Short 1 mile walk to the closest beach (Weekapaug beach). *Our beach pass is for Wuskenau beach which is 2 miles away. Wuskenqau beach is located right next to Misquamicut state beach. Fully furnished New England style cottage. The living room has one full-size sofa, one love seat sofa, and one oversized chair. Large eat-in kitchen with large table seats 6 comfortably. Outdoor table seats 8 comfortably. Bedrooms: B 1 has a king bed, B 2 has a queen bed, B 3 has 2 twin beds and B 4 has 2 twin beds. A queen size inflatable mattress is provided; with the inflatable mattress, the cottage easily sleeps 10 people. 2 ductless split (Mitsubishi) air conditioning & heating systems provide comfortable temperature control on the basement and main level floors; in addition to the ductless splits systems, the house also has forced hot water oil heat and radiant heat in the basement level floors. The house has tile and hardwood floors throughout. Sheets, comforters, pillows, and plenty of towels are provided. There are 2 full-size bathrooms; one bathroom has an oversized tub and shower and the other a large stand-in shower. There are a washer and a dryer on the 1st floor. 50 inch HDTV flat screen smart TV with Verizon cable TV channels, Verizon FIOS 100 Mbps Internet, microwave, glass cooktop stove, full-size refrigerator. Keurig coffee maker, dining ware. Pots & pans provided. Outdoor fire pit (firewood not provided) Very large yard with outdoor table and table umbrella, great for outdoor BBQ (charcoal grill provided). *Quiet neighborhood.
Check out downtown Westerly and visit the Grey Sail Brewery, 2 bookstores, antique shops, and many retail shops, pubs, and restaurants. The nearest public golf course is Winnapaug Country Club, 2 miles away. Located10 minutes from Watch Hill, 40 minutes from Historic Newport, RI. There is a large playground & tennis courts for after-dinner hour fun just up the street at Rotary Park or drive to Watch Hill for ice cream and carousel rides for the kids or visit The Ocean House. This property is central to the beaches and shopping; It is a comfortable space for families with children. Foxwoods Resort Casino is 35 minutes away. Mohegan Sun casino is 50 minutes away. Enjoy dining at the many waterside restaurants in our area. No security deposit required. There is a Walmart superstore nearby. In the summer, there are many free outdoor concerts with free parking minutes away in beautiful Watch Hill or at the town beach. Our property has plenty of parking for up to 6 vehicles. Once settled, we enjoyed this house. As others remarked the stairs were very steep. The entry through the front is long and half blocked by a tree so my parents ended up staying in a hotel. The beds were comfy and we enjoyed relaxing when there.

Nice property in a good location. We enjoyed our long walks each morning and having our dog with us. There are a few areas that would enhance the guest experience. The downstairs door has a very complicated lock which was frustrating. I would have preferred better towels and the cleaning service should pay more attention to swiping/vacuuming the floors before new guests arrive.

The beds were comfortable, sofas were not. The oven didn’t work right and one of the entry doors had problems with the lock. Extremely hard to find patio light switch. One of the guest towels had stains and table runner in living room had holes in it. The inside staircase was very steep and narrow with small steps. On the upside, very close to golf courses and beach.

Great spot for family weekend

We have a wonderful time at the cottage. My kids are all teens and they loved it. We played games in the yard, used the fire pit and dined on the patio! Perfect weekend getaway.
