Great location, great place to stay

We were very pleased with our stay. The house was nicely laid out, well kept, and well stocked with what we needed (streaming channels, kitchen items, etc). Would absolutely stay again the next time we are in the area.

My family has been going to Fenwick for years and this is one of the nicest and cleanest houses we have ever stayed in! The pool was also so beautiful and easy to access. We will try to book for next year if it's available.

This was our second time at this property. Our family had a great time here and exploring Fenwick! The owner is top notch and the property is well cared for. We certainly recommend this place if you’re looking for a nice location with pool amenities.

Loved everything about the property. We felt the cleaning could have been a little better…..sticky refrigerator shelves, sticky counter top, hasty vacuuming, dirty towels left on washer from last tenant.

Fantastic Vacation Home!

Five of us went up to celebrate our Birthdays for the months of April and May! This was by far one of our best girl's trips in quite a while. The house was very clean and spacious in a beautiful walkable neighborhood. All of the amenities were just like being at home and we did not want for anything. We found some really good restaurants, all within a ten mile radius of the home. The host couldn't have been more gracious and responsive to any questions we had during our stay. We are already talking about a return visit in the near future.

"bare"foot review

Overall, we enjoyed our stay. The place, however, was missing some basic amenities: (a) hand towels for the bathrooms (b) toiletries (except for hand soap) in any of the bathrooms; and (c) hairdryers. All rentals we have ever stayed at provide these (even in small sizes), especially when toiletries are mentioned in the listing. We reached out to property manager and were told "Sorry, we don't have those." This resulted in a trip to the store. Also, there were ants which ended up in some of our kids luggage home. We were told the place was recently treated for ants but it is still unpleasant to see them in the bedrooms.

Our family had a wonderful stay at the Barefoot Bungalow. The house is in a beautiful community with friendly neighbors. A quick walk to the club house and bay. The house was very clean and we really liked the decor. The kitchen had everything you could need (big pantry, coffee maker, tea kettle, pans/pots, pot holders, trivets, dishware). We appreciated the house being well-stocked with toilet paper, paper towels, soap, etc. There were plenty of sheets, pillows and towels. We were a small group but there is a lot of room for a larger party. It was so nice to have personal touches such as games for the family to play. Everyone enjoyed playing air hockey very much. The two decks were great to sit outside and enjoy the good weather. Overall, we had everything we needed for a relaxing vacation. Thank you for your hospitality! My family can't wait to return in the warmer months!

Perfect Family Getaway

Shout out to Eric for making it such a smooth process to rent. During this pandemic we just needed a change of scenery. This was absolutely perfect! We had our little bubble, my husband and I, our 2 children and 2 grandchildren. Plenty of room and everyone loved playing air hockey. Spacious enough for everyone. Beautifully decorated. Beds very comfortable. We enjoyed walking up to private beach and pier. Beautiful views. The community firepit was a perfect spot for all of us to enjoy in the evening. We will definitely be back.

The Barefoot Bungalow is beautiful! Bright and sunny as well. We had plenty of room for our whole crew, and enjoyed the community amenities (specifically the pool and beach + kayak launch!) so much! During these COVID times, we wanted a comfortable home where we could cook our meals and be together safely, and this house provided that perfectly. My family is used to staying in impersonal time share accomodations and hotels, so having so many comforts of home was appreciated - board games, books, plenty of kitchen items, beach chairs, etc. I'd for sure have rated this a 5 star experience, but we did have some perfect storm issues with the house (a leaky ceiling that triggered the fire alarm, broken shower door, missing pool key). HOWEVER, Eric (our host) responded quickly and productively each time we reached out for support. Great time overall! I can definitely see coming back to the Barefoot Bungalow and using Evolve again.

The Perfect Vacation House!

After booking with Evolve, I was a little nervous after reading some reviews. However, our vacation went perfectly! I received the check in information on the day I was told it would be emailed. Eric answered all of my texts and questions throughout the entire process and was a pleasure to rent from. The location of the community was not far from Ocean City, MD or the Fenwick Island Beach. There were also many restaurants close by along with a Food Lion & Walgreens. The house itself was beautiful and very clean. Lots of space in the common areas and comfortable bedrooms/bathrooms. The community pool was never very busy and mostly everyone did a good job of social distancing. Due to Covid, the pool times were in 2 hour intervals (10-12, 12:45-2:45, 3:30-5:30). In between, cleaning was done for 45 minutes. I highly recommend this rental for a group of friends or for a family vacation. You won't be disappointed!

Wonderful stay for a family get away!

We loved the house! It was perfect for our family get away. It offered plenty of amenities and close to the beach. The manager was very helpful and checked in on us to see how things were going with our stay. I would definitely recommend it and hope to stay again next year.

Beautiful home in a great neighborhood

Our family loved our stay at Barefoot Bungalow. The house was beautiful and very comfortable. Rooms are large with plenty of room for families with small children. We had our 2 sons and their families join us. The beds were very comfortable in all the rooms and futons were adequate for small children. The house was immaculate and well appointed. Kitchen had everything we needed to prepare meals. The neighborhood and close proximity to the beach made this a perfect location. Since the neighborhood is small the pool was never crowded. Our grandkids had a ball in the pool. The pool is right on the bay so they could also enjoy the small beach while at the pool. We enjoyed sitting around the fire pit at night visiting with the friendly neighbors. There were plenty of restaurants and activities nearby at Ocean City. Eric was present at check in and helped us find everything that we needed in the house. He provided laundry detergent for us which was a great plus. Anyone would love this house and area. It is definitely a 5 star!

My family and stayed recently and had an amazing time. As a life long visitor of OCMD and the bay-side...you will not be disappointed. Only 6-10 minutes from Ocean City no matter them time of day. The view from the pool is fantastic. The house, the pictures do not lie. You don't have to make beds or bring linens...kids can crab while we watch them from the pool. Looking forward to booking very soon.

Even better than what was advertised. Place was much larger than appeared in pictures. Resort was great with a nice fitness center and pool that the grand kids loved. Beaches were only a short drive away and plenty of other places to visit. Great restaurants only a short drive away. My only suggestion is to have some chairs with higher backs to sit in the evening and relax. The ones on the back porch were great for eating but a tad uncomfortable to just sit out and enjoy the evening. Ovewrall every one had a great time and thoroughly enjoyed themselves.

The barefoot Bungalo was an absolute pleasure to stay in. It is absolutely perfectly decorated. It was much more spacious than we had thought, and the large kitchen, dining, and living area need hanging out together easy and fun. The kitchen was fully stocked with everything you could possibly need. The home was clean and small attention to details, like the live plants, really made our stay that much more special. Communication with both the owner and Evolve was seamless- I don’t think I ever had to wait more than an hour for a particular question about a coffee pot or a TV to be answered. Relevant directions were easy to find, as well. The deck and balcony had an amazing view, and the gym at the clubhouse was fully stocked. I would absolutely want to stay at the barefoot Bungalo again in the future. Thank you so much for an amazing stay!

Amazing spacious clean and comfortable home with all the amenities

This home was perfect in every way. It was impeccably clean and had everything we could have wanted. The open floor plan downstairs allowed for a large group of people to gather and not feel crowded. The house and its furnishings are beautiful and comfortable. The gym/clubhouse and firepits are an extra nice touch to keep everyone happy without leaving the development. The owner was very accommodating and helpful with local recommendations and information. We cant wait to visit again!
