Paradise Found is located at Mile Post 16.5 in Nags Head, close to seafood markets, homegrown shops and eateries, bike and beach gear rentals, and Jennette's Pier. Take your pick of convenient activities, including deep sea fishing from Pirate's Cove, or drive south to take in the natural beauty of Cape Hatteras National Seashore and the iconic Cape Hatteras Lighthouse. History buffs can head to Roanoke Island for a visit to Festival Park, the Lost Colony, and the Elizabethan Gardens.

Take in views of both the Atlantic AND the Pamlico Sound from multiple decks... sunrises and sunsets to enjoy daily!

5956 square feet with a roomy open floor plan and multiple gathering places offer ample space perfect for socializing, and all 8 bedrooms have their own private en-suite bath. We're ideally suited for multi-family getaways, girl's trips, and any vacation where privacy and togetherness are equally important. And you can bring everyone in your family, including the family dog. We're pet-friendly!

​​​​​​​The lower level is for fun: here, you'll find a sitting room, full bath, rec room with kitchenette as well as glass doors leading to the pool and hot tub. This floor's only bedroom suite has a queen bed, a twin bed, and its own bathroom—great for privacy and families with little ones or late-nighters.

The mid-level features a west-side main entry, relaxing reading room with puzzle table and 5 bedrooms all with private attached bathrooms. These include one bunk room (with two sets of twin-over-twin bunk beds to sleep 4) and four-bedroom suites with king-size beds and TVs. Direct ocean-facing deck and beach access are available from the hall.

The upper level is vacation central with its open-concept kitchen, dining area, 2 king master bedrooms and great room with awesome views. Just off this space is a private den with 50" Smart TV and west-facing deck access. Prep a fresh seafood feast for the group in the full kitchen, featuring all appliances and plenty of counter space. Six can gather for breakfast and coffee at the kitchen peninsula. At dinnertime, the dining table seats up to 14, with another 4-person table nearby.

The top level offers oceanfront decks to the east and additional sun porches on the west side. Shade lovers will enjoy the mid-level balcony and the private wooden walkway through the dunes to the beach. On the ground floor is a pool area tucked into the dunes with shaded hammock. Outdoor shower, grill area, hot tub, and enclosed patio are a few more extras.

Family Christmas

We were seven adults and nine children ranging from 18 months to 16. The house was well stocked with everything we needed and the view of the ocean and the pier was lovely. We had a fisherman in the group, and he had a great time fishing off of the pier. We appreciated the prompts on all of the light switches and the two dishwashers were a lifesaver. Everyone enjoyed the hot tub and the outside decks. I would definitely recommend.

It has easy access to the beach, nice pool, great hot tub, and plenty of common area spaces. In addition to all the outdoor activities, we enjoyed karaoke, puzzles, games both large and small, and reading in a quiet space. The house is well insulated with well-carpeted stairs and comfortable beds.

This house had the 3 basic things we needed elevator, dog friendly and ocean front. The furniture and beds were very comfortable. Lots of sitting areas for privacy. Close to quality restaurants; ice cream shop right across the highway. A couple glitches with the house the hot tub was out of service and the first floor ice maker’s door would not shut. The pool area was great!!!

We had 15 of us there for the week and had more than enough room to find some solitude when needed. 😂 The location is great. Short walk to the pier which came in very handy with the kids. Cahoons convenience store is literally next door and FatBoyz ice cream shop was right across the street. The property is well maintained and was in great condition upon our arrival. The only minor recommendation we would make is for the owner to add a garbage disposal in the kitchen. We highly recommend this property if you love the convenience of being on the beach.

Dolphins were in the ocean a number of times close to shore which was very exciting. Everyone enjoyed the pool and hot tub, which was checked mid-week. The house is close to Jannette's fishing pier. The description of the house was very true, the house was spotless on arrival. There were a couple of things broken upon arrival and I sent a text to the rental company just to let them know we had not broken them and someone came on Sunday and fixed it, which was a nice surprise. The little store next door was very handy it had everything you could possibly need. Ice cream across the road - brilliant!!!! We really enjoyed the amenities of this house more than any we have rented before. We would recommend this house without hesitation. Our first time in the Outer Banks but would come back and hopefully to this property.

Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We loved this vacation house! It's a beautiful house with loads of room! It has more than enough kitchenware. It was clean and inviting. The elevator was a "must" for our senior crowd,and taking groceries,luggage, etc from the bottom floor to the top. Being that close to Jeanette's Pier,restaurants,shopping, etc made it super convenient. Now for the downside. The sliding door downstairs was hard to close. The stairway, being one on top of the other, was convenient but brought the loud noise from the 1st floor through the 2nd and 3rd floors restricting pool table time. Only other negative is being ON the beach is a HUGE deal for our group. That's what our whole trip revolves around. Trying to get to the beach and back was absolutely impossible for our senior crowd, young kids and everybody in between. We had to drive a few driveways down for access. It defeated our "oceanfront" vacation. It is only for that reason I wouldn't rent this house again. If they were able to install steps or some type of walkway I would reconsider. But the inconvenience (mountain of sand) was more than we could handle.

Very much appreciate the team working to have the unit ready as soon as possible. We were in the unit within 20 minutes. The house was clean and in order, and the the temperature was even perfect. A storm had come through the week before and there was a bit of sand in the pool although it was still usable. I sent a text to just let them know and the next day the pool was serviced! Again, much appreciated! That was the only issue we had during the week. We have stayed in this house a number of times and each year there are improvements made. Beach Realty has been great, the improvements that have been made to the reservation/payment process makes the process much simpler.

Poop stained carpets in 2 bedrooms, broken door on ice machine, ac issues. Although these were minor and were fixed quickly, it was a pain to deal with while on vacation.

We have stayed in this house several times with multiple management companies and Beach Realty did a nice job. The house layout works great for us, and the location, just north of Jennet’s pier, is great. Keyless entry is so much better than when we had to stop in at the office to get keys. Using text for communication worked well, got the text that the house was ready a few minutes early which was appreciated. No issues that required us to contact Beach Realty so other than the automated texts we had no reason to communicate with them, which was great.

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The space in the house met our needs. I really like the number of king beds that it had. The kitchen met our needs with the two dishwashers. We used the downstairs refrigerator for all of our drinks. Be sure to bring a roll of toilet tissue with you. You will need until you can get to the store. Almost all of our party flew in and arrived to a house with no tp. You may want to rent extra towels as you are only provided one bath towel, one hand towel, and one wash cloth per person. With the amount of washing that was done an extra set of washer and dryer would be extremely helpful. There is a corn hole set but no bean bags... we made our own. The pool and hot tub were very nice. There are two large piles of sand that blow into the pool when it is windy. Landscaping would help this issue. If you have elderly in your party please be aware that when come off the walkway to beach very steep hill to conquer. My 80 year old mother had a bit of difficulty navigating. The house could really usually an interior paint job.

Paradise found, then lost

Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The beach house was beautiful and very spacious. The pool is a disaster. Two piles of sand in the corners of the pool area keep the pool full of sand and dirty. No amount of skimming with the pool net will keep it clean. We were only able to use the pool the first day (right after it was cleaned) and the pool company came and cleaned midweek so we used it that day. So I basically paid for a pool (and extra $500 for heated option) that we couldn’t use. The the hot tub had a leak. We had to constantly refill it with the water hose, so it never got to hot tub temperature, so we couldn’t use the hot tub either. Yes, I made several calls to the realty company, and all we got was “we will put in a service order”. Do not recommend this cottage.

Last year Perfect, this year Disaster, same house

Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Beach Realty was notified by former tenant Friday 9-10 that the AC was not working. Well it took till Wed. afternoon late 9-15 to do easy fix. That left only 2 days of AC for 6 of 8 bedrooms (81 degrees)in our beach house, plus family room, bathroom and most of all pool table, bar room. Thursday 9-16 Spectrum finally came & fixed TV @ pool table, bar that we use to watch sports. Bathroom ground floor, locked from both sides, BR person broke in to give us access, we found towel in plastic wrap inside. Safety item, all 4 LED lights OUT in elevator, tells me its light switch or breaker which I reset & did not fix. 96 year old mother-in-law and 74 year old wife with walker could not go into elevator by them selves, unloading luggage & food not safe, they NEVER FIXED ALL WEEK. Swimming pool, paid $500. to heat, that was good, but pool never cleaned 9-11, pool guy came Tues. just put chemicals in, did not clean pool sand, NO 1 came Wed. as promised by BR, when they cut grass between 2 houses, they blew tons of clippings under open fence into pool, turned scum green layer around whole pool, till it sunk to bottom with sand never cleaned on 9-11. Bach area by grill is not sucking water, wend into pool room, read box, said , system error, also hot tub jests only working half way compared to last year, so that is why I should be refunded my $500. for dirty pool, not able to use, and compensated for NO AC 6 of 8 bedroom more than half of week, and Safety item, Elevator never fixed all week, a reason we rented house, also beach access dropped down 3 ft. after our beach steps, BR said not there problem, but you state easy beach access, which you did not provide, we shelved for 2-3 days do fix safety problem, that is why again, why we should be compensated for all your failures to make our beach house safe, and give us the beach house we paid for last year with no complaints. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: This house is huge, nicely furnished and well stocked. We did have an issue on check-in but Rebecca S. from Beach Realty was wonderful. She took care of the problem without it being an inconvenience for us. Thank you Rebecca! The only complaint is with the sand around the pool deck. It's impossible to keep the sand out of the pool. It was cleaned once during the week but that only lasts a day. If a vacuum was there so we could clean it ourselves, that would have been perfect.

Family Vacation 2021 Unforgettable!

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was very clean. I was happy with the location. I was satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: House was beautiful and the view spectacular. Of course end of season rental comes with minor issues to be addressed. I would stay in this house again if it wasn’t ocean front for a few reasons. Biggest issue was the 3’ sand pile right behind the pool. Which ended up blowing into the pool on a windy day and the pool was Completely unusable for remaining 3 days of vacation. Took pictures to remind me not to rent ocean front again. Also everyone going home with green hair, green beards, clothes etc... from the pool chemicals made some funny family pictures. Hot tub jets didn’t work properly and getting into it was very difficult. So gorgeous home, bad landscaping and another trip to the hairdresser.

My only complaint is the elevator lights did not work. Although I called this in, maintenance never showed up. Also, no one came midweek to clean the pool.
