This home was perfect for our large family—quaint, spacious, and set in a quiet neighborhood. The management team was professional and responsive, and when an unexpected issue arose, it was handled quickly and with great care. Even the owner personally checked in to ensure we were comfortable. Truly outstanding service and hospitality!

We enjoyed our stay. Great house nestled in the woods. Clean, quiet. Room for everyone. Close to all we needed. Communication with owner and check-in was fabulous. Would definitely stay again.

UF Graduation

Stay was great. They allowed early checkin. The drive took about 25 mins to get to UF graduation events. The place was great and it was peaceful. We liked having the fully stocked kitchen and the great outdoor space.

Yellow House in Waldo

We rented this property because of its convenient location near Gainesville Raceway. The property was nicer than the description. Everything was well appointed and there was enough room for everyone. Our agent was very personable to speak with.

Yellow house near Santa Fe Lake

Property manager was attentive and accommodating, much appreciated. Overall, the home needs a few more amenities and a bit more owner love to be a SUPER vacation stay. Be sure to use Google Maps to navigate to the house, not Waze!

Relaxing

We spent a wonderful peaceful week at the "Yellow" house. All the amenities were there for us. It was comfortable for us to meet in the middle to talk and visit and still be able to separate to our rooms for alone time. The pictures do it justice but it is still so much more. Terri was amazing and kept in touch with us. We would recommend this home to everyone.

December Wedding

My family went to Florida for my brother’s wedding and family Christmas celebration. The Yellow House was everything we could have wanted: cozy, comfortable, quiet, homey, and in a beautiful location. We were able to travel to Gainesville and Orlando comfortably. The full kitchen allowed us to cook meals. My son and sister bonded over a ping pong game. And, the fuzeball table was a hit with my new niece and nephew. We made some wonderful family memories in The Yellow House! We will keep it in mind for future family fun!

Mom’s BDay surprise

Rented this property for a trip planned to surprise my Mom for her birthday. Location was close to my Mom’s house so it was ideal. Was a little disappointed since the pictures on the listing lead you to believe the property is on the lake, but it is not. The house was well furnished and the beds were comfortable, but the cleaning crew could definitely give this house more attention. No real issues and we really did have a lot of fun just hanging out. Plenary of room for us to sit and play cards and/or watch TV on the provided Roku. Would recommend to friends and family. Nice and quiet neighborhood as well.

Nice house for UF visit

The Yellow House was perfect for our trip to see a Gator football game. Terri sent a welcome text with info shortly after we booked & was easy to work with. She even went above & beyond, when she mailed us headphones that we accidentally left behind! The house is in the country, on a very quiet street. It was clean & had just what we needed for a long weekend. We would definitely stay here again. Thanks Terri!

Great stay for Homecoming!

House was awesome, had everything we needed for a fun weekend. The kids loved the game room and there was lots of seating for everyone. The kitchen was well stocked and we cooked plenty of meals there. Everything was clean and the whole check-in process was super easy. It was a teensy bit far from the University just because we had to drive back & forth so many times, but for the non-inflated price, it was a steal for a game weekend!

Great property, convenient to Gainesville.

This was home base for my daughter’s graduation from UF. Much cheaper than staying in Gainesville. The Evolve property manager was not very responsive, but fortunately we hooked up with the owner early and enjoyed a very pleasant few days. Very nice on the inside with all the amenities you need. Really felt like home away from home. Trust me.

Great house and inside amenities

The property is great on the inside. It was very very wet and flooded on the outside. Deep water covered the drive way and the back yard which prevent ability to utilize the grill (which in the listing states Gas it turns out is charcoal) and gazebo. The draining on the property is blocked could be repaired from what we can tell. It is also not close to Lake access.

Trip to visit family

We were visiting family in the area and looking for a rental that was close in location to their home. The check in process was and communication before, during and after our stay was excellent. Terri was so helpful with booking and kept us up to date with information as needed. The location of the home was quiet which made it very easy to put our infant down at night and nap times. The house offered all the amenities that we could have wanted and needed! If we are ever back in the area, we will keep the yellow house in mind for future stays!

Yellow house

Stayed at the yellow house on a hot July weekend. AC was quiet and kept the property nice and cool. Nearest public access to the water was in Melrose. The house was clean and comfortable. I would suggest some landscaping prior to fall when the temperatures allow you to enjoy the outside amenities.

Excellent Stay!

I have enjoyed my stay at The Yellow House in Waldo, Fl. Everyone has been so kind and understanding. I rented the home because my daughter was having a baby. The baby decided to be really late so I had to extend my stay a couple of times. Everyone was so helpful, kind and supportive. I didn’t have any problem during my stay but if I had a question the contact person (Teri) was very responsive. The home owners were superb. I will be back! I highly recommend this home. I know future guests will find it just as amazing. Many THANKS to everyone who helped host my stay.
