Charming 3 bedroom lakefront home nestled on the shores of Wind Lake!

Newly updated home on 936+ acre "all-sport" Wind Lake. You'll have your own private pier/sandy lakefront to swim, fish and enjoy our beautiful western-facing sunsets from our signature red bench! We take great pride in offering a clean, modern and comfortable vacation home for you and your family to stay while enjoying the lake and visiting the surrounding Metro-Milwaukee area. Our lakefront cottage combines a peaceful and enjoyable "up north" setting yet provides easy access to many attractions in the greater-Milwaukee and Chicago areas.

The eat-in kitchen features a modern gas stove/oven, refrigerator, microwave, Keurig coffee maker, dishes, pots/pans, cooking utensils, toaster and an assortment of pantry items. Enjoy the lake/yard views from the oversize dinette windows! Brand new, full-size main floor washer/dryer (detergent/dryer sheets included) and bed linens are provided with your stay! Everything is ready for you up on your arrival!

Wi-Fi, movie library and smart TV offer plenty of indoor entertainment. If you're looking to unplug, we offer board games, puzzles and cards as well! Looking to take in the outdoors? Relax by the fire pit or on the bug-free screen porch overlooking the spacious western-facing yard.

Our 50+ feet of sandy lake frontage is very suitable for swimming. Steps along the shoreline offer easy entrance to the lake. Two kayaks and stand-up paddle board (SUP) are included in your stay - area boat rental available as well. Be sure to catch our amazing sunsets too!

Croquet, bocce ball, horseshoes, bags and other yard games are included! We are located near many restaurants, shopping, golf courses and local bike trails. This is the perfect location for guests who enjoy local amenities, swimming, fishing, water-sports or just wants to relax!

Please note that we are looking for guests who will be respectful of our neighbors, as the home is in a residential area.

Delightful

My family enjoyed our stay. We had little ones that had room to run both inside and out. The cute little porch was perfect due to the blustery weather. Since we were there mid April we were didn’t get to enjoy all the lake had to offer. Maybe next time. The host was very helpful and easy to work with.

A wonderful home and a great host

The Red Bench Cabin was a lovely experience. The host, Sara was extremely accommodating. My wife and I traveled with a toddler and she was extremely helpful and conscientious. All of the outlets were covered, the stove was 'toddler proofed' despite the best efforts of my son, and she even brought in toys and books. This was one of the highlights because he was able to play with new toys and we were able to relax. It was a great visit.
