Great place - relaxing location

We stayed here for 12 days. Relaxing place to stay, 200m from Clifton Beach and also close to Trinity Beach and Palm Cove. Excellent walking paths and dog friendly beaches nearby. We liked the restaurants at Palm Cove and Trinity Beach as well as the Italian restaurant at Clifton Beach. Lots of bird life in the nearby parks. Tania was great to deal with, has lots of local knowledge too. We enjoyed our stay immensely.

Loved our stay.

This property was fabulous. It had everything we needed and more. Very dog friendly, very comfortable, super clean and walking distance to the beach, Palm Cove and shops. Also being a coffee lover I really appreciated the Nespresso machine. Thank you :)

Very neat and tidy unit for calm and safe stay. Equipped with everything one needs.

Honestly say we had a great stay. 7 nights with calm and quiet environment. Place is very clean perfect bedrooms with well organised with everything. Also the kitchen well equipped. Host (Tania) was very helpful and available whenever we needed. Anyone can stay here with confidence. Highly recommend for quite stay.

The apartment was beautifully decorated. Many small things were provided such as bottles of water, granola bars, mini chocolates in the fridge, coffee/tea, a few individual boxed cereals and basic condiments in cupboards along with all the essentials to cook in the kitchen. There was even a traveller's appliance plug in the drawer if you needed one. Some games for the kids provided, but we only discovered them when we were leaving and checking the closets to make sure we had everything. The only game we played was using the dice from the backgammon like game that was on the shelf. Towels and beach towels provided as well as washer, but no dryer, just clothes rack. Cooler also available for use which was found in the outside bathroom with the washer and drying rack. The only issue we had was that there was no internet code left in the book. Once we did get connected after contacting the owner it was slow once and kept defaulting to Telstra Air for paid internet or cutting out. It would work for maybe 5 min. at a time. If you need faster internet go to the nearby Clifton village mall to get free internet for an hour. I had to use my phone as a hot spot to get better reliability. Since it was so hot when were there it was not tolerable to eat outside (for dinner and even breakfast) on the patio where the dining table was. We did move it inside, but the table was quite heavy and then it left little room to move around in the living space. Overall, the stay was wonderful.

Rob and I (Owners) are a happy , easy going and friendly couple . We have been married for over 30 years.
Originally from a beach suburb in Adelaide, South Australia. We decided on a " Sea Change " and moved to Cairns with our 4 children.
We have loved every minute of living in such a fabulous part of Queensland, and believe Cairns is one of the most beautiful and relaxing places to see, visit or live when you're heading to Australia's northern shores.

Why they chose this property

Our apartment/ retreat is located in a quiet , leafy street and offers a beautiful tropical garden setting, with sounds of nature abounding in all directions.
With the Macallister mountain range to the back of our property, and the tranquil azure waters of Clifton Beach just metres from our door, you could not be more ideally located to enjoy or adventure in any direction .

Ideally located , your can explore and adventure easily in any direction and have a beautiful place to rest and recoup after a busy day .. Or kick back , read , relax , walk and enjoy your tropical surrounds at home . With a park, and a nature reserve at our doorstep you can birdwatch ,or spy the local wallaby family ( Small native kangaroo ) most nights at your front door . Unique wild life , native and tropical gardens, butterflies and birdsongs galore will provide the relax and unwind button that you have been looking for!
