Only 5 minutes drive to University of Alberta/hospital, NAIT, Royal Alex Hospital, Kingsway mall, VAI Rail Passenger Train Station and 5 KM to Rogers place/hockey Arena. Easy access to Yellow head trail and Anthony Henday highway drive. 11 km to West Edmonton Mall and Commonwealth stadium. Close to shopping center, Pubs and restaurants.
YOUR BEDROOM: Your private suite contains a cozy queen and a double-sized beds.
ROOMS have large windows for natural light
LIVING ROOM has a smart TV for you to watch your favourite movies 24/7. A couch and air mattress for additional guests to sleep.

We enjoyed our stay in Mary's VRBO. It's a small basement suite, but it's clean and it's very fairly priced. The biggest thing to be aware of is that there is no stove. The ad doesn't mention one, so there is no lying, but just so people don't assume there is one. There is a microwave, so you can heat things up that way. Overall, I have no complaints and would recommend the VRBO to others.

The place was clean enough, close to where we needed to be. Small basement suit. Beds were ok. 4 people would be a tight fit. The first few nights were quiet, the last night the upstairs guest were noisy and could easily be heard. The biggest problem was when booking. The see more button hid the owners request for photo id. I’m not sure why I had to share my home address, height, weight and eye colour when my credit card had already been collected. I would have cancelled but the return policy was only 50% back. Book at your own risk knowing these details.

Nice and Clean Basement

A nice and clean basement with all the necessities. The basement appears just like it does in the photos, and communication was simple and quick. The host provided us with detailed directions on how to get to the property and left us with useful notes. Host is also flexible with check-in and check-out times, which was helpful. This property was ideal for our visit to Edmonton. Everything was clean, and exactly as described on the site. The space suited our needs exactly, and was very quiet in an nice neighbourhood. We had no problems with any aspect of our visit, but Mary was available every time we contacted her for any small matter. Very pleasant experience overall.

Excellent clean property in a very peaceful neighbourhood

We really enjoyed our stay at this property. The property is very clean with comfortable beds. There were enough towels in the bathroom for the whole family of three to use. The property has also a washing and dryer machine. I also appreciate it that the owner left some toiletries to use. The bathroom has hot water. I would recommend this basement to anyone who is looking for a short/medium-term rental.
