About the host
Hosted by Eric & Alice Whitehouse

Getting out of the Houston metro area and into nature was our focus when we found this land. It is a work in progress that we enjoy. We enjoy fishing and the outdoors. Also, gardening, canning, and baking when we aren't traveling. Our favorite designation is Maine.
Presently we have two border collies and we can count the wildlife that routinely comes through the property. We have a red tail hawk that guards the garden. Deer come through twice a day. They like to hang close to the edge of the woods.
We have found over the years that staying where you have the opportunity to cook your own meals, get a good night sleep, relax and unwind makes for a great trip.
We appreciate you coming and hope your stay is pleasant.
