About this property

A beautuful area with two separate newly-built maisonettes, right on the beach in the area of Xifias. It has stunning views of the sea and the historic rock of Monemvasia. Sleeping with the sounds of waves will relax your mind and soul, while the sunrise from your balcony will be an unforgettable experience.

The ground floor has a fully equipped kitchen (refrigerator and dishwasher included), a living room with a fireplace and a bathroom. In front of the living room there is a large balcony door from which you can go out for swimming at the beach. The 2nd floor has two bedrooms (one with sea views and one with mountain views) and a bathroom. The entrance of the house is on the 2nd floor. The house has also an open parking which can fit up to two cars.

Restful seaside spot with incredible views

As advertised, this is a 2-level, 2-bedroom apartment literally steps from the sea. A steady breeze blew over the Aegean as we stared at Monemvasia. Beds were comfortable. There are two bathrooms, and a kitchen we barely used. Nice outdoor seating and table. A great place to slow down and enjoy the view. Just a few things to know ... the beach is rocky and the waves 1-3 feet high so it's different from some beaches ... no wifi and cell service is spotty ... about 10 minute easy drive to Monemvasia and there are closer good restaurants. Host was very communicative. Only glitch on check in was that we don't speak Greek, the host was in Athens, and his mother (who lives next door and doesn't speak English) seemed quite baffled by our arrival, but we worked it out. This appears to be a newer listing. You'll want a car here.

great location

The house is actually an apartment (the owners mother living in the other, completely separated part of the house. There is direct access to a pebble-beach and the crystal sea. Monemvasia is just a short drive away with its restaurants, supermarket and everything else you might need. There are many other typical Tavernae very close to the house, offering wonderful food, so you do not really need the kitchen, which could be stocked a little bit better. Many small beaches are close by, easy to reach, even Elafonisos is just a 30 min. drives away. The owner is always ready to be contacted and extremely helpful with all questions. Definitely highly recommended!

The house is built right on the beach. It is very close to main attractions and one of the world's most famous beaches (Simos beach in Elafonisos) is only 35 klm away from the property.
