortable sleeper sofa with a memory foam mattress. The studio also has a kitchenette, full bathroom, gas fireplace, and TV.

We are located in the beautiful and safe Sinsheimer neighborhood, less than 2 miles from downtown San Luis Obispo. When you are not enjoying the idyllic weather in your own private outdoor spaces, branch out and explore the city’s “municipal country club” just a short walk away. Sinsheimer Park has tennis courts, volleyball, frisbee golf course, baseball fields, a pool, YMCA, playground and parks for you to enjoy.

Or you could also walk down the nearby bike path that takes you to all the shops and restaurants downtown! San Luis Obispo is a special place with easy accessibility to wonderful beaches, wineries, hiking, biking, surfing, kayaking, shopping, restaurants, and more.

There is no smoking on our property, and pets are not allowed. We have kids ourselves and also border an elementary school, so you can occasionally hear the sounds of kids playing during the day.

We cherish the opportunity to host and will be available to make your stay in San Luis Obispo as pleasant as possible.

Lovely guesthouse!

The guesthouse was exactly as shown in the photos. It was adorable and very clean, and I loved having the extra studio for some friends who joined me for a few days. Eric was a wonderful host. He came up to greet me when I arrived and was very responsive when I contacted him with questions. This is a residential neighborhood with kids and dogs and a school nearby. Also the area is quite hilly, so I got an extra workout when I went biking and walking. Overall, it was a wonderful stay and I enjoyed my time there.

Great Summer Get Away

This is the third time we have rented this property. So private, lovely courtyard and back patio. Great for morning coffee and afternoon wine. With temps in the 70’s .. so much to do in SLO .. tennis, golf, pickleball, hiking, biking, beach, wine tasting, shopping and eating !!
