Spacious 3-bedroom unit in a two-unit beachfront duplex, located directly behind the landlord’s summer home. Enjoy partial lake views, your own designated beachfront patio set, direct beach access, gas grill, picnic table, fully equipped kitchen, smart TV with YouTubeTV, Wi-Fi, and walking distance to local entertainment.

Please note:

Shared property – landlord’s unit is in front and next door for any requests.

Bring your own towels, linens, blankets, pillows, paper products, cleaning supplies, and perishables (linens available upon request for an extra charge before check-in).

Bathroom is on the second level of both units.

Family-friendly atmosphere, ideal for those looking for a lively beach spot (not a secluded or private lot).

Great Weekend Getaway.

Traveled to Sylvan Beach for a birthday. We enjoyed our stay at this place. Very clean and close to the beach. The beds were very comfortable and plenty of seating for our group with the couches and large table. Loved that we had a place on the patio, a picnic table close to the door and a grill. Thank you for sharing your place. Can’t wait to plan another stay.

Sylvan beach rental

Good space. Beach is just down the street. Many restaurants walking distance. To note, waterfront patio featured is not just outside the rental. Not far to go but it, and the beach, are not pet friendly.

Thank you for your review. The description does state that this is a shared lot and the rental sits behind the landlord's home. It also does state that pets are not allowed on the beachfront patio, but they are allowed in grilling area and in the unit. During the summer months they are also allowed in the water. And there is a great park across the street for walking them.

Wonderful weekend stay

We, along with other members of my family, were in town for a wedding. This home was conveniently located to the venue - we were able to walk to and from the wedding. The home is comfortable and was perfect for our needs. Reasonably priced, the owner was very responsive to any question we had. Beach access is great, and walking on the beach very relaxing. Overall, we had a great weekend stay (Thursday through Sunday) and would highly recommend this property.

Nice place to relax. Not right that pets aren't aloud on the beach front by table so the pets had to stay locked in the house. Over all clean except for silverware, strainer,oven, coffee maker.

Hi Rodney, thank you for your review. I am sorry some items were not properly cleaned. My team has done an extra clean on all of those items listed. As far as dogs access goes the only spot on the entire compound they are not allowed is the beachfront patio where 3 houses merge together. This is to respect each residence in that one shared space for several reasons. The dogs are allowed outside their unit in the picnic/grill area, and have sidewalk access to the beach/water and park directly across the street.

Sylvan Beach 2024

Sylvan Beach is little known gem in central N Y. We live about 1 1/2 hour away…yet this was our first overnight! Although I was expecting to see the lake from my rental, our rental was behind the owners house. This property was on Oneida Lake and was. very convenient to the village activities. Walking distance to everything. We drove to area antique shops and casino. We ate locally and the food was very good. This rental had 3 bedrooms with very comfortable beds and ceiling fans. Although we were on a very busy street, the noise was minimal. I would def recommend this property.

Great family weekend

Lets start out by saying we all had a great time! We were a little dissapointed that the beach wasnt right outside the door as portrayed. It was only a couple hundred feet down a sidewalk between 2 houses. You are able to see the beach but the main view is of the yellow house infront of the rental. The owners were amazing and super easy to get in contact with. The price was great Everything was tidy and was very roomy. My only thing I would change about the home itself would be the staircase. Its steep and the steps are smaller than avg steps and a child could fall through the railing. We had a great time and would definately recommend this to others and love to come back again when the weather is a bit warmer.

Amazing!!

This house was so nice and clean. It was decorated nicely. The main level is nice and open. All rooms are a great size and the beds where so comfortable. It is in the perfect location with a beach a few steps away. It is with in walking distance to a few restaurants. It has a convenient park right across the street to walk your dog. Everything was perfect and I will definitely rent this house again when in the area.
