This Kiawah Island first-floor vacation rental is a Turtle Cove villa with 3 bedrooms, 3 bathrooms, a gorgeous lagoon view, and a screened porch. The villa is a short 5-minute walk to the beach.

This adorable, coastal-themed villa offers a living space with comfortable seating, a flat-screen TV, and access to the screened porch. The updated kitchen has stainless steel appliances, wood cabinets, bar stool seating for 2, and is well equipped to meet your cooking needs. With seating for 6, the dining area located right off the kitchen is the perfect area for hosting meals. It also offers access to the breezy screened porch.

Past the living room is the primary bedroom with a king bed, flat-screen TV, and private bathroom. On the same side of the villa, there is a bedroom with a queen bedroom, flat-screen TV, and a private bathroom. On the other side of the living room, there is a bedroom with 2 full beds and private access to the hallway bathroom.

The villa’s screened porch has views of the lagoon and boasts a ceiling fan, table and chairs that comfortably seats 6.

The villa is equipped with a washer and dryer and high-speed wireless internet.

Guest reservations of 3 to 21 nights come with a valuable credit to use towards beach gear rentals during your stay! The credit amount for this property is $250. You may use your credit for bicycles, beach chairs and umbrellas, beach carts, and more – the choice is yours!

Spring Break with family

We brought our 4 kids and my wife’s parents to Kiawah for the week. We had a great time and thoroughly enjoyed the central location of this condo. Kiawah has so much to offer and we had an amazing time!!

Clean and easy beach access

My family has stayed with Akers Ellis multiple times in the past and are never disappointed! Check-in and check-out are always so smooth and the places are always very clean. We did not know that this place was shared with three other villas in the same building, but that was the only surprise.

Very pleasant and convenient place on Kiawah. Screened in porch feels private and overlooks large lagoon. Beds and comfortable and the kitchen well equipped. Short walk and very short bike ride to the beach, Sanctuary, etc.

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We enjoyed the condo. The 3 bedrooms and 3 baths were perfect for us. The condo was well stocked except for the kitchen. We like to cook together when we travel. The kitchen didn’t even have salt and pepper and they supplied us coffee but no coffee filters or cream or sugar. The pots and pans could also be improved as there were only 2 small skillets. It would also be good to have some spices to go with salt and pepper. The location was great for the event we attended.

The weather wasn’t ideal, but we can’t control the weather. Our villa was nice, in a great location, and the perfect size for our family. Only issue, or hiccup, we had with the place was the AC/Heater. The unit was dripping water so we had to go without the AC for a night and most of one day. Property manager sent repair man out and the issue was supposedly resolved. However, less than 12 hours later we had the same problem. This time the manager himself came out and looked at the unit. We were thankful that Akers took the time to address our concerns.

Communication was good, and we loved the $250 credit for beach equipment - highly recommend the beach cart! The house was a short 5 minute bike ride to the boardwalk, approximately a 15 minute walk. Turtle point is in East Beach, very close to The Sanctuary, Town Market, and also easy access to Vanderhorst. The house was clean and well appointed. The screened porch was a nice place to sit, though there is a musty odor and I suspect the carpet may need replaced. The property could use a bathroom update. The tub/toilet area of the master is tiny which makes maneuvering around a bit difficult. The washer and dryer are kind of small and quite noisy, which can be a bit of a problem since they are right between 2 bedrooms. Some additional pots and pans would be nice, particularly a small pan that could be used to heat up a can of soup - we didn't find one of that size. Overall, this was a nice property and we would stay here again. We would definitely use Akers Ellis again.

Family Reunion

3rd year staying at Kiawah (2nd time at Turtle cove villas) with 3 adult sons and a 4 yr old grandchild. Loved the house and location! Never needed to turn on the TV for the entire stay. Easy walk to the beach. My son brought Spike Ball, which kept everyone entertained at the beach. Well appointed kitchen. So enjoyed cycling both the bike paths and the beach; just the best. Restaurants were crowded and could not get a reservation. Definitely need to do this well in advance next time.

Door handles falling off, bugs...preheat the oven then listen to the fire alarm because of the smoke from the buildup burning off. And more.

This has been the best rental agency in Kiswahili that we have worked with. Anything we asked for we received in a timely manor.My only suggestion was that our refrigerator went out and we lost the contents in the freezer and we didn’t have the use of the freezer. It would have been nice to have been compensated for that through a voucher for ice cream or dinner or the grocery store or a percentage off on our next stay. That concern for a customer goes a long way. Regardless, I am still very satisfied with the customer service

Great Place

Everything was very nice. We enjoyed the complimentary rental beach equipment that was included with the rental. My only complaint was that the ML baseball playoffs were on and we would have liked to watch them. However the cable package must have been the absolute cheapest. I didnt know you could get a cable package that doesnt include TBS. The owners are going pretty cheap on that.

The kitchen was minimally stocked (no salt and pepper??) but thankfully we brought what we needed. The lagoon view is lovely! Really wished the table and chairs on the porch were replaced with comfy outdoor seating because we spent a lot of time out there. Also, the toilets were difficult to flush without force to the handle which is worrisome when on vacation. Otherwise, it's a stellar spot. Go!

We really enjoyed getting away from home to stay in this beautiful condo in Kiawah. It was just what we needed for our family of 6! We hung out at the beach every day (a short bike ride or walk away) and took long bike rides on the extensive bike paths on the island. It was wonderful

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Kiawah is our family's favorite vacation spot, and Akers Ellis has become our go-to rental provider. We traveled with 2 adults and 3 high school seniors and never felt like we were on top of each other. Turtle Cove is a great neighborhood; it is away from the hustle and bustle of Night Heron Park, but a short bike ride there if you want to go. The walk, or for us, bike ride, to the beach or Market is short and convenient. Our son enjoyed the small dock just behind the unit for casting a few lines in the evening. The kitchen was well-stocked for cooking. *Note: coffee maker uses cone-shaped filters; I showed up with basket filters and had to get more. Though we didn't use it, there does appear to be a sleeper sofa in the LR room that isn't listed on the rental info. We also enjoyed that this is a ground floor unit so we didn't have to carry our luggage upstairs; however, you WILL hear footsteps from the unit above you. When we arrived, the unit had a very musty smell for about a day, despite the air being on. I attribute this to the fact that we were the first to rent it after the COVID-19 closures. Probably for the same reason, there were also some dead palmetto bugs here and there in the unit, as well as several of some type of small bug on one of the full-size beds. We washed the linens and it was fine. Additionally, the porch table and chairs were coated and had to be wiped down before we used them. Perhaps the cleaning crew should have come in and freshened up a bit prior to our arrival. I reported a broken handle on the washing machine and requested it be fixed after we left, since the machine was still usable. Also, if you plan to spend much time watching TV, you may be disappointed. The cable selection is the very, VERY basic subscription, and even some of your major networks are not included. WiFi is ok; had to keep the sliding door open when I was on the screened porch for my laptop to run well. All things considered, our family would stay here
