Set on four acres of beautifully landscaped gardens, with paths that lead you through heirloom rose gardens, alfresco dining areas, olive grove, huge vegetable gardens and even a fairy garden. There is something special to experience everywhere you wander throughout this picturesque property.
Nestled between Lindenderry at Red Hill and Eldridge Estate, the property is flanked by vineyards providing a colourful vista ever changing with the seasons. It is only a short walk to the famed Red Hill craft Markets, and the delicious Red Gum BBQ.
The historic "Girrawheen" farm house has undergone a provincial makeover with a rustic, French Industrial edge and offers spacious bedrooms and living areas, enclosed fireplace, huge farm table offering dining for 14, and a gourmet kitchen for the weekend chef.

Everyone loved the property adults and children.
The Farm House was delightful with everything we needed supplied. The 5 children loved the garden and games room. What a beautiful garden with so many surprises, great for Easter egg hunting. The two ‘billy carts’ were a high light.
All cooking utensils and appliances we needed were there including Nespresso coffee machine.
Now everyone has an ambition to find a similar property in the wonderful region!

Ps one little thing to point out ,the ceiling lights above the cook top don’t work and neither does the light in the exhaust fan.

We absolutely loved our stay at Butterfly Retreats! The owners kindly gave us the opportunity to host our wedding at their stunning venue. It was exactly what we wanted- warm, inviting, charming and relaxing! Supreme location; awesome house; picturesque property
We just had a long weekend at Butterfly with three families. Both the kids and the adults had an absolute ball. Terrific memories have been made.
The kids didn’t once ask for an iPad. They remained outside playing footie and cricket on the lawn; they made ‘lemonade’; the house was fully kitted out activities for the kids- including a games room- to allow the parents to have a break from the darlings.
The parents were able to enjoy a couple of (boxes) of wines and nibbles on the veranda whilst the kids played. BBQs were our meals of choice.
We walked to the Red Hill show and to Red Gum BBQ. Both were awesome.
We all left wishing we owned the property ourselves.

Everything just perfect!
We had a wonderful stay at this property. We stayed as 2 couples but this would also be perfect for 2 large families. There was plenty of space and it suited our needs perfectly. We spent the weekend exploring the Peninsula and this was a great central location to do this from. We spent the afternoon/evenings enjoying the gardens and the outdoor sitting areas.
There are two wineries on your doorstep and Red Hill BBQ is walking distance for a casual meal. The local store had beautiful produce and was only a short distance away.
The house has everything you need for an easy getaway. The kitchen is well equipped for cooking and there are heaps of activities available to do. The beds were so very comfortable.
Claire was a pleasure to deal with and made us feel very welcome and that we were spending a weekend at a friend's place. Thank you to Claire!
This is clearly a well loved space that is presented beautifully and very welcoming.

This property is incredible, the garden really does take you to another place.
