Beautiful cottage & lovely views

The cottage was super clean & comfortable for my husband & my home base as we visited Yosemite. Bob was very helpful with any questions & suggestions for hikes. We also enjoyed visiting nearby Bass Lake. We’ve never stayed in a place with so many amenities provided such as wine, olive oil, condiments, seasonings, bug spray, sunscreen, and much more.

A beautiful stay in the mountains

My wife and I thoroughly enjoyed our stay! The house was very clean, and we loved the heater in the bathroom! The house had some wonderful views of the surrounding mountains and was very quiet. We also enjoyed the great view of the stars. Would definitely recommend.

Everything we could have wanted

This was a perfect property for our stay near Yosemite. We felt tucked away and we were about 45 minutes from the mariposa grove Yosemite park entrance. We enjoyed grilling on the deck and watching the stars at night after our days in the park.

The cottage was great! Spacious, well maintained, clean and the bed was comfortable! The grocery store a mile or so from the cottage was very lacking, but it wasn’t a bad drove to the grocery stores in Oakhurst to get what we needed. Thank you for letting us stay!

Awesome quiet place to get away!

This place is lovely, quiet, and very comfortable. We had everything we needed while staying here. The stargazing and sound of the rushing river near the property is amazing. It's off the beaten path in the country. It is a scenic (under 1 hour) drive north to Yosemite south entrance. It's also a fun 1/2 day trip to hike Kings Canyon/Sequoia National Parks south of here. There are also other areas to hike close by and the owner was very helpful in directing us. Coming from busy Florida, this place was a great getaway!

Exceptional Property

We flew into SFO and opted to pick up the bulk of our groceries at Vons Grocery in Oakhurst. They have very good specials, a nice selection of everything, and their produce was fresh. The house is in a convenient location, about halfway between Yosemite and Sequoia National Park. It has views to die for, and Bob, an experienced and gracious owner/host, has thought of pretty much everything. We really appreciated having: a grill, washer/dryer, numerous outside sitting areas, an abundance of towels, a well-equipped kitchen, some starter supplies, and an immaculate place to rest. We can't wait to return!

Beautiful and Cozy Cottage

This was a beautiful place to stay. It was comfortable, private, quiet and clean. The views of the hills and trees was very peaceful. We arrived very late at night, and I had a bit of a fall on the walkway, where it was dark (the walkway lights stay on until about midnight). Bob (the owner & host) was very helpful, accommodating and communicative. The property is located in North Fork, approximately 1hr & 45min from the Arch Rock/El Portal entrance to Yosemite National Park, and about 45 min from the South entrance at Mariposa Grove. The drives are very pretty and in October, it was not crowded at all.

Great place.

This cottage is one of the best properties ever stayed in! Beautifully furnished, comfy bed, everything you would need is supplied - and a million dollar view from every window!! Bob was super to work with. It was a great place to come home to after a day in the park.

Great place for 2 with beautiful views!

Loved our stay in Bass Lake area. Bob is a great host and checked in to see if we had all we needed. We were close to Yosemite and went there a few times while we stayed at Bob's place! We will return some time in the future to see more sites.
