Welcome to Paradise! You found the perfect condo for your Hawaiian Vacation. 2-103 at the Surf & Racquet Club is a gorgeous, 2 bedroom, 2 bath DIRECT oceanfront ground floor property. This property has EVERYTHING you'll need. Wifi, Beach Gear, all available for your convenience.
The owners have extensively remodeled the entire Kitchen in March of 2017!! See the photos!

Unit#2-103 has the accommodations available to sleep 6! Air Conditioning available for use!

The Keauhou Surf and Racquet Club is a gated community of condominiums. There are three professional style tennis courts with night lighting.

The large, newly remodeled swimming pool is ideal for “laps” and also for small children water activities. Showers and restrooms are conveniently located in the large pavilion near the swimming pool and tennis courts.

One of the most interesting features of the Keauhou Surf and Racquet Club are the numerous archeological sites. These preserved areas provide a glimpse of Hawaiian life years ago. Each site has a posted description of the activities that took place years and years ago.

The Keauhou Surf and Racquet Club has many gardens and walking trails. Flowers and tropical foliage are abundant. There are several outdoor barbecue areas for guests to use.
The Big Island is also known as the golf capital of Hawaii with 16 courses, 11 that are located in West Hawaii.

The owners of Unit#2-103 want to provide the best service possible for their guests.
Knutson & Associates will offer guests who book Unit#2-103 the following additional services as a benefit, to you, the guest!
1. You have a complimentary concierge service to make Activity Reservations if you so desire to utilize
2. Need us to go grocery shopping or pick up certain items from the store before you arrive? We can ensure everything is in the property waiting for you upon your arrival! (Additional Service Charge Will Apply)
3. Any guests who book 14 nights or longer will receive a Fruit Basket upon their arrival as a gift from the owner.
4. Face to Face Arrival/Departure Experience Offered Complimentary! All guests who book KKSR#2-103 have the option of meeting Property Management Staff upon their arrival to go over property specifics. We will turn on any fans/lights and ensure you enter into a comfortable inviting environment!

From the thoughtfully stocked kitchen, to the plethora of beach and activity amenities (boogies boards, cooler, beach chairs, umbrellas, etc) and the AC in every room, this was a truly great place to stay. That’s not even mentioning the excellent location and property amenities - close to everything and in a gated community, with access to a pool, tennis/pickleball courts, barbecue grills, and, of course, right on the water. We LOVED sitting out on the lanai in the mornings and watched the waves, and then eating dinner while watching the sunset in the evenings. This is a truly wonderful place to stay and we would certainly book this again!

Great patio with two lounge chairs and two reclining chairs along with a high-top table with four stools. I wish the facility would remove the small hedge so we see the ocean from the entire patio rather than only half of it. Loved falling asleep hearing the waves crashing! The other recommendation was to have shower mats for floor. I would definitely recommend.

Picture Perfect!

Kona Surf and Tennies Club was beautiful! Waking up to the sound of waves crashing against the shore. The club was close to shopping and tons of things to do.

Truly a great experience. As we've gotten older, we desire to be on the ground floor and thus the views are not quite as good as those on the second and third floors, but still the views are very good -- especially if you walk or move chairs just a few feet up the berm and towards the ocean.

Most everything we needed was supplied, at least a starter bit. The beach chairs, umbrellas, and snorkel gear were a nice surprise. We had a whistling sound the first 2 nights that we couldn't pin point that kept waking us up but maintenance came and fixed it and were very nice. Poop in the pool made our last night a bummer but we just shifted our family BBQ to a different location instead.

The lanai was comfortable peaceful, and a wonderful place to relax and listen to the Pacific waves crashing on the rocks. An amazing view in early morning or evening. The only thing I might do differently is request a second floor condo so the the waves could be viewed.Without air conditioning, the ceiling fans were not quite enough in the evening, but management brought fans ASAP which worked perfectly.

We were out almost all day, every day, so the inconvenience was minimized. The bathrooms are very dated and it is difficult to make them appear clean when grout and enamel is so old and deteriorated. Kitchen and supplies were adequate.

It's ok/not walkable

The place was tidy and comfortable. You can hear everything outside at night :( there are missing louvers on the glass front windows. There are not black out curtains in any of the bedrooms and the curtains that are there do not close all the way. There is a pathway behind the condo (main bedroom side) and the curtains are see through and don't close so you don't have privacy for changing clothes. There are bright street lamps outside that shine into the windows. The sandy beach that is mentioned is not really a beach. Beautiful oceanfront view. Good things: VERY close to the most amazing shallow reef, GREAT SNORKELING FOR KIDS. It's quiet for the most part. It's clean and the beds are comfortable. The couches are clean and comfortable :) We would stay again if they remedied the curtain situation.

Great Getaway

Great location on Alii Drive, close to popular beaches but felt far away from the traffic. The condo is beautifully decorated, everything we needed, and clean. Local grocery store is less than 5 minutes up the road. We bbq'd, played volleybal with the family. Other guests we met were friendly and pool area was well kept. The only thing we could ask for was more fans in the unit. It gets hot in Kona. But the VIEW!! We loved listening to the ocean and the breeze and the birds. The rental agency were attentive and ensured we had a great time. We're definitely going back. Big Mahalos!

Great Condo in Kona

The condo overall was great. Location was great. Ground floor, no stairs to climb. Even though it has no AC the property had enough overhead fans and floor fans to keep the property comfortable. There are a few maintenance issues that need to be addressed however the property manager was able to take care of that. One thing I did see was this was the first time in Hawaii after many of the covid restrictions had been lifted and we found that the condo had very in the ways of smaller supplies. For example, no condiments like salt, pepper., catsup, mustard, etc.. Pre Covid all the properties I had used through VRBO had those available. Not that we minded having to purchase those, it would have been nice to know about this before we got to the condo. We always stop at a store prior to getting to the condo to pick up other food and essentials.. All in all, a great place to stay. I would recommend this unit to anyone. PS: The sunsets over the ocean were spectacular.

Great area, condo was ok.

The Kona Surf and Racquet club is a beautiful and convenient place to stay. Ive stayed at this location (not this condo) several times and I love this location!!! With that said the condo stated it was renovated, but I found it had several areas untouched. The master bathroom needs work, at least a new sink, and counter, wall needs to be finished by washer dryer where they did some work and just left it open to the studs. Didn't even have a stopper in sink, and when you used it, all you could smell is sewage. The primary bedroom was ok, bed was very comfortable. The second bedroom was ok, but the management company got a hold of me the 2nd day in, stating that they wanted to send someone out to replace the TV. Guess it didn't work. So, they used my vacation time that I booked the condo, to have someone come in, measure, and go buy the TV. Then the next day, use my time again to deliver it to the room. Excuse me....when I am on vacation, and paying for the room, that is not the time I want maintenance activities to happen!!! Unless it is emergent, then schedule these things in between rentings!!! The only good thing about it was they got rid of this super nasty old fan...rusted piece of crap that should have been replaced ions ago. They had it sitting in the livingroom. So, they did bring a new fan in, after I complained. I figured since they were coming anyway, they needed to get rid of that. The kitchen was renovated. It did have a good assortment of utensils, plates, pots and pans. It did have a coffee machine and grinder which was all great. Just FYI, absolutely no condiments...not even salt and pepper, so prepare to grab those. Dinning room wasn't too great, couldn't get the light to work, also the table was too high, or chairs to low...I felt like a little kid eating. Living room had nice furniture, but one of the biggest disappointments was the view while sitting in the Livingroom. Directly out the lanai door is a grass incline with a short hedge on top. So, while sitting, you can't see the water, just the grass. If you stand, or sit on the lanai tall bar height table, you can enjoy the view...which by the way is breath taking! Thank God for the amazing ocean sounds, and crashing of waves, even if you couldn't see the water, you could hear it! That is if the kids in the apartment above you weren't running around and screaming. Which happened for about 10 days of our 14 day stay.

Great location within easy walking distance to local snorkel beach, shopping and private-like black sand tide pool beach next door to complex. Kitchen was well equipped to cook at home. Owners closet had beach chairs, pool toys and other items to use. Grounds are beautiful, well maintained and home to many types of birds. Unit could use some maintenance to drywall around washer and dryer but both were clean and usable. Be aware that you will need to sign a contract with rental company and pay extra for insurance for this unit. The master bedroom is open to the living area with only a sliding screen for privacy which wasn't an issue for us as we had no other guest. Second bedroom had twin beds with a door. Management was accessible by phone if needed and provided a nice welcome treats. We enjoyed our stay here and would consider staying here again.
