Lakeview Escape at Tenkiller is your home away from home. Escape the busyness of life with a great view of Lake Tenkiller from inside looking through the two-story floor-to-ceiling windows or from outside on the 500+ square foot upper deck. This large, serene, log cabin boasts all the comforts of home and more from a fully equipped modern kitchen, a gas grill on the patio, a full-size ping-pong table in the screened-in breezeway and a large wood-burning fireplace in the 2-story vaulted living room.

Enjoy your morning coffee on the large deck overlooking the lake, always keeping an eye out for the deer and other wildlife that like to frequent the 2-acre wooded property.

Once the lazy day gets going, you can enjoy lounging around the house or deck, play one of the several games or work a puzzle we've provided, or just catch some rays. Spend the afternoon at the beach a few minutes away or at Tenkiller State Park which offers a great swimming pool, playground and hiking trails. You are also only 5-minutes to a boat ramp if you bring your boat with you. Other options are to enjoy the waterfowl and wildlife viewing at Sequoya National Wildlife Refuge. or you can enjoy a drive to Tahlequah for a canoe adventure down the Illinois River.

Enjoy your evening with a home-made meal on the back deck, once again overlooking the lake and watching for wildlife or try out one of the many unique restaurants this area has to offer.

Then, gather the family around the fire pit for some smores or to just watch the fire and reminisce about your day.

After a full day of fun or relaxation, escape back to the cabin for a wonderful night of sleep in one of the many cozy beds in this large, family friendly, log cabin.

Some of the features of this cabin are:
- 4 bedroom, 3 bath cabin which sleeps up to 14 people (no more than 11 adults)
- 3 of the bedrooms have king-size beds, the upstairs bedroom has three bunkbeds.
- Great view of beautiful Lake Tenkiller can be enjoyed while lounging on the deck, sitting by the outdoor firepit making smores or inside warming by the fireplace. We provide the marshmallow sticks you need for the smores!
- Large patio with plenty of comfortable outdoor seating and a coffee table fire pit as well as an outdoor heater and large umbrella.
- Baby friendly with crib, highchair, baby monitors and safety gates everywhere!
- For your entertainment at the cabin, we have internet, four smart TVs with Direct TV, horseshoes, corn hole, several games/puzzles and a ping pong table in the breezeway as well as several toys for your little ones.
- Late October, we enclose the breezeway and set up heaters so you can still enjoy the room.
- Cabin is fully furnished with linens, towels, and a fully equipped kitchen. All you need to bring is your food, drinks, clothes and favorite toiletries.
- Another bonus is that the cabin is beautifully decorated at Christmas!

The host requires you to complete the following before checking out:
Load and start the dishwasher
Gather used towels
Remove personal items, remove leftover food and drinks and take out the rubbish
Turn off the lights, lock the doors and return the keys
Put deck cushions in the three large deck boxes (only if dry). If wet, place in breezeway.
Fold ping pong table and put away
Put outdoor umbrella down and secure with strap.
Failure to complete these may result in a negative review from the host.
Separate electronic rental agreement, sent directly by owner, must be electronically signed within 48 hours of making the reservation.
Photo ID must be sent to owner within 48 hours of making the reservation.

Our family met to celebrate Christmas and a birthday. The cabin was decorated for Christmas which made it extra special. It was so cozy and had a beautiful view. The bedrooms were so comfortable. The entire place was extremely clean with safety precautions in place for the toddlers.The grand kids did not want to leave! Out of all of our stays in STRs, this was our favorite! The owner was also quick to respond to emails and has supplied the cabin with all the necessities. I highly recommend this place for families to meet and enjoy some time together.

The Escape at Tenkiller was absolutely amazing! The home was very clean and they have thought of everything needed for a wonderful, relaxing stay away from home. We had a wonderful stay at Lakeview Escape! The cabin was very clean and stocked with all your needs. The owners/property managers were very helpful and responsive during our stay. We had 6 adults and 8 children (ages 8-16) and had plenty of space for everyone to sleep comfortably. I take my kids and grandkids on Spring Break every year. This property is at the top of our list of places we've visited. The view from the rear deck and living room is absolutely incredible. Lakeview Escape is our home away from home. It is the home we had always dreamed of having, where we could look at the lake and escape the everyday busyness of our lives. We are excited to share our dream with you.

We live in southern Oklahoma and drive past other major lakes to get to it, but it is well worth the drive! The view from this cabin with the forest covered hills surrounding the sparkling blue water is hard to find anywhere else in Oklahoma. It truly is our dream home away from home.

What makes this property unique

The view of the lake inside the house through the wall of floor to ceiling windows or from out on the huge deck is awesome regardless of the season. The lake is always blue whereas some lakes often look brown. In the fall, the colors are beautiful. The home has such a cozy feel with a lot of wooden walls and ceiling. The quiet wooded setting just makes us feel like we have escaped from all the busyness of our everyday lives every time we go there .
