In the midst of a park of age-old olive trees and fruit trees, the villa overlooks a vast garden full of luxuriant vegetation and fragrant flowers of all species and colours from all over the world. For your privacy, secluded spots equipped with hammocks and swings will offer you a delightful setting for your moments of relaxation.

The villa is few minutes by car far from the heart of Lecce and is ideally situated to reach the nicest beaches of Salento in just a few minutes’ drive.
Nearest beach is only about 6km. 10 min. drive - 'Cesine' Natural protect area WWF


The Villa offers 6 comfortable and finely furnished apartments, each offering utmost privacy and tranquillity.

The apartment is equipped with individually-controlled air conditioning, fully equipped kitchen, hairdryer in the bathroom and color TV. Cots for babies are available on request.

Lovely well located property.

A really lovely property. The facilities were very good. Well located to see a variety of places. Paolo was very welcoming and gave us lots of ideas for trips out. A great place to stay.

A wonderful oasis in south Puglia

We (family of 3) spent 5 nights at Villa Diana in early June 2011. The accommodation was great, lots of room, good cooking space. The pool and surrounds are great. We spent hours each day in the pool which is enormous, before heading off to explore the Salentina peninsula. It is close to Lecce by car. It is quiet so was perfect for us. We had been traveling for 8 weeks by then and were happy to have a break from the hustle and bustle of staying in towns. Diana and her husband made us feel very welcome.

Beautiful farmstay in the center of Salento

Villa Diana is beautiful, the premises are huge, immersed in nature, with a great pool, a lot of art work around, a tennis court, possibility to play table tennis, soccer etc. The hosts are super nice and always available for any type of request. The owner, who created the place, is lovely. The location is great if you have a car, and want to visit Lecce, Otranto and other places around. Without car it's very difficult to move. Absolutely recommend this stay

Un petit coin de paradis

Superbe domaine avec une location décorée avec goût et originalité avec de très beaux matériaux. Magnifique piscine commune aux locations et à la famille. Nous n'avons pas profité du terrain de tennis ni de celui de pétanque, mais ils sont bel et bien là, et en très bon état. Pas loin de Lecce mais au calme, comptez une petite vingtaine de minutes en voiture pour accéder aux plages. Que de belles soirées passées à préparer nos petits plats à base des nombreux légumes et aromates du magnifique potager. Donc, si vous voulez visitez les Pouilles, l'endroit est certainement à considérer.

Séjour septembre

Domaine très beau, très agréable et maison bien aménagée. En plein septembre le domaine était très calme. Par contre 1h à pied pour rejoindre Lecce. Voiture indispensable vu la localisation (20 min de Lecce, 20 min de la première plage). Un peu déçue par ce point, l’annonce indiquait 5 min à pied du cœur de Lecce. Amis des bêtes vous serez les bienvenus (chats et chiens).

We are just a few minutes by car from the center of Lecce which can also be reached with our bicycles in about 15 minutes. However, we are near the center of the village of Merine where essential services such as supermarkets, pastry shops, bars, are located. thanks Paolo

Delighted with our choice of accommodation and greeting by Paola.

Arriving at Bari we firstly had a message from Paola giving clear map directions via Google -allow at least 2 hours by car from the airport. The accommodation was on 2 levels which was a pleasant surprise as was the welcome pack of foodstuffs. Grateful too for the map of Lecce and Puglia given to us - none provided by the car hire company. Two nice restaurants in Lizzarello - Li Mori and Villa Pins. Good base for visiting much of Puglia and south managed Otranto and St M Leuca and north Ostuni and Alberobella. Apart from a strong wind for much of our week, the weather for end of September was fine low 20's. All in all a very pleasant stay.

We loved it

The grounds and swimmimg pool were very nice. You can pick your own tomatoes, Figs, peppers pomegranates and more. Very quite area and only 10 minute drive into Lecce. We parked just outside the city and walked in saving parking fees. Walk was about 15 minutes. Lecce is stunning. One small downside is the size of the apartment. I choose the old stone building but it was very small. Perfect for just 2 of you. In hindsight of should of chosen the slightly bigger one with the mezzanine. But other that that it was a fantasist area to stay and will go back one day for sure. There is also a nice Resturant opposite the villa. And local shops close by.
