This is a somewhat rustic, somewhat homey, comfortable 20 year old cottage in a lakeside community. It's not perfect, has it's character (like we all do) but our guests find it charming and sufficient for travel needs. We do our best to ensure VIP guests have a carefree stay in a reliable home with comfortable amentities. You'll find the home is exactly as pictured with the offerings and expectations.

We invite you to enjoy the lake and wildlife, with a cold beverage on your private deck, or an evening of movies and games. It’s great for a weekend, a week, or a month; ideal for alone time, business travel, or to share with family and friends.

Plus, enjoy special amentities like fiber optic internet, Roku enabled smart televisions, and a deluxe, state of the art Jacuzzi J-235 hot tub.

The space:

Fully furnished 2-bedroom, 2-bath cottage that sleeps up to 6, with a king and 2 twin beds, along with a premium air mattress. You will have access to a full kitchen, two bathrooms, washer & dryer, and a living room stocked with 25 board games and 30 movies.

You will appreciate the tranquil serenity of the private deck following a fun filled day on the lake, trip down the Bourbon Trail, world famous horse farms, infinite Louisville attractions, or other sites the beautiful area has to offer. Then unwind in an incredible hot tub under a night sky filled with stars.

Guest access:

Includes resort pool, sand volleyball court, fire pit area and playground. Charcoal grill on the cottage property. You may rent a pontoon or fishing boat at the Taylorsville Lake Marina. There are hiking trails where you can walk down to the lake.

No parties or events without approval
Check-in is anytime after 3PM. If you’d like to arrive a little earlier to get settled, simply check in advance.

Damage: Accidents may happen. We understand that. Please let us know when they do. Chances are we can fix them as effortlessly as possible. It betters the chances of having your full security deposit returned.

Do not leave trash inside or outside. Please dispose of trash in the dumpster located near the Edgewater Resort office.

Due to safety, guests under the age of 21 must be accompanied by parents or guardians. Do not leave children unattended

Noise: To be considerate of others, we kindly ask to keep things on the quieter side after 9:00 PM.

Security: Do not share the gate or house code with anyone outside your party. The area is very safe, but we want to ensure your stay is safe and problem free.

Check out is by 11 am. Security monitoring begins within two hours of check out when guests are no longer onsite.
