From a private marina with boat access, dockage & direct access to the intracoastal waterway, the property also offers three lighted tennis courts, a heated Olympic size swimming pool, sauna & fitness center, secure building offers elevator access & key fob security. The Anchorage has it all just across the street from South Siesta Key Village with shops, restaurants, activities & entertainment. What`s more , it even includes a private beach access exclusively for residents.

•GREAT ROOM: Lots of space easy and comfortable living , with high definition 70" flat screen Smart TV and DVD, and comfortable new furnishings.
•KITCHEN: Huge and will allow more than one chef to work the meal with no congestion at all. You will find it stocked with just about anything you will need for cooking, as well as an ice maker, microwave, stove, dishes, silverware, brand new cookware, blender, hand mixer, slow cooker, an assortment of spices, coffee maker, and 4 slice toaster.
•This condo has 3 spacious bedrooms plus a den with a very comfortable day bed.
•Master Bedroom has a King Size bed, 38" flat screen TV, DVD, bathroom with double sinks and walk in shower and sliding doors to balcony.
•Bedroom #2 has two full size beds.
•Bedroom #3 has a full bed and a twin bed, flat screen TV and DVD with sliding doors to balcony.
•Large heated pool, shuffleboard, workout room, private tennis courts, boat docks, private access to the beach.
•Coin-op washers and dryers are located on each end of every floor.
•Covered, reserved parking is attached to the main building and can accommodate up to two cars.
•There are no neighbors with adjoining walls to this unit. You will not hear noises from other families.
•Unit 911 is located on the north side of the building. The views are expansive, from Crescent Beach, to Siesta Key Public Beach, then across the key to the intracoastal where you can follow the water all the way to downtown Sarasota, all very clearly visible from this vantage point.
***You don't need to bring beach towels when you stay at Unit 911 at The Anchorage. I have plenty of beach towels for all.

The Anchorage condo 911

The condo was beautiful and a very good location with easy access to the beach. Close to everything in Siesta Village with a short ride on the Frog Hop free trolley. The owner of this property has been the easy to connect with for any questions and she is extremely organized. Definitely supplies nice stuff and has the little things that makes your stay comfortable. Highly recommend this condo!

This is best stocked condo we've ever visited. Everything you could need is there just waiting for you. You can cook for a week while staying in to play games or head to the beach with a wagon full of towels and toys. Easy to contact owner who was very quick to respond and extremely accommodating. Excellent place to stay at Siesta Key

We really enjoyed our time at Siesta Key and at the Anchorage. The condo that we stayed in was very nice and was maintained very well. The condo was spacious and was equipped with all the items that we needed for our stay. There was even many items for kids and adults to use at the beach. The pool and tennis courts was fun for the family. The condo is just a short walk to the private beach access at Siesta Key. There is several local restaurants within a short distance from the condo. Donna is excellent to work with. She answered all of our questions in a timely manner. Really had a great time.

One of the reason that we have a condo at The Anchorage, as well as two more at House of the Sun (one block from the Anchorage), is because we love this location. Siesta Key can get quite full during the year and at this location, we can walk to a variety of bars and restaurants, enjoy live music from Sniki Tiki 7 days a week, and we can get on and off of the key quickly as we do not have to wait in long lines of cars. I hope to have you back again in the future, and remember, if you want a smaller place, I have 2 2 bedrooms condos and a 1 bedroom condo, too. Take care. Donna Grimmer

Perfect Family Getaway with a Great ViewWe had a wonderful stay at this beautifully maintained condo near the beach on Siesta Key. It was absolutely perfect for our family of seven—spacious, clean, and incredibly well-stocked with everything we needed. The view from the 9th floor was breathtaking, and I especially loved starting each morning on the balcony with a cup of coffee and a view of the gulf.The condo itself is part of a well-kept complex with a nice-sized pool, and it's just a 10-minute walk to the nearby beach. Siesta Key Beach— rated the #1 beach in the U.S.—is only a 10-minute drive away. For those looking for adventure, there were plenty of water sports and fishing charters right across the street, plus some great local restaurants nearby.We also enjoyed heading over to Siesta Key Village, just a 15-minute drive, where there are tons of great places to eat, shop, the Gelato place was an exceptional hit wit the whole family. The owners were fantastic—very responsive and easy to work with—and the check-out process was refreshingly simple.All in all, this rental exceeded our expectations and made for a truly relaxing and memorable family vacation. SIMPLY THE BEST

First time to gulf, using VRBO and first ever written review . The location and the services provided by the property were just outstanding. Great communication with property owner and location was perfect. We didn't take much and glad we didn't because everything we needed was already there. Owners were quick to answer back with questions as provide information for the area. The view was perfect and it simply felt like home! Location has a great pool and walk to the beach fast ad easy, (5mins tops even with pulling a cart full of beach fun, escorting two kids and carrying another) Taking the trolley to Siesta Key center was fun, simple and easy. If your looking for a place to stay especially with a family of six, you can stop looking now! And NO, there is no incentive for me writing this comment, its just honest and the right thing to do based on what these owners did for making our vacation that much easier. We looking forward to future vacations at the Anchorage !!

Excellent large condo

This condo was great for our family of 5 adults and 1 toddler. The sunset views out of this condo are gorgeous. Everyone enjoyed sitting on the deck in the evenings. The beds were comfortable and the bedrooms were spacious with large closets. The bathrooms had walk in showers. We appreciated the hand held shower nozzle with the little one. The kitchen was large and very well equipped - if you can think of it they have it. I loved the idea of the “extras” box in the pantry. One of us had a sunburn and we found aloe in the box. We enjoyed the pool area. It was nice to hop in after supper and have some quiet time. Covered parking was a huge bonus as well. The location was great and near some of our favorite restaurants - Big Water Fish Market and Captain Curt’s. We found a new to us ice cream shop called the Orange Octopus. It might just be better than Olaf’s. Of course the Daquiri Deck is conveniently on the way back from the beach. We would wheel the wagon to the walk up bar around the back, park it and slip in for quick drink. Definitely would stay here again.

Our stay at the Anchorage was terrific! Donna labeled the kitchen cabinets, so no need to figure out where everything was. The condo was the best stocked house we have ever rented. The office staff at the Anchorage are friendly and helpful. The building is very conveniently located right over the bridge from the mainland. We enjoyed our trip so much we plan to return in the winter!

Good Week Away During Pandemic

I stayed on siesta key multiple times, but this is the first time booking a condo at the Anchorage. Siesta key is always a great destination, and this condo unit (911) was well-equipped and wonderful and its layout. it's owned by a very conscientious and attentive owner who took the time to communicate with us prior to our stay and checked in with us just after taking possession of the unit. There's a wonderful weekend away, especially given all of the stress our most recent times have placed upon us. I would not hesitate to lease this unit again.

Hi. I'm Donna Grimmer and I have four condos that I would love to show to you. On VRBO, they 314793, 1201328, and 108307. Although I do not live in Florida, I'm on Siesta Key many times a year. My condos are personally checked to make sure that they are in excellent condition.
This spacious condo is a recent purchase, making this our fourth condo on Siesta Key. I take great pride in all of my condos and I encourage you to read the reviews that are posted on my other three condos that I have been renting for several years. Why they chose this property

Dave and I have been coming to Siesta Key for over 20 years and we love it. Little did I know that I would, over the course of 12 years, own 4 condos on Siesta Key...but that is a long story and I can tell you all about it at a later date. Dave and I love all of the condos but we have grown children and some grandchildren and the family is scattered across the country. Being able to have all of our family on Siesta Key at the same time, either in the winter, or for Thanksgiving, or a special holiday, is one of the best reasons why we have these places and why we have chosen to share them with others as well.

What makes this property unique

You will be hard pressed to find a place like this one. The views are the best that I have seen on Siesta Key. By day you can see the beach, the boats on the Gulf, downtown Sarasota and the intracoastal as it winds its way north. Evenings are beautiful with huge sunsets and when the sun is gone for the night, you then can experience the lights of the key below and all around. There are places that just focus on the water and then at night, all you have is a pitch blackness. Here on the 9th floor at The Anchorage, there is the beauty of the day, and then there is the beauty of the lights of the evening. Having purchased this condo in May of 2015, we have begun the task of remodeling the place and it is coming along beautifully. Give it a try. You will be pleased you did.
