Beautiful Resort

My family of 5 stayed at this condo for one week. It was tight. I would recommend this size of unit for a couple, or maybe a couple with one small child. The unit had everything we needed. The washroom could have been a bit cleaner (we needed to wipe down the tub and floor ourselves) but overall the space was clean. The bedding did not fit the beds, so that caused us some frustration. Don provided us with clear instructions for check-in, etc, so we felt comfortable. The Akiskinook resort and facilities were amazing. Everything our family needed for a wonderful vacation.

Beautiful area and resort

We really enjoyed our time in this area and the Akiskinook resort. There was some confusion and disappointment as the ad had stated that there was a new pool for our use but it was not open. We understand that this is a result of permit issues and covid. Some advance warning that the pool would not be open or not advertising that there is a usable would have been appreciated. The property manager kindly offered to pay for our family to go to the Radium Hot Springs pools. They were so incredibly busy we could not get in. Further, there are additional fees not expressed with in the ad. The property manager will call to charge your credit card for the GST in addition to the payments already made.

Great stay!

Always enjoy the Akiskinook resort. This unit is second on left as you enter, and green areas next to building offer amazing mountain views. The unit was very clean and nicely cool in the hot weather, and had everything we needed. Great set up for parents with young kids, except just watch them outside as deck faces a steep slope. The host was easy to contact and very responsive. The only reason for 4 stars is that the unit could use some decor updates and definitely a new pullout couch that can be comfortably used.

Wonderful holiday

Our small family (two adults and one child) enjoyed this Condo. It met our needs for a 2 week stay. The kitchen was well stoked and we cooked every night. We used the BBQ on hot days! I was worried about no air conditioner but we managed with fans! It is a quiet location and the walk out level was lovely with the patio. The pool and hot tub were not opened which was a disappointment. We are planning to come back again.

Family week at the lake

Great location and too many activities to mention. We love the resort with the beach and marina. Awesome family location and a great condo. The kitchen was well equipped and the condo was a perfect base for the activities in the valley. We fit 5 in without a problem. Would definitely rent again

Amazing, very quiet vacation

We loved it so much that we ended up adding a day! The Rec center has a pool, squash, air hockey, ping pong, fooseball, free wifi (the apartment doesn’t have wifi). The tennis court area has basketball nets (with a basketball usually lying around), playground and tennis court. There is no place to borrow or rent racquets, balls for tennis or squash. The suite also has a washer/dryer that was a pleasant surprise!! We went to radium hot springs, zip line, and the go carts/mini golf. All which were a lot of fun. There is so much to do on the resort that we barely left (which saved us a lot of money). The kitchen has everything you would need. Views of the lake and mountains wer beyond amazing. So peaceful and relaxing spending evenings on the deck. The only complaint we had was there is a cliff approx 10feet from the ground level deck. Making it a little dangerous for the younger ones. Besides that, everything was great. The apartment was very clean and well stocked with many towels, sheets, blankets, etc. We can’t wait to return next year!!
