Cass Bay Retreat close to Christchurch

Modern 4 bedroom house with great sea views of beautiful Banks Peninsula from every room and a rural aspect behind the house with all rooms on the same level. Parking on the flat behind the house or on the turning bay. Large deck on the front of the house with plentiful outdoor furniture. Gardener keeps the property in good order.

Modern appliances and comfortable beds: 2 King Beds; 1 Queen Bed; One King Single. 2 Bathrooms, with one being the master bedroom ensuite, containing a shower and bath. Separate toilet.

Our house is 5 minutes drive from the Lyttelton village and 20 mins into the centre of Christchurch. Local walks abound. Wake up to gorgeous views and birdsong.

Cass Bay Retreat

We really enjoyed our stay at Cass Bay Retreat. The house was huge and the views were fantastic. We particularly enjoyed the deck overlooking the bay. Highly recommended.

A really lovely place to stay

Thanks Viv and Rob for a wonderful stay at your delightfully appointed house. There was nothing left wanting and we enjoyed every aspect of it. All the bedrooms were spacious and the beds comfortable. The living area was delightful and made day tripping almost a chore as We didn’t want to leave the view. Thank you for sharing with us

House with a view

The pictures of the inside of this house don't do it justice, it was a lovely bright space with wonderful views over the bay. A perfect place to simply relax or entertain with a BBQ overlooking the sea.

Perfect for what we needed

The property was booked to accommodate 4 co-workers and was absolutely fit for purpose. Very spacious, quiet and comfortable place. Very helpful, friendly and response host. Highly recommended and will book again for any future stays!

Fantastic property with panoramic outlook

A well appointed and very private property that offers a very comfortable stay. Considerate and responsive hosts make this a very easy property to recommend.

The house was purpose built for us in 2006. At the time I had my leg in plaster and so the house has been built with wide doors and showers for wheelchair users. Only 2 small steps to get into the house from a drive that runs right up to the front door- wide entrance. We currently live in Singapore but our daughter looks after the property.
