Lovely home and great views!

The home and property were beautiful! Secluded and quiet, yet everything we wanted within 15 minutes or so: town, kayaking, hiking. The house was well maintained and clean. The gardens were cared for and in bloom for our visit, definitely a plus!

Great stay- our entire group enjoyed relaxing in this home as there was plenty of space to spread out. We also really enjoyed hiking and exploring the land outside.

Friends & Wine Weekend

Our group of five 60ish women loved this rental. It had so much room for all of us and the grounds are just beautiful. Located close enough to downtown Naples and the area wineries and breweries. Everything was perfect! Highly recommend this property! We plan on going back in 2025!

Things to look for regarding your cleaning service

First, we had an excellent time – your property is outstanding! We just felt obligated to tell you a few things we noticed – most probably by the lack of attention by who cleans the house. Some items noted – first, the bathroom waste baskets were not emptied, there were tissues, etc in them. Secondly, the ice machine in the fridge does not work and the fridge was not cold upon arrival. This may not matter to most but we had a previously prepared pulled pork dinner and were concerned about the temperature of the fridge, we put the items in our coolers and were able to transfer them to the fridge Saturday morning. In one of the upstairs bedrooms, we found mouse droppings on a blanket that was stored in one of the drawers. Now, I own a house in the Adirondacks and TOTALLY understand about “critters” in every single possible location but this may need to be cleaned before others use the facility. Lastly, when we open the stove to heat the aforementioned pulled pork dinner, there was food remaining in the oven (several taco shells). Nothing here is a show stopper and we’d very much like to rent the facility next year, it was that enjoyable, others may think differently. Overall, everything else was excellent, we enjoyed our time there immensely, thank you.

Love the mountains, hate the well water and mouse

This would have been a lovely place back in its prime. Beautiful creek and flowers. Close to the lakes, and lots of space. There's a little updating that needs to happen. The inside wasn't as clean as I would expect. There were mouse droppings on the kitchen counter, and when I contacted the owner about it (they were easy to get a hold of), they said that it had been cleaned that afternoon (doubtful). They also said they would send pest control, but we never saw anyone. The next night we did see the mouse scurrying in the kitchen. Hopefully it will be addressed before the next guests. The biggest disappointment was that all the water is from a well, and I think it's important for guests to understand this before booking. The well water makes the showers and toilets dirty (we cleaned the toilet ourselves because it was black when we arrived). The water stinks and we didn't feel comfortable drinking it or using it for cooking. It was also difficult to tolerate showers with the well water because it smelled so bad. The host kindly left bottled water for us to get started, acknowledging that the water doesn't taste good. I will note some discrepancies in the description: -THE WELL WATER -The bridge over the creak is broken and unpassable. -They mention that it fits 12 people in the description (it does), but they only allow 10 people in other parts of the listing. -They mention a garage, but it's not for parking your cars. Apparently it's off limits.
