Sand Diamond Villa is a prestigious newly renovated villa on the private powdery white sandy beach of Jimmy Hill. The villa is named after the beautiful sand that it’s surrounded with. If you are looking to get away from it all with privacy and tranquility this is the place! The villa sits at the end of a “cul-de-sac” away from the noises of the Queens Hwy. You can spend days without seeing a soul on this 2 miles long beach. After you landed, it will take only 3 minutes drive to reach your paradise!

The main house, with its open floor plan and cathedral ceilings, has 2 master bedrooms (king beds) each with its newly renovated bathroom. There are 2 bedrooms on the second floor with sloping ceilings. One with a queen bed and the second one has 3 single beds. Those 2 bedrooms shares a newly renovated bathroom.

The new bunk room consists of 2 adjacent bunk beds, with double mattresses at the bottom and single mattresses at the top. There is also a loft area to allow children to play without being disturbed by parents!

The house comes with plenty of toys for kids of all ages! Like 2 kayaks, a paddle board, body surf boards, snorkel gear, footballs, Frisbees, beach toys, etc... There is also many beach chairs to enjoy your happy hours on the beach! If you prefer comfort and shades we have an extended set of lounging chairs and sofas. You can enjoy our 30’ x 30’ covered gazebo by the beach or you can use the outside (covered porch) dining table that can accommodate up to 10 persons.

Rest assured to always be in good hands since our management company, Fun In The Sun Exuma, is looking after villa and our guests.

It is only 10 minutes away from the most scenic ocean-side golf course in the Caribbean at Sandals’s Emerald Bay golf course! There is a lot’s to see and do on the island!

Everything about this stay was excellent. checkin was seamless. Interior and exterior of property was very clean. Had everything we needed to make our stay for 10 perfect. kitchen had anything you would want to cook with. Plenty of towels for all. Jack and Jill bathroom for two master bedrooms was odd but the property and its location on an almost private beach made it a non-issue. Maybe an umbrella for use on the beach would be a nice addition but still a 10 out of 10.

Excellent Choice!

After researching many areas and houses for this trip we landed on the Sand Diamond Villa and we clearly made the right decision! The home and property were everything we were hoping for and the location was perfect. The home had everything we needed plus some. This house was even more spacious than we imagined and the bunk house was a perfect area and felt like our own private house. The views out of the back of the house were amazing and the pool area is beautiful. I highly recommend this house and we will be back!

Lovely Villa with comfy beds and amazing views

The villa is in a very convenient spot & the beach was absolutely stunning! Endalyn from the management company, was extremely helpful & quickly responded to questions/needs. High winds during our stay, made the ocean very ruff. We wanted to use the pool, and had to request the pool temp be increased because it was very cool. Endalyn was very responsive, and the temp was increased that day. There were no body boards on the property, luckily we were able to purchase a couple in George Town. The many amenities were great! I do have to agree with another reviewer that the villa could use some TLC. There is a large gap at the bottom of the front doors. Endalyn informed me the Villa has a spraying system for insects. Unfortunately, the master bedroom facing the pool did have a few unwanted insects. I kept hearing odd noises coming from the wall air conditioner, waking me every night. I thought the unit was breaking. One morning a large dying cockroach was found on the floor. The next night I flipped the light on with the noise. 2 roaches were peeking out of conditioner, and excrement was located on the wall below conditioner. I slept with the lights on every night after, and not well. I know roaches are prevalent on the island! However, shouldn’t be in a “prestigious” villa. Unfinished areas around upstairs air conditioners, some baseboards need attention, lg crack on wall, driveway crumbling, etc. I would recommend renting a jeep, for rough roads on the beautiful island.

Family getaway

We came as a family of 9. With grandparents and kids. We loved our stay. The access to pool and beach proximity is amazing. The secluded beach felt very private. The house had everything we could have needed and the house manager was super helpful with any questions. We loved the proximity to town. The grocery store is nice and close but everything is sooooo expensive. Plan to bring things like garbage bags, laundry detergent, paper towels if you can fit it, dry grocery items and snacks. While it’s accessible to buy the prices are double/triple for some stuff. The island itself doesn’t have a lot to do. Unless you are planning excursions or are good to just hang at the house most days. Anywhere you go plan to wait a really long time for your food. Like 45min-1hr. However, there were definitely a few things that shouldn’t be an issue for the price of this house per night. - The internet is rough. There is no internet in side house. And we just couldn’t figure out how to get the tv working in bunk bed room. - The grill does not work. The igniter doesn’t light and there was no information that you have to use a lighter to get it working. It’s no big deal to use the lighter just wish we knew this ahead of time.

We recently stayed here with 6 adults and 2 toddlers and we had a very relaxing stay. The house was equipped with everything you would need. We were able to make several meals. The beach was absolutely gorgeous and the pool was lovely to use during the day. Thank you for the hospitality!

The most amazing vrbo we have ever stayed at!!!

This place is absolutely perfect in every possible way! We enjoyed coffee and mimosas on the beach every morning. We played games at night at the spacious dining room table and cooked several meals in that beautiful fully furnished kitchen. The beds were comfortable and the bathrooms were spacious. The very small complaint is the pool needed to be warmer after the sun went down. We enjoyed the pool while it was sunny but later in the evening it was too chilly. The beach and ocean are spectacular! A day hasn’t went by since we have been back that I haven’t thought about that beach.Everything about this place was all you’d hope for in a dream vacation! I can’t wait to go back!!!

Fabulous!

We had the most wonderful family vacation at this beautiful home and property. Everything was exactly as advertised. The coffee maker suddenly stopped working and the property manger, Endalyn (fantastic!) was there right away with a brand new one. Kids, parents and grandparents were constantly in the pool and at the mostly deserted beach! We truly did not want to come home. Thank you Marie-France for a fabulous Thanksgiving holiday!

Perfect house for quiet family vacation!

We traveled with 4 adults and a 13,12,9, and 3 year old. The listing and pictures were accurate. Off the main house and a separate back and side door was two bedrooms and shared bathroom, but it was perfect for us. Everything was clean and having the pool was a great break from the ocean, especially for the kids. The kitchen was great and had all the appliances and utensils you would want.We would highly recommend this house! Endalyn was the property manager and she was wonderful and communicative.

Amazing Stay in Paradise

Our family had an incredible stay at the Sand Diamond. Thank you for sharing your home with us. We enjoyed dinners around the very large dining table, playing games in the living room & cooking meals in the great kitchen! Our favorite place to relax was the gazeebo overlooking the ocean! The beach and ocean were stunning. The kids loved having the pool to swim in once they got tired of the waves! We loved our time here & will definitely be back!

Spacious Villa for the Family with a Beautiful Beach

San Diamond Villa was perfect for the 10 of us (included 2 families and 2 moms/grandmas) and 1 toddler. The house was equipped with a pack and play and high chair which was great! It is centrally located on the island. About 25 minutes from Coco Plum Beach and 45 minutes from Tropic of Cancer. The house was literally down the street from the airport and a 15 minute walk on the beach to Tims on the Bay. This was my families 3rd time to the islands/ and to be honest, we never really had to leave the house. The beach was beautiful. One of the best beaches on the island in our opinion. Having the pool was great to use before and after the beach to wind down. There was more than enough towels and even blankets for cooler weather or lounging inside. The kitchen had everything we needed and more! We cooked every day and never felt we were missing an item. The appliances including the washer and dryer are new. We never went without electricity due to the generator. House held up wonderfully during the quick storms. Beds were super comfy. We slept great! Endalyn was very responsive to all our emails while at the house. AC worked great. So good we were cold sometimes. The canoes and paddle board were a huge bonus. Honestly, this house was super comfy and safe. We felt very homey while staying in paradise. P.S. Bring bug spray!

Celebrating a birthday

We surprised a family member with a birthday gift to the Bahamas! They had a cake and decorations all set up when we arrived and the cake was amazing! The house was beautiful and very clean. The weather was 80 and sunny and all went smooth! Thank you for sharing your beautiful home with us!

Great House on an Amazing Island!

This house and the island were perfect for our family of 6 adults and 4 small children. We have been to over fifteen different Caribbean islands and Exuma is now at the top of our list for laid back vibe and breathtakingly beautiful beaches. Sand Diamond villa is perfectly located--so close to the airport, 10 minute drive to the closest grocery store, and on a gorgeous long beach that is practically deserted most of the time. The beach even has a beach bar/restaurant to visit. The kitchen was well equipped and there was plenty of seating for our group both inside and out. Beds are comfortable and bathrooms are very nice with great towels. The house is exactly as pictured and Endolyn, the manager, was wonderful and very responsive. We had an issue with an air conditioner in one of the bedrooms, which we could have worked around, but she sent out a repairman that same day to fix it. We had Vibe Exuma deliver dinner to us the day we arrived and Chef Gavin Nottage prepare and serve a dinner for us one night and both were wonderful. I would highly recommend both! We also had a wonderful day exploring other cays on boats that we rented from Minns. The only issue with this island is that there are some type of biting bugs so bring bug spray. Also, when you go to the grocery store stock up well as we learned that they do run out of some items and are unable to re-stock until a ship arrives. We will definitely return to Exuma and hope to rent Sand Diamond Villa again!

Really recomend the place! We were a family of 11 adults and 1 baby. Everything was wonderful! The house is fully equipped with everything you need for your stay, the beach is one of the best we ever seen! Had to rent beach supplies! Close to many places. Endelyn the house manager is so friendly and helpful. Helped us with everything we needed at any time! PLEASE COME TO SAND DIAMOND!

Incredible place that needs some TLC

The location of the rental was perfect. It is several minutes from the airport and centrally located on the island. It is a short drive to Georgetown and also a short drive to the north for many other options. The property has so much to do and so much to offer. The pool, the covered lounge area near the beach and being so close to the ocean was wonderful. There is plenty of water sports supplies for use as well. Inside the home, they have virtually everything you need. There is plenty of room for large parties and the kitchen was stocked very well. The home itself needs some TLC. We had two A/C units that didn't work great and shut down at one point during our stay. Two of the doors didn't function very well and we had a member of our party get locked inside the separate living quarters. This was a bit of a safety concern. However, Esther, the property manager, was incredibly helpful and responsive and very sweet to deal with. There are obviously some limitations due to being on the island so certain parts/pieces may not be readily available. Overall, we absolutely loved our experience and can't wait to visit the island again.

This is paradise!

Look no further, this is paradise! This home was perfect for our family vacation. It had everything we needed and it was very organized and clean. The layout and amenities made everyone happy from grandparents to kiddos. The pool was serviced several times during our stay, the property manager was very responsive, and the beach is breath taking. We did cook most meals and the kitchen is well appointed. On two nights we had Chef Cat from Vibe (@vibeexuma) cater meals which I completely recommend! Overall this was a family trip to remember and it wouldn't have been SO AMAZING if this house didn't live up to the listing. It sure did!

Week in paradise

Our family had an amazing week! The house and property was gorgeous. The house was fully equipped with everything a family could possibly need. The snorkel gear, paddle board, kayak, and beach chairs was a major plus and greatly appreciated. We loved exploring the island and meeting the locals. The Sand Diamond Villa was such a gem in a great location. Highly recommend and would definitely book again!
