- Deck chairs
Suitability
- wheelchair inaccessibleSofa bed is wider than a twin but narrower than a double so two people would be VERY cozy! $15/n. fee for 3rd OR 4th person but only put in 3 people when booking and just advise us that a 4th person is staying so we can put extra t.p. and coffee K-cups out. Also two bikes are available on-site for rental fee of $15/wk or length of stay if shorter for BOTH. Combo to bike lock provided upon payment. If you use the heat-focusing patio heater, please put the focusing "lamp" back to the flat position when finished with it (wind has blown it over when in slanted focusing position). Children are allowed entirely at your own risk as this home is NOT child-proofed in ANY way! Several ice trays are provided (filled before your arrival). Blender is just a hand-held mini-mixer but it'll still mix up a drink or cake.
- Long-term renters welcome
Pool / Spa
- Spa whirlpool"Cowboy" soaking tub fed entirely from the all natural mineral water well, temp. controlled by you with hot/cold faucets. One set of red/blue faucets controls the "spa" and one controls both showers.
- Outdoor pool
- Private poolThis is NOT really a pool but a 6-foot diameter "cowboy" soaking tub, but it's listed here because the water temperature can be set as low as 75 degrees. This makes it great for splashing around!
- Heated pool
Notes
- Massage is available at several establishments; some masseurs will bring their table & set up on the patio. NOTE: 8 trees including pecans, pine, palm; lots of evergreen shrubs & bushes; some grass! Hook up the sprinklers & "let your inner child run free". Nature & water combine to attract creatures like birds, water beetles, cicadas, cucarachas, bees, squirrels etc. You MAY see these anywhere on the property. If you are allergic or nature freaks you out, lodging in the north end of town away from the river might be better suited for you. IN THE SHED: Wet/dry vac, ladder, 2 bikes, tire inflator, 2 coolers & folding beach chairs you can take to the lake if desired. Easy to keep bike tires properly inflated w/Ryobi feat. PSI auto-shut-off. 2 flashlights and a few AA & AAA BATTERIES are available, IF NEEDED. We've made every effort to make this the respite you need, whether that's just lounging here or sightseeing in the area. USE THE DIRECTORY! Lots of good info in there.

Ask a questionAbout Celeste Rich
T or C resident since 2006. Artist/Wedding Officiant/Online retail shop owner etc. I created Aquarius Soak & Chill to be the stay-cation respite I am looking for when I am able to stay there between bookings. So it's full of colorful, cozy touches and all kinds of above-and-beyond amenities to make everyone's stay extra-special. When I'm not involved in all those endeavors, I like to travel myself. I love being in and around water and enjoy deep water aerobics, snorkeling, white water rafting and a gentle float down the river. When not traveling or busy with all that, I really like hangin' with my bffs, drinking some wine or a few beers and shootin' the breeze. And laughter is always in there somewhere, no matter what I'm involved in!
Celeste Rich purchased this Cottage in 2017
Why Celeste Rich chose Truth or Consequences
I loved this property from the first time I saw it, due to the legal natural mineral water well with flexible water temp (not just HOT water), as well as the innate character of the property--such as the original punched tin ceilings, lots of windows for natural light, large private back yard with a mix of mature trees and evergreen shrubs. It was just waiting to be updated and properly furnished to become an amenity-rich getaway. I really enjoy spending time here as my 'stay-cation' place in between bookings to my fabulous Guests.
