Welcome to your luxurious waterfront retreat on Lake Austin! This stunning 4 bedroom, 2 and a half bathroom home is the perfect vacation rental for those looking to indulge in a little bit of luxury. The house is elegantly furnished with high-end finishes throughout, featuring a fully stocked gourmet kitchen, a cozy living area, and a dining room with a table that seats up to 7 guests. The home is located at the end of Lake Austin near Mansfield Dam and makes for a quiet and peaceful stay.

Step outside and you have two decks to choose from that overlook Lake Austin. There is a boat dock on the water that has an upper deck a fire it and cleats for guests to tie up their own boats. The closest boat ramp is located at Mary Quinlan Park at the end of Quinlan Park Rd in Steiner Ranch. Spend your days fishing, swimming, or simply lounging on the deck while taking in the stunning lake views.

The master bedroom features a king bed and a private, luxurious bathroom with a soaking tub and walk-in shower. Two additional bedrooms downstairs have a queen bed in one room and a twin over double bunk bed in the other, sharing a jack and jill bathroom. The bedroom upstairs has a queen bed. The home accommodates up to 9 guests with a maximum of 6 adults allowed.

Sadly, we lost our large palm trees to the winter storm in 2021. So the large palm trees you see in the pictures are no longer there. We were devastated! They were beautiful!

Relaxing Getaway

Fantastic Rental on the Lake

We loved staying at this property (and our kiddos loved it as well!). Great location on the lake. Amenities were awesome and the house was very tastefully appointed. We especially loved hanging out at the dock both nights of our stay. Would absolutely recommend and hope to do a repeat if we come back to Austin in the future.

Perfect lake house retreat

We enjoyed everything about this property! The lake is chilly, but refreshing in the summer and less boat traffic than other parts of the lake. We enjoyed being able to bring our boat and leave it tied to the dock. The house is perfect for two families. Easy check in and host was very responsive.

Awesome Weekend on the Lake

This is a lovely property, right on Lake Austin, with a boat dock. The views from the boat pavilion are lovely and the there is a small beach which makes getting into the water extra easy. The top floor of the house is open plan; great for families and get-togethers. The kitchen dining and living area all open to a second floor porch. Downstairs are three bedrooms, another porch, and access to the lake. A great place for fun and relaxation.

Austin Lake House

Beautiful home on Lake Austin with great outdoor patios. Upstairs - Bedroom, a half bath, great kitchen and dining area that overlooks the lake. Downstairs - 3 bedrooms, jack & jill bath, incredible Master, W+D. Large covered patios with fans - Upstairs & Downstairs - great view from Upstairs patio. Use of 2 stand up paddle boards was very appreciated by our 2 kids!! Nature trails just down the street. Great escape for us!!

Stunning lake house with a Texas state of mind

This beautiful house is a gem! You'll feel a world away from the city in this peaceful location. The house fit my family easily with plenty of room to spare. We spent every afternoon eating and drinking on the breezy porches before moving down to the upper deck of the boat dock for more relaxation. The house was spotless, stocked with everything you could need and the beds were incredibly comfortable. The host was super easy to work with. I will absolutely rent this house again for my next Lake Austin vacation!

Spacious Lake Austin Retreat

We had the pleasure of staying at Montview Harbor for 8 nights during the summer. The house is new and feels purpose-built; all of the rooms orient to the lake in a delightful way. Since the house is situated on the top of the canyon slope residents enter onto the top floor which houses all of the public spaces of the house (living, dining, kitchen) as well as one of the bedrooms. Downstairs are the other three bedrooms and entrance to the terracing that takes you down to the lake. The lake side of the house is continuously covered with porches and terraces which provide ample opportunities to be outside but also shielded from the sun. On the lake is a boat house which provides multiple opportunities to hang out on the water. We brought our kayaks and it was simple to launch them due to the sand beach adjacent to the dock. The boat house is outfitted with very comfortable furniture; we spent most evenings having drinks there while we looked at the night sky. Due to the location of the house on the lake breezes were reasonable and we were comfortable more than we thought we would be in the Texas summer. The yard between the house and the lake is fenced which worked out great because the owner graciously allowed us to bring our dogs. The interior of the house is charmingly finished; wood and stained concrete floors, concrete countertops and high end appliances create an atmosphere of casual Texas elegance. My family has rented Lake Austin house multiple times and Montview Harbor was the most enjoyable / comfortable experience that we have had.

Annual Epic Wakesurf Trip at Stunning Property

This house and property are lovely! My husband and I take our college aged nieces and nephews for a wakesurf trip each summer and this house was absolutely perfect! So much space, beautiful luxurious bathrooms, comfy beds, gated area for our dogs, and the boat dock was perfect for sipping wine and viewing the moon! Great trip and we definitely will book again!

Beautiful location

While we experienced some maintenance issues with the property they were all items that could easily be remedied with a good maintenance review prior to the next rental. We found the location and views perfect for our family and the kids loved the waterfront access for the kayak we brought with us. Cynthia was responsive when we reached out and although the maintenance issues couldn’t be fixed during our stay we still enjoyed the family time and property. The home has some beautiful upgrades and views to relax and the lights on the deck were a nice relaxing touch for evenings.

Why they chose this property

The first time we saw this home, we knew we had to purchase it. It is amazing. The view, the decks, the kitchen! The shallow water is perfect for our dogs and our children. It is tucked away in a little quiet neighborhood on Lake Austin but it is still close to the city.
