Highly recommend

The cabin was immaculate when we arrived, perfect vacation spot. We enjoyed having the dock so close and just a short walk down to go swimming. All the other guests at the resort were friendly also. Great place to stay, we will definitely book again.

Perfect place to relax

Absolutely love this location, the cabin was exquisite, above and beyond what we expected, the lake and docks were literally yards from the cabin. The only issue we had was the beds but it's seriously hard for me to find comfort in any bed, I have a complete lumbar fusion. Overall I would highly recommend and we will definitely be coming back...

Perfect Lake Getaway

This is our 5th or 6th year staying here. It was perfect as always. The cabin was spotlessly clean with a well stocked kitchen. The included boat slip is awesome since we bring our boat every year. The neighborhood is quiet and safe. Everyone is extremely friendly. We love that the cabin is pet friendly. We like the picnic table and seating area on the deck. We take our family out on the boat and there is plenty of room to grill and have dinner after getting off the water for the day.We absolutely love staying here and look forward to our visit every year! If you’re looking for the perfect lake getaway, this is the place.

Perfect Get Away Cabin

The listing is exactly as described. We stayed Wednesday - Monday. I had to work on Thursday and Friday and the internet worked just fine for me. We brought our boat and the dock is just a quick minute or two walk from the cabin. The cabin was well stocked with dishes, glasses, and pots and pans. The deck was perfect for morning coffee and dinner after a day on the lake. I highly recommend this cabin. We will definitely be back.

Great Lake property

Perfect place perfect price

We loved the cabin unit, very clean and comfortable. The boat dock use was exactly what we need for our pontoon. It was a pretty location and you can’t beat the price for a place to sleep and boat slip. We will definitely return!

Family vacation 2021

This is our second year staying in this cabin. They really need to update the pictures. They have gone in and done some really nice updating on the floors, the bathroom and put a second window unit in one of the bedrooms. With the addition of the second ac unit the cabin stayed very comfortable the entire time. It is stocked with a nice number of pots/pans and dishes. The boat slip that comes with the cabin is nice, but it’s the closet to the shore and for a very large barge or boat, maybe a little bit tricky to get in and out of.

McKinney Family Vacation

Our cabin was very nice and plenty of room for our family of 5. We weren't used to sleeping on a soft mattress like the mattresses in the cabin. As we both have back trouble we left a day early because of our backs hurting us. I would recommend Devil Fork's Resort to family and friends to stay at. I would have to let them know that the mattresses are soft though. Overall we had a good time with our grandkids.

Misrepresentation on VRBO

VRBO makes the pictures look like the doc and the water are in the back of the cabin. We expected to be on the water, which is what our mini-vacation was all about. VRBO misrepresents what you are actually renting. Not good! I would much rather deal wth the owners. They were very nice.
