The only saving grace of this property was that the pricing was appropriate for the neighborhood and it was close to the convention center. However, we were disappointed with the service. There were many issues with the property being neglected including; missing or burned out lights, broken window, broken blinds, only 2 rolls of toilet paper provided, other promised items not available, laundry room door would not close (safety issue), carpets and furniture were dirty, chair leg broken, sink disposer smelly and broken (at least my husband could fix that), etc.
The first or second day we reached out to the manager to get some bulbs and inform her of the issues. She was slow to respond and then didn't follow up on her promise to have light bulbs brought by (they also expected us to fix the issues ourselves). I own a vacation rental myself, so I really tried to give them the benefit of the doubt, but by the end of the stay, I was pretty disillusioned. The pictures just don't match the actual property.
I don't downgrade them on the neighborhood as they price it accordingly, but visitors should know that it is a sketchy area before booking. I think it would be fine for a guy or a few young people, but I didn't feel comfortable with my toddler, Mother in Law, and baby being there.
Overall, if I had to do it all over again, I wouldn't stay there. I would just pay the higher fees for a better rental. I would only recommend this for someone really looking for an inexpensive place to stay.
