The Bennett Place offers travelers or visitors to Silver City an alternative choice for lodging. Located near the Historic Downtown Silver City we cater to those who appreciate something more than the typical 'motel' experience.
Many of our guests are relocating to Silver City and others are visiting for local events such as the Tour of the Gila bike race, the Silver City Blues Festival or hiking or hunting in the Gila Forest/Wilderness. We are conveniently located within walking distance to downtown shopping, restaurants, museums, art galleries and more.
Our recently remodeled rooms are very comfortable and well stocked. In addition there is a large outdoor common area with a patio and outdoor fireplace, barbecue grill, workshop and sufficient space for secure RV or large - vehicle parking.

Father’s Day weekend

This property is amazing, clean and has all the amenities you can think of! Loved the patio, spacious backyard and shed with extra restroom, ice maker and fridge. Would definitely stay here again!!

I cannot begin to state how much we enjoyed our stay. I must begin by explaining the sheer beauty of the property. The attention to detail was so evident as both the inside was beautiful, welcoming, warm and comfortable while the outside provided you with a great beauty that New Mexico has to offer. The incredible and intentional attention to detail from the host is completely obvious in that you are able to have a luxury stay while enjoying the many amenities and comforts of home. Our host Amy was incredibly attentive, kind and welcoming, and ensured that every detail was perfectly executed. We cannot recommend this property enough as we plan on staying here in the future.

Great house just minutes from everything

This house and property had everything we needed for two couples to stay for a couple weeks. The house was comfortable and well supplied with kitchen, laundry and outdoor BBQ and eating. Being right in downtown meant we were only minutes away from just about everything. Our hosts were so accommodating and communicative. A really great stay!

Wonderful location for Tour of the Gila

We came to town to watch the Tour of the Gila, this home was conveniently located for the various stages. A wonderful property to relax in after cheering on the bike races. We will definitely be booking again if we come back for this race or for other vacations.

We've stayed at vacation rentals all over the country. This place was as fine as any place we've stayed. The kitchen was totally well stocked. Amy is the perfect host. If we come back to Silver City, this will be the first place we look for online.

Beautiful/perfect location

This was easily the best property manager we have ever worked with. Amy was super helpful, always in touch if we needed it, generous when our schedule had to change and overall just a nice person. The house was adorable and spotless in the perfect location. We walked each night to the Main Street downtown to get dinner and ice cream with the kids. Very safe area near to the quaint “downtown.” Would definitely stay here again and really recommend working with Amy! Thanks again, Amy!

My favorite VRBO

I’m at jury duty right now so this will be short and sweet but I cannot say enough about our stay. First of all, Amy is by far the most gracious host. The house is impeccable with everything you need. She’s so considerate. The grounds are so beautiful. The cat is so friendly. I cannot wait to go back. Unforgettable! Love you Amy!

This is an excellent house. Amy was very accommodating. You are able to park close to the back door do unloading was easy. When we arrived. The radio was playing quietly and a lamp was turned on. She thought of everything a guest would want including coffee for our entire stay. The pantry was well stocked and we were invited to use whatever was there. The beds are ver comfortable and had different weights of blankets. The kitchen was nicely remodeled. One special aspect of the property is the outside covered patio. It has a nice table/ chairs and comfortable lounge chairs. Also there is a TV and a fireplace. I had a barbecue on the patio for my family and we were able to make s’mores. The was a good supply of firewood. I would recommend this property wholeheartedly.

Clean, roomy house with a great back yard. The kitchen had tons of supplies utensils, pots and pans, and the spice rack was loaded. Watched deer, humming birds and even a skunk from the backyard.
