We have stayed in this apartment 3 times. It has everything we need and the bed is comfortable. It is also a very convenient location in a quiet neighborhood. A short walk leads to a small fairly private beach.

This was a great place to stay and go out from. The apartment itself is nice and clean, though it has some small space quirks. It was perfect as a home base for us to rest, eat, and then head out for exploration. I highly recommend Harris Beach and Chetco Point park. Both are SUPER close and absolutely beautiful! This apartment is nicely laid out and well furnished and equipped..Everything works. And the kids in the neighborhood were friendly on our walks to the nearby beach. The location was near the core of Brookings for dining and shopping and what have you, but far enough away to keep the apartment quiet inside and out. Just right for a couple of retirees.

A good location, a dark and damp feeling apartment.

The apartment we stayed in was well-stocked and close to downtown. The place was cutely decorated and had many recommendations for local establishments. The bed was also comfortable. My complaint was that the place was somewhat dark, and musty. It felt damp and we had to open the windows for fresh air. Because it was dark it was good for sleeping, but we did not want to spend any time cooking or hanging out. Overall it fits the bill, but we wouldn't stay there again.

It was a good experience overall, the only downfall was when we got there... The bed had a damp feeling to it the 1st night since the windows were open when we got there. I'm assuming the humidity from the rain and ocean came through. But, besides that was a great place!

Great launch for Smith River Hiking

This property was easy to find, hosts were very helpful and welcoming, and suggested great local restaurants to enjoy. Only suggestion is improving speed of hot water reaching the shower. Enjoyable stay that made for great hiking experience exploring the beautiful Smith River area.

Great place, needs attention

Location is great. Quiet neighborhood near center of town. Casita was good. Parking was good. Cute fixtures and good amenities. Heater needs maintenance and could use a TV for those expected rainy days in Brookings. Could have been cleaned A LOT better. Found used and dirty cookie sheet in oven and dishes weren't cleaned properly. Dust and buggies. Would definitely stay again if said issues were fixed and we appreciate the use of the rental!

Great beach town location

Although there was no view of the surf from the apartment, the location was excellent for exploring Brookings and finding necessities close at hand. Plenty of space for 2 people.

This place was extremely misrepresented. The exterior of the property was shabby: old truck in the driveway, yard in need of care, only place to sit outside was an old rusty ice cream parlor table & 2 rickety chairs ( up against the house) & your car was to be parked right up against it. The interior had no space to sit comfortably. The bedroom had a sofa at the foot of the bed. NO TV. The actual apt. Space was under the house. We left & rented a motel room.

Beautiful Weekend by the Shore

A perfect get-away for two! Spacious, clean, and gorgeous bathroom fixtures. The decorations are beachy and fun. There is also lots of natural light coming in. A bit of a walk to the shore and to restaurants, but we had fun strolling about. Would reccomend a dead-bolt for the inside. While the neighborhood seemed safe, added security is always a huge comfort for us. Overall, it was exactly what we needed for the weekend! :)
