Wildflowers and peaceful nights under the stars made our weekend enjoyable. The beds were comfy and the kitchen was adequate for feeding the family. Would recommend!
My party of eight had a great time here and would absolutely recommend it to anyone who wants to stay in or near Dripping Springs. The property has amazing views and the owner is very responsive and helpful!
We were in town for a wedding in Dripping Springs, and the groom and 6 groomsmen stayed here through the weekend. It was a fantastic place to stay with beautiful views of the Texas hill country. I highly recommend this place!
We had a great stay at this house and it was the perfect location of a wedding we were attending at the Allegro Wedding Venue. We enjoy a fire in the evening outside, the quiet surrounding, and loved having the horses and the donkey in the pasture behind the house.

Thank you for your kind words! We’re so glad that you enjoyed your stay with us. We would love to host you again in the future!
We loved our stay at the Bungalow! It feels secluded and has beautiful views, but it’s not far at all from amenities such as food, gas, and groceries. Great hiking and several breweries and wineries nearby. The horses in the back were a huge perk for our daughter. Highly recommend for a family vacation.

Thank you for staying with us at the TyRosa Ranch! We hope to see you back again soon!
We enjoyed our stay and plan to return. We were able to get friendly with the rescue horses and were surprised to see so many animals in the natural setting ( foxes, deer, and birds ) from the kitchen table and bedroom balcony.
Had a great time celebrating with family. Be careful not the drive up there if you are traveling in at night. Enjoyed the rustic, country feel of the place. Need wine bottle opener.

This cozy house was a really fun and beautiful place to stay. We loved feeding the horses and donkey at the rescue that bumps up to the property. We loved the privacy and space we had and of course the beautiful view from the deck.

Loved the view
Well we first got there the house was not clean, I contacted the homeowner and he had us leave so the cleaning crew could come and do their thing. Which was a little inconvenient after traveling over 6 hours. The location was great though.
Country settings, we watch a family of gray foxes play and hunt rabbits! Property was well maintained clean and comfortable. NOTE: Plan to bring your own water. The water is bitter with lime.
WE loved staying at the cabin (Bungalow).
We spent days at the State Parks nearby. We spent nights on the balcony just breathing in cool, clean air and watching the stars. We also loved the neighboring horses and donkey so much. They were sweet and we had to give them most of our apples.

Spending nights on the balcony, enjoying the cool and clean air while stargazing, sounds absolutely magical. It's wonderful that you were able to find tranquility and connect with nature during your stay.
The presence of neighboring horses and donkey adds an extra touch of charm and interaction with the local wildlife. We're glad to hear that you enjoyed their company and even shared some apples with them.
Thank you for choosing our lodging as your getaway destination. We hope to have the pleasure of welcoming you back for more memorable experiences in the future.
The property was beautiful. We sat on the deck and watched the sunset each night. The neighboring horses and donkeys were a hit too. The house was great and had everything we needed. The kitchen was well stocked and the bathrooms even had toiletries. The washer and dryer came in handy. I definitely recommend!

Thank you for your wonderful feedback! We're thrilled to hear that you found our property beautiful and enjoyed the stunning sunsets from the deck. It's always a delight to have some friendly neighbors like the horses and donkeys nearby.
We're glad that the house provided everything you needed for a comfortable stay. It's great to hear that the kitchen was well stocked, allowing you to prepare meals with ease, and that the bathrooms had toiletries available for your convenience. Additionally, having a washer and dryer on-site is always handy for longer stays.
We sincerely appreciate your recommendation and are thrilled that you had such a positive experience. If you ever plan to visit the area again, we would be more than happy to have you as our guest. Please don't hesitate to reach out when you're ready to book your next stay. Thank you once again for choosing our property!
Overall the property was terrific. Property was clean and as described. Was really nice to have some wood provided for an evening fire, and great view from the upper deck. My only critique - hot water was lukewarm in downstairs bathroom. Would recommend.
The house was very nice and closely matched the photos provided. Some of the furniture showed signs of wear from use, and it appeared there may have been a gap between our stay and the previous guests. Unfortunately, the dishwasher and other common areas had not been refreshed prior to our arrival. Some of the bedding had visible stains, which was a concern, though overall the property was pleasant and well-appointed. The yard was overgrown, which limited our ability to fully enjoy some of the outdoor spaces.

My partner and I love traveling, food and tech. We have been successfully managing properties throughout Austin & Dripping Spring for the past 5 years. We have made it our goal to make sure that our guests are provided with the things they need to make their stays in our properties restful, relaxing, and carefree. Why they chose this property
We fell in love with both properties the moment we saw it. We always wanted a place we can have large friends and family gatherings. The 5 Acre Hill country retreat includes 2 properties. We love the remote feel yet still close to downtown Dripping Spring.
