Great family house.

House accommodated our family of 10; there was plenty of room. First impression was dirty carpeting especially on the stairs but house overall was clean. Issues with blinds, refrigerator, ice maker and garage door. Office was very responsive.

Cleaning and maintenance

Hello The house needed more thorough cleaning in everything. Sheets were old, kitchen equipments were dirty, curtains missing. Fireplace, lights and speakers were not working. We paid everything as requested but really all these items should have been taking care before arrival. I believe we should get some kind of compensation for all these items. Messages were sent to the property manager.

Dirty and not fully stocked

The house itself is nice if only given a little TLC. When we checked in we had to clean the BBQ before we could use it, we had to clean the patio furniture and deck before using, the railing on the upper deck was loose and dangerous. The carpets were filthy in the whole house, broken bar stool in kitchen, stove had gas but no igniter, we had to purchase a lighter to use it. The house had only 5 coffee cups (we had to have our morning coffee in shifts) , bottom oven was locked and we couldn't unlock it, left side of the toaster didn't work, and the bathroom door upstairs lock was broken.. The layout of the house was great with the 3 levels, it worked out well for our family, the parking was very limited.

Terrible Cabin

No hot water in shower. Fridge froze food. Oven took two hours to cook food. Pool table cues were not usable. When turning on heater by the time the main room got warm the down stairs was unbearably hot. Semen stains on sheets. Toilets for 10 year olds. Broken toaster. Balcony unusable due to 4’ snow. Main bathroom door would not lock. Washer and dryer didn’t function well. Leaks in the second floor ceiling. No Netflix on all but one TV. TV in master bedroom tiny 15’ from headboard. Dishes were dirty. Terrible management company did not advertise property properly. Poorly maintained cabin. Do not recommend.

Everything was broken

The property is very nice but nothing worked! We had trouble with most of the TVs the downstairs one doesn’t even work. We even had someone come out to look at the property and said that it was just broken. He fixed another tv in the room and as soon as he left the tv wouldn’t connect to the internet anymore. The oven would not get hot. The lasagna that my aunt had made never cooked. We had pizza for dinner :/ the dishwasher was also broken which sucked because there was about 10 of us. We also had to check out pretty early and when we asked for an accommodation since we had a not so great time, they gave us till 2 which was okay I guess but everytime we called they were just sooooo rude. Like unwilling to assist and just mean for like no reason. I mean helllooo you work in customer service??? Anyway, usually have great stays with HomeAway but this wasn’t one of them.

Thank you for your feedback! We do apologize for the inconveniences with the televisions during your visit. We did make efforts to fix these issues, although we do understand that one television was out of order for the whole stay. Unfortunately, we do not have local TV repair, and did have to wait for a replacement. That television is now working again. We were unaware of any issues with the oven or dishwasher until this review was posted. We have now taken the opportunity to check on both the oven and the dishwasher, but we found no issues with either of them. We do always strive to provide the best customer service, and the best way to improve on that is guest feedback, so we do thank you for providing just that. Lake Tahoe Accommodations
