About this property

This vacation home is located right in the heart of the Texas Hill Country on beautiful Lake Buchanan. It is in a quiet and gated property and provides a relaxing environment, perfect for a couple’s trip, a family reunion, a business get together or a friends get away trip.
This is a family friendly waterfront property that offers 2 other lake houses, a “3 Bed 2 Bath House (fits 8 people)” and a “1 Bed 1 Bath House (fits 4 people)”, that can be rented individually or together as a duo or trio to better serve our guests’ group size. The property also offers plenty of parking space for vehicles and boats.
This lake house is a spacious 3 Bed 2 Full Bath home. Bedroom #1 has a queen bed, bedroom #2 has a queen bed, bedroom #3 (master) has a queen bed/crib and a queen air mattress for extra guests. There are also 2 bunk beds and a ping pong table in the den. Bathroom #1 has a shower/tub combination, sink and toilet. Bathroom #2 (master) has a large tub, shower, toilet and 2 sinks.
It offers a spacious living room with a couch, a loveseat, 2 chairs, a 50-inch Flat Screen TV with DVD player and Dish Cable TV. It also has a fully equipped kitchen and a laundry room with washer & dryer. We also offer Unlimited Verizon Internet and board games for the raining days. Outside guests can enjoy the shaded wraparound deck that offers a gas grill (propane provided) and a charcoal grill.
The house capacity is 10 guests (adults and children) comfortably sleeping in beds. If more accommodations are needed, guests can rent one of the other lake houses on the property or pay an extra guest fee of $25 per guest per night, up to 2 extra guests and bring them along.
The property also offers plenty of outdoor space with shade trees, outdoor seating, hammock, picnic tables, fire pit, horseshoes, 13 x 9 Water Pad, a 317 Feet lighted & covered concrete fishing pier, sandy beach, and boat tour to the waterfalls.
The lake is swimming friendly and gets deeper gradually so it is perfect for small kids.

Please note, Lake Buchanan is not a constant level lake, and at the time of your visit the water level may differ from what is depicted on the listing.

Tranquil getaway

Our stay at this lake house was delightful. The serene surroundings offered breathtaking views and peaceful moments. While water activities were limited due to low water level, we enjoyed exploring the shoreline and nearby trails. The cozy accommodations and tranquil atmosphere made for a memorable retreat. Highly recommended for a relaxing getaway with friends and family.

Family Vacation Fun

Returned for another great vacation. The lake was down which made for great beach fun and still able to launch the boat for fishing. Pier still a great place to relax and enjoy the view. Enjoyed the accomodations and park. Reserved for next year! Hosts live onsite and always assist if needed.

Very clean and relaxing. Quiet environment, which was nice.

We enjoyed our stay. House was nice and clean. Like that it had covered porches. Disappointed that lake level was so low. Unable to fish off pier. Able bodied persons could walk on beach area to water but not able to get wheelchair user there. Highly recommend for anyone wanting a nice, quiet place to relax.

Great location!

House is right next to the water. While the water level is currently low with no recent rain, we were able to get out and set up right on the water, float in the lake and do some fishing as well. Love how clear the water is! Enjoyed playing horseshoes and using the fire pit! Thanks so much!

Great Family Vacation

Lake was down this year but it produced a great sandy beach for family to enjoy. Fishing on the lake was awesome. Spacious well equipped house..beautiful view from deck and pier. Owners live onsite and are always available to assist as needed. Looking forward to next year!

Mike is 100% Texan. He grew up in Giddings, out in the country. He is a Jet Boat Mechanic; he builds jet pumps for performance boats.
Wiviane was born in Brazil, and she is a paramedic. They both love the lake life. They also live on the property, so they are available to make sure the guests feel welcome and are comfortable.

Why they chose this property

The first time they visited Buchanan they fell in love with the lake. The beautiful lake Buchanan offers so much. There is so much fun reserved for fishing lovers. Boating also has its place reserved and no matter how busy the lake is you will never feel crowded. Swimming in Buchanan's water is a recharging exercise, they are "healing waters" some people say. Above it all, just watching the lake gives such a peaceful feeling.

The peace and quiet provided by this property and the beautifulness of Buchanan were decisive factors that made the owners fall in love with the place.
