Waterfront dacha is designed for family fun and adventure offering 180-degree water views of Greens Creek, a half mile from Oriental proper by water. Cottage boasts 3 bedrooms: The downstairs guest room has 2 Queens; the second story kids loft has 5 singles with its own half bath and the Grand Master Suite includes a California King with an in-bed view of the pool and water. Also features an in-room Jacuzzi and large double rain shower in grand style. There is also Yoga deck just off the master suite above the pool with a serene view of undeveloped waterfront across Greens Creek.

Dock is a wonderful place to catch crabs, fish, tie your boat and watch incredible evening sunsets over Green Creek. The views from cottage and dock are the kind of mediums artist embrace. And on any warm day our 3' to 9' deep saltwater swimming pool provides entertainment, fun and sunning in the quiet of a remote peaceful natural paradise .The diving board has been removed for the safety of our guests. The dock is available for your use, and is shared with an adjacent property.

Entertain your family and friends in our great room that poses two stories with arched rough timber ceiling beams. It also includes three comfy couches, a built in professional Scottish style wet bar and an open cooks-kitchen with an eyesight of all the social areas and relaxing views of the nature that's all around you. Dolphins, hummingbirds, mourning doves to wake by and turtles are ubiquitous. It's an ornithologist dream so bring those binoculars.
A history of Pirates and the medium for a great family adventure awaits your troop. So, come on, bring your imagination, your boat, your spirit and share an adventure with your family and friends. Come, build a memory and add your stories to the colorful pages of history.

Kick Back Relax

Had to move my first date because of the tropical storm and Beth and her team were exceptional! Wether it was helping me select a new date or the emails about the incoming storm they were professional in every sense of the word. The cottage was excellent!! Very quiet with great views of the water. It was nice to float around in the pool and relax with my family. Oriental is a small quiet community with everything you need to have a great time fishing, sailing, or getting away from it all. We will definitely be back! Thank you

Dragon Island Stay

Very nice house with a beautiful view. Plenty of room and space for everyone. Pool, fire ring, and yard were great. Piggly Wiggly was 5 minutes away. Enjoyed our time there and would rent again if the chance arises.

A very nice Dragon

We very much enjoyed the house with its beautiful location and great views. The way the house and property is setup with sitting areas to enjoy from outside to inside was very nice. having a boat dock to use and just walk out and go was awesome. There are only two small reason I dont give this a 5 star overall and they are in the evening with the families together relaxing the TV is annoyingly slow and even though it was a smart TV there were times it would freeze during a movie. the second was on the master bedroom bed the fitted sheet would come undone every night no matter how tight you pulled it in before bed. Other then those little annoyances the place was great. we would come back and hope too!!!

Neat house, great water view and short drive to town!

A unique house! We loved the antique pin ball machine! Home was clean and well stocked. The pool looked inviting but too cold for us to use. We did enjoy sunset on the dock. Oriental was a precious town and just a few minutes drive from the home. Property manager was great to communicate with and responded quickly to a minor issue. We loved the tote bag! We enjoyed our stay!

Gorgeous Pool!

We were three women staying here for a long weekend and the house was perfect for us. The kitchen was fully equipped, there are three bedrooms, and the pool with a view of the water as the sun set could not be beat! Absolutely gorgeous. The layout of the bedrooms is slightly odd though and something to be aware of if traveling with more people. The master bath does not have doors within the master bedroom, just a curtain. And the second floor bedroom doesn’t have great air conditioning and has a tiny cramped bathroom. We also found the checkout procedures to be daunting, with many different steps detailed that were complicated to follow. For example, the exact location to put dirty towels (in the bathtub?)Overall, an excellent stay and we would definitely come back!

The view is beautiful and the pool is nice although we didn’t anticipate most of it being 9 ft deep. The internet is very bad though, which made watching anything on tv very frustrating.

Fun house with lots to do outside

Despite some weather we really enjoyed our outside time by the water observing birds, ducks, jelly-fish, lizards, and more! House was unique, comfortable, and kids loved it.

A Cozy Cottage

This property is a very nice place. It is beautiful with a really great layout. The view of the water is spectacular and it is equipped with everything you need while on vacation. Everyone of the family members loved it and we would love to visit again, next time in the spring or summer time. We enjoyed every bit of our stay in this property and the owners and property managers made it very easy and enjoyable! An experience I otherwise couldn’t afford.

It was all good. My grandkids fished, and enjoyed the property. It’s time for a new barbecue (squeezing in another visit would be greedy). Also, I didn’t mind tending the pool, but if your paying someone to tend it, he did not show. The pump motor was easily taxed (pine needles). No worries, I was on top of it.

Quiet Retreat on the Backwaters

My wife and stayed for 5 days during Hurricane Ian. The location was ideal for a quiet get-away but was also but also within easy driving distance to New Bern, Morehead City, Atlantic Beach, and Beaufort. The extreme winds did knock down quite a bit of tree debris, but with a little skimming of the pool and some follow on sunshine we were able to enjoy the some swimming while overlooking the water. We identified numerous birds and enjoyed watching dolphins play just off the shore. The spacious house was more than enough for the two of us and included everything we were looking for. For nearby dining we found a few nice places in Oriental just a couple minutes drive from the property.

Absolutely stunning!

The house is amazing! This is the first time the pictures did not do the property justice. It was so much better than I expected. My kids loved the pool, and the lights made night swimming perfect! We loved the fishing, and even tried to catch some crab! (No luck though) Dolphins swam past most mornings, which the kids loved too. Such a great place, we will ABSOLUTELY stay here again!

Nice view. Blind on the door in bedroom was broke. Pool needs up dating. No TV in the master bedroom

The pool needed cleaning but the pool guy showed up the next morning to clean it. The view is outstanding. The upstairs is not very cool. Other than that it's a nice place. Found small poop on the deck. My husband said it was probably a racoon.

4th of July weekend

We really enjoyed our stay at this property for the 4th of July weekend. The pool was great and it was nice to put our boat in just around the corner and keep it at the private dock. Great place to stay for a low-key weekend. We will definitely be back!
