Lake Michigan’s South Shore beaches and Blue Chip Casino in walking distance.

My place is an updated 3 story, solid house, built in 1901 turned into a duplex by the previous owner. It’s very comfortable with an open concept design, sky lights, 2nd floor cathedral ceiling bedroom, with a loft (currently not used), full kitchen/dinning room/living room. There is a 65” TV in the living room and 60” TV in the bedroom both with high speed WiFi. There’s a full sized, washer and dryer in the basement for your convenience. The upstairs has a m queen sized bed. I have down comforters with duvet covers and comfortable linen. The 3/4 bath is upstairs off the bedroom and has a very large tile shower. The living room area has a large comfortable sectional couch. I keep the couch covered for easy of cleaning.
The backyard is shared with your host (when I'm in town). As summer 2025 I have new construction which includes a covered porch off a new garage that covers a 7 person hot tub. Also a Pergola on another deck. Please enjoy your coffee on the back deck in the mornings and your drinks in the evening. The deer can be seen walking down the road in the mornings and evenings. The racoons will be out at night so don't leave anything they might want. Parking is out front and the front door is the entrance. The back door leads to the nice common area that is sometimes shared with private hot tub usage can be requested and will be respected. I have privacy curtains around the hot tub area and back deck open spaces. At the moment I have not updated all my pictures and I’m accepting limited guests due to COVID and trying to find a new rhythm with the additional construction/common area. I think you will be happy the new space.
This location has been a 5 star location (with the “other” site) since I opened it for use in July 2017. We do all we can to make our guests very comfortable.
My recommendation, due to this space having just one 3/4 bath located off the upstairs bedroom area, would be no more then 2 adults with a maximum of 1 child. I will ask you to confirm you understand the bathroom is small and off the bedroom upstairs.

If you would like to enjoy a day on Lake Michigan, I have a 35’ Luhrs MotorYatcht in the MCPA marina (less then a mile away). The “Yeti” is a flybridge boat built for comfort and of course fishing. The boat is rigged for charter fishing but I don't offer official charters. We could arrange for a casual day on the Lake based on weather and availability. This would be something we can discuss separately. I require a gas donation.

I try to keep an initial stock of water and coffee for the keurig for your arrival. Take one leave one has been working well. The kitchen is fully stocked for cooking but be nice to cleaning service (me)!
