Missing a Few Amenities

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was clean. I was very happy with the location. I was satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The cottage was clean and in general, a nice property, however, there were a few basic items missing. There were no dressers in the bedrooms, except for the loft, so everything had to be placed on the floor. There were no towel hooks or bars in either bathroom, so we had no where to hang towels. Also, only one bath towel per person was allotted to us and the shower curtain liners were filthy. I’ve owned rentals myself and know what is needed and believe they need to reassess.

Do NOT Recommend

Rating Details: The property manager was more than helpful. The vacation rental was somewhat dirty. I was happy with the location. I was somewhat dissatisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: It's a nice house and just as pictured, but the cleanliness needs work - ROACHES! We stayed here 8/9 through 8/12.After moving in I found straw wrappers under the bed in reachable distance in the second bedroom. I also found an old sock in the trash bin in the loft upstairs that didn't belong to us.Most important, this house had LOTS of cockroaches. The first night here we killed at least a dozen roaches, one of which was half the size of a mouse! I called the management office and asked for pest control on Tue, 8/10 and confirmed they put in a work order that morning at 10:08am, but we still had roaches even on the day of departure.Additionally we were not provided a trash can to take our trash to the street for collection. We were told to take it out the night before departure because the trash is picked up at dawn. So we had to take the trash bags and place them on the lawn by the curb without a container to put them in.The house is beautiful, but I didn’t plan on making friends with roaches. It’s obvious that the cleanliness here is only surface level, if that. We will stay somewhere else next time. Do NOT recommend.

Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Putting green eas in terrible shape. Nothing like the picture. Too far away from restaurants. Never replaced blinking light in bathroom. Entrance code took 3 times before we could enter and only after my daughter went to the office.

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We enjoyed our weekend getaway at the cottage - very spacious for the 6 of us. One suggestion as mentioned by another reviewer would be to get blinds for the remaining windows in living area and upstairs loft. Thanks!
