Post very responsive to just a small problem not even worth mentioning. Oddly, the description of the property on VRBO’s site indicates that there are two bedrooms when there are three. Absolutely gorgeous, location,
We had a lovely stay and it was relaxing. If you have little ones, I recommend bringing a fishing pole and fish off the dock. Quiet neighborhood and quaint.
The house was beautiful, the furnishings comfortable and stylish, the views gorgeous. The kitchen was well equipped. The master suite was lovely and the Jack/and/Jill bathroom between the other 2 bedrooms was easily navigable--perfect for 2 single guests. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay.
The house was very clean, casual beach/ sailing decor, very well furnished, good and comfortable linens in all rooms. The kitchen had everything we needed and I appreciated the few beach and pool toys available in the house, they were a big hit with the kids. The property was fantastic, great view, dock and pool, quiet and relaxing.

Perfect combination of comfort and beauty. My husband and I woke up each morning to a stunning sunrise over the waters of the Neuse River. It was a treat just to sit on the deck and take in the views. We’ll definitely be back.
Me and my wife absolutely loved this cottage!!
It was perfect not a single negative !!
The property management team is amazing as well.
Will be back on the Fall
Lovely house, fantastic views, great for entertaining our relatives who live in Oriental. Suggest a closer inspection of the property for cleaning, cleaning supplies and pots.
We stayed 3 nights in this beautiful cottage. The decor was beautiful. Wonderful views of the Neuse River. Very clean and comfortable. We loved sitting on the front deck facing the river. We chartered a sailboat one day but unfortunately there wasn’t much wind and a storm came in later. Oriental is very quaint and we loved the Piggly Wiggly! We will be back. Very affordable for such a pretty house right on the water.
The house is new within the last 5 years and sits among identical homes on the shore of the beautiful Neuse River. The two covered balconies facing the River got a lot of use in sunshine and rain. The interior is open architecture upstairs and 3 great size bedrooms downstairs. All the appliances were in excellent condition and the whole house was very clean and well equipped. We would definitely stay there again. Thanks!
This little cottage worked out great for our weekend attending a friends wedding. Property was very clean and well equipped. We did have to request an iron and ironing board but it was brought within minutes. I do wish the property was a little closer to town but not a big deal at all. Probably not the best option for older people due to the stairs and layout of the property as well as the steepness of the stairs.

Stay on the Neuse River
We booked this property for work colleagues visiting from overseas and we also booked a fishing charter on the Neuse River for teambuilding. I will probably bring my family back to visit. We were however frustrated to hear that they could not find bath towels (left in the drier) and there was no dishwashing detergent or dish cloths. It would be better to tell guests what to bring. Also the grill was far away from the house and unclean. This all didn't go down so well with a bunch of guys.

I apologize and will correct these issues right away. Thank you for your feedback.
The cottage rooms and views from the cottage are a thousand times better than in the pictures. There is no camera that can do that view justice. It is a very special place on the planet. We saw dolphins and the most amazing sunrises and sunsets. If I had any complaint to make, it’s that it’s really not private once you step outside, if the cottages beside you are occupied. The cottages are so close you can hear the conversations being had on the porch next door. A family of 18 moved in on the last three days of our stay and occupied the three cottages to our right. Lots of kids, ranging from elementary school to college, and their parents. They took over the pool and the yard and they were loud. The serenity and peace we enjoyed for a few days was no more. They were having a great time and that’s a vacation they will remember forever, but we were glad to be leaving. The pool is not big so 11 energetic kids, having a great time, led to us staying inside. I think maybe they did it right. It’s a great spot for a large family to rent separate houses and enjoy each other’s company at an affordable price. It’s a gamble if you go for a quiet stay. You may not get it.

Thank you for your review. We are thrilled to hear you enjoyed the beautiful views and had the opportunity to see dolphins during your stay.
We are, however, saddened to learn that your peaceful and relaxing visit was interrupted by a large family occupying multiple cottages. While we understand they were here to enjoy their visit and make memories, we wish they had been more considerate of other guests around them.
We hope to have the opportunity to welcome you back in the near future for a more serene experience.
All the best,
Beth Frazer Team
Nice place. We would stay here again. Had everything you would need and was clean. Thanks for letting us extend our stay when my husbands back went out.
We had a great time at the cottage. It was beautifully decorated but still very comfortable. We spent most of the time in the pool and sitting on the deck, relaxing.
We were pleasantly surprised at how many restaurants were close by. If you're eating out, Silos has some amazing pizza; stop by The Bean for great coffee!
