Comfortable, cool and spacious, calm and stress free. Excellent information, very helpful and responsive, good local shops and decent basic restaurant nearby - and one exceptional example, Carèm. The local wine festival was great!

Very enjoyable stay

The house was very spacious. It was very clean. It had a lovely private garden/ orchard and although the pool was not big it was good for cooling off. There was a cafe next door and a bakery next door to that. There is a supermarket about 3mins in the car away and there are a few local restaurants. We only ate at one, Il Sogno.. Not a huge menu but a very good meal. Communication with the host was good. Good outside seating, could maybe do with more comfortable seating inside. A very pleasant stay.

Roomy, elegant apartment ideal as a base for exploring. Martina was available at all times via WhatsApp and helpful, although it would have been useful to have some recommendations of places to visit in advance or at the property. Local shops and a good supermarket in walking distance.A few issues need addressing (I would normally send these privately, but Vrbo seems to have removed that option):Payment was direct - when Vrbo warns against doing so! Then they needed a deposit of 400 euros either cash or bank transfer - which was paid back by bank transfer. I have never been asked to do this before - if a deposit is required most providers would use a credit card - for a UK visitor, having to change money twice just for a deposit is galling.The property is in need of some attention: the outside table had no shade for daytime, and no lighting for the evening - and had uncomfortable banqueting chairs! Parking was behind heavy metal doors, which had no way of propping open - scary when it was windy & driving a hire car. Self catering was difficult as there is no work surface or storage other than the (large) fridge freezer. All the saucepans were very large, as if catering for a crowd, and yet there was just one small stovetop coffee maker, loads of small cups - and one mug! A tray, a kettle/small saucepan and some normal sized teaspoons needed.Air-conditioning: the unit serving the bedroom faced the corridor, so we never got the room cool (however, it was a very hot week).

Das Haus ist grundsätzlich eine Perle. Uns haben die Räume sehr gut gefallen. Der Garten mit seinen Orangen-, Feigen- und Walnussbäumen ist sehr schön und idyllisch. Leider sind die Möbel in die Jahre gekommen, recht abgenutzt, defekt und sollten repariert oder erneuert werden. Marina, die Eigentümerin des Hauses, war super lieb und hilfsbereit, hat schnell auf unsere Anliegen geantwortet und bemüht, Lösungen zu finden. Ihre Putzhilfe hat uns nett empfangen und ein sauberes Haus übergeben.

Nous avons beaucoup aimé le lieu, le magnifique jardin, la terrasse sous les figuiers et au bord du bassin. La maison est très belle, authentique, avec une immsense hauteur sous plafond, une déco hétéroclite et les pierres apparentes. Le lit principal est très confortable.
